I changed from enternet exporier 8 to firefox where are my favorites ?

When I transferred my info from Internet Explorer 8 to Firefox my list of favorites is no where to be found or I just don't know how to find it. Does it not transfer as well ? I need help with this Please.

In Firefox favorites are called bookmarks. Imported IE favorites are stored in a folder in the bookmarks called "From Internet Explorer". For details on using bookmarks see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Bookmarks

Only E$_TARGET_ANI_TEST is created with no data. No such tables like C$_0TARGET_ANI_TEST, I$_TARGET_ANI_TEST are created and also data is not inserted in the target table TARGET_ANI_TEST.

I have checked that only E$ table is created. C$ and I$ table are not created ( I have selected my target schema as the part for the staging table).
All the parameters for dropping the tables are selected as "<default>:false".

Where are my favorites from IE

When installing Firefox, it said I was importing my Favorites from IE. I had a list of about 100 favorites in various folders. But it did not show up in the Firefox bookmarks toolbar tab. Where are they?

Firefox automatically creates backups of your bookmarks, which can be helpful if your bookmarks are lost or missing. To recover them, follow the instructions below.

They should be either in the Videos or Photos app; if not you could try spotlight searching for them.

Where are the favorites list in the apple tv?

i add a podcast to the favorites but afterwards i cannot find where the favorites menu is in the latest ios for appletv 2. So where are they?

i go to internet then podcasts there are only 4 menus and no favourites menu

i am adding favs by finding a podcast (i have done this to a few) and choosing add to favorites then the add to favorites menu choice changes to remove from favorites so it must be added somewhere. still no list anywhere
the only menu i can find any sort of favorites is under youtube but the podcasts are not added there only youtube ones
I can add a radio staion to favourites and it creates a new menu under radio staions called favorites so it seems to only be podcast favorites that are missing

Thanks Jon for your response - at least I know I didn't misplace any parts while putting back together. I'm probably going to strip it down again though, it just doesn't make sense. I agree that they can be temperamental but my other QS which only has a 867mhz processor I put into a 2002 motherboard (the old board had issues, so I replaced it with the newer version) has really given no problems since I first assembled it all together almost 2 years ago. And although I haven't completely taken it apart again, I have used it to troubleshoot various pieces of RAM, video cards, etc without any problems. Yes, it's picky about what PCI card goes where, but would just having a different processor on a similar motherboard cause such a glitche? And actually the only glitche has been this RAM bank thing - which does come and go when I move the door, so I must have missed something else when assembling it.
After reading through a number of other posts, I shut down and did another PMU reset with a piece of known good RAM in the bank - but to no avail - it still sounded the bong as if it was going to start, then shut down. So I unplugged it and carefully copper-brushed out the bank and blew it out, then started up with a piece of RAM in the dissenting bank (but none in the middle bank), into Open Firmware doing a NVRAM reset according to the Apple document. I booted into the drive running Leopard, put it to sleep without any waking freeze, then rebooted into the Tiger hard drive which I normally prefer to work from (I don't really see the hype about Leopard - I don't find any benefits from using it - I find it picky and next to impossible to search files with, without a big drama and extra work). Anyway, that's where I am now - typing this - so far, so good, but it's worked okay for a short time before after re-seating the RAM in that bank - a sleep and a reboot will be the defining moment.

My tabs abruptly change from tabs to new firefox windows.

When I have several tabs open to different website, clicking on a particular tab frequently leads firefox to change the tab into a new instance of firefox, that is, a new window. This began happening a few weeks ago and seems to be happening more frequently. It happens on different computers also.

Disable autosync in itunes, connect your phone, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.

Transfer your purchases the same way to copy all apps and bought media from the Store to your computer.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your phone got wiped during the first sync.

Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

It was recommended that I try Firefox as it's more user friendly to accessing a variety of our sites of interest that aren't being facilitated by Safari. But your info says that the latest Firefox isn't compatible with my iBook..is there an older version that is, as, of course, I can't install any new software from intel onto this product ? How can I check whether new versions of Firefox are compatible with my add-ons? I specifically need to know this regarding Zotero as I would very much hate to loose my reference data base when changing from one version of Firefox to the next ...

Firefox 9.0.1 is a real old version and is no longer supported - Firefox 24.0 is the current release version.
Open the Add-0ns manager tab and click on '''More''' for each extension that you have installed. Near the bottom of each "More" there should be a link that will take you to the download page where you can verify compatibility.
Or use this extension - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/is-it-compatible/ - but I'm not sure how well it will work when you are so many versions 'behind the curve'.

Hundreds of Books disappeared during migration from iTunes to iBooks. Where are they?

After the Mavericks upgrade, I tried to access my iBook library (containing hundreds of EPUB and PDF books, almost all of which weren't purchased from Apple) via iTunes.
I got the message to import them via iBooks (v 1.0). I did so, and all but two books disappeared. I was told by an Apple Genius that a fix was in the works. So I waited.
I installed iBooks 1.0.1, and redid the "Move Books from iTunes". None of my books were found - they'd all been removed from iTunes by the broken version of iBooks.
So where did iBooks 1.0 put my books? How can I get them back?

They may well be lost.
I had the same, the whole snyc process over to iBooks did not work at all. Apple keeping quiet about it, because its such a major screw-up.
Luckily enough, I had a backup of all my pdf-books, so I imported them manually to iBooks. Some people suggested the books may be buried somewehre deep in your iTunes music library. Well, they certianly weren't over here.
A true mess, and fully consistent with the recent f*** ups in iPhoto (library sharing via Wifi has disappeared) and the much talked about missing features in Pages and Numbers (never used those cripples anyway as I need to do serious word porcessing and calculating, so these "kids-apps" are no alternative to Word and Excel)

I just had my hard drive recovered from broken time capsule. Where are my files?

They retrieved the 1 TB harddrive for me but now that I have put it into an enclosure, I cannot seem to find any of the files.
Are they gone forever??

Ok, you have lost the data partition which is really bad.. I think you might need a data recovery centre.. if I take a hard disk from a TC I can see the three partitions.
This popped up in another post. I wonder if the issue is Lion.
If you have a computer with SL can you try that.
When I have had issues with some TC hard disk, I have found files via windows PC.. download the free HFS+ tools for explorer. They do not allow you to copy to the TC.. but that is fine, see if you can read the files on the disk.
I know it is too late.. but we advise people never to use the TC as a storage device.. this is why.

Upgraded from LR3 Beta to LR3: Where are all of my Presets from Beta?

I just installed the full version of LR3. What the heck happened to all of my presets from the LR3 Beta? It only found the ones from LR2.

Nope, but I did find them.
Apparently the default location is within the Pictures folder on my main drive. The Beta had them stored under (User)–>Application Support–>Adobe–>Lightroom.

Can't find photos on my Iphone5 that I synced from Itunes off my computer, where are they?

Tried several times yo sync my photo's and on step 6 all the folders appear in my Iphone5 then in stage 7 of the sync all of a sudden all the new photo folders just disappear from my Iphone and they refuse to sync on to it. Tryed at lease 4 times and every time the same thing, appear to sync then in the final stage they disappear from the phone, all the new photo folders. Whats up with this??

Kindle books from ipad to macbook pro where are you?

i was syncing my ipad to my macbook pro and it asked if i wanted to send purchases to the computer. i said yes and all the books i purchased from apple showed up in my itunes library but all the kindle books i had bought on my ipad through amazon disappeared along with Skype, some Newstand items and games I had purchased. did apple seriously hijack my stuff?

Kindle books are linked to your Amazon account, and don't copy over to iTunes on your computer (mine never have anyway). If you want them on your computer then you can download the Kindle for Mac program and download them in that.
Apps/games that you've bought from Apple can be re-downloaded for free
