I cant watch any videos

I can't watch any videos online on websites like YouTube. I recently re-installed all my software and put all my settings back to the original settings but now there is no way that I can watch videos. Please Help..!
Also I downloaded Adobe, but all thats done is when i go on a website with a video instead of it saying "blocked plug in" on it its just a blank black screen

Hi..
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Now back to the menu bar, click Safari > Empty Cache
Quit then relaunch Safari.
Try one of the sites you had trouble accessing...

on the safari icon. Check Rosetta, Restart. this
should allow you to use Quicktime video in Safari.
Quicktime doesn't require Rosetta in any way. Its already universal.

this is really bothering ever since ive updated to ios 8.0.2. my wifi connection is stable and theres no problems loading these apps, it just doesnt play the videos.

Your iPhone's iOS must be same or newer than the one in backups. In your case it is older so you need to update your iPhone and then recover it with backup.

Since you mention Firefox, I assume that the original problem is with Internet Explorer?
If so, check if that malware has the "kill-bit" set for Flash Player: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3432049#3432049
If you find that this "kill-bit" is set in your registry, don't remove it manually (unless you are very confident editing the registry); post back here, and someone will post an easy way to remove that "kill-bit".

A Good One Windows XP

YouTube uses Flash Video.
You need to install the free Flash Player (now Adobe).
You may also need to adjust your QuickTime Control Panel MIME Settings. Under Miscellaneous remove the check mark for Flash Media.
Quit and relaunch any open browser for these changes to take effect.
