I changed my Apple ID last night but the iPad still has the old one and won't take the new password either.
How the heck do I get my iPad to take the new Id? I can't dowload anything or update anything. I thought when I changed it and my password last night that the iPad would be set up with the new info.
No, it does not change automatically. For starters, go to Settings> iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Sign out of the old ID and sign in with the changed ID. That will allow you to start downloading content and updating apps again.

In order to sign out of your iCloud account that had a ID change, you would need to change the account back to the original. The reason for that is probably due to the Find my device feature and it needs to verify and if that iCloud account does not exist because of the name change and you cannot sign out. Changing it back is pretty easy and should not ask you to verify but once you change it and sign out, you can change it back to what you want it to be. Exactly! The password I used to log on here and write my post I figured was the same Apple ID password I would use to reset my computer login password. But my computer isn't recognizing it as the correct password so it wont let me update my login password. I have 2 user accounts on my computer.
As far as the link you provided, I already looked to that for help earlier. It states:

I did these steps, but I don't remember my admin password. The question is: How do I reset my admin password so I can reset my log in password.

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again. -

you have to go into Settings > Store > Apple ID: (your old ID should be there) Click on the old ID. Sign out. Then Sign in with your new ID.

I have changed to a mac but on both my phone & my i pad it says will resume sync when (old)PC is available however when i sync both of them on my Mac it appears to do a sync but doesnt say so on i pad or i phone.

I dropped my iPad mini on the floor, but it was not at all a big drop and landed firmly but the lightning cable inside my iPad cracked and from now on I have been using my sisters iPad charger(the same as old one) and now it take 4 hours to charge 8% HELP!!
It sounds like the drop damage more then just the lightning adapter.
I suggest you take it to Apple and ask them to check it out for you.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

I changed my main email on my apple ID now when I try sign in with the new email it doesn't work and neither does my old one so I don't know what happened, any help?... I made a new apple ID and on my iPod it tries to use my old one and I can't change it to my new apple ID I've gone on to settings and iTunes and App Store and changed it to my new apple Id yet when I buy apps or try update them it uses my old apple ID I don't know what to do any help??
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
If you can't log into Settings>iTunes and App stores with your new ID them mean there is a problem. Try restting the password and try to sign in again.
