I changed my email address on my account at iTunes. It is my iTunes ID. I have synced my iPad with iTunes. I have Apps that need to be updated on my iPad, but my old email address is imbedded on the password screen. How do I get my new email address there so that my submission goes through to iTunes?
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap the old ID, sign out, sign in with the new one.
App Store>Featured Tab>Swipe to the bottom of the screen and your Apple ID is there as well. Tap the ID and sign out, sign in with the new one,

When I opened my App Store today, I found 6 apps needing update. I clicked “Update All” and there popped “Sign in to iTunes Store” and asked me to enter the Apple ID password for <my account>. I entered my password for the Apple ID but it said “Your Apple ID or password is incorrect.” Since I entered incorrect passwords many times, I had to reset my password two times already. I want to update the apps on my phone. But, I can’t , and this is tiring, exhausting, and frustrating. My questions: (1) Why is iTunes asking for a password for an old account when I changed that already? (2) What to do now - Do I sign out of iTunes, delete the account and create a new one?
<E-mails Edited by Host>We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple - I've asked the hosts to remove your email addresses from your post (it's not a good idea to post personal info on any public forum).
Is the old account a completely different iTunes account, or is it just a previous primary email address on the same account ? If it's a different account then all content that you download from the store is tied to the account that downloaded it, so only that old account will be able to download updates to its apps.
If it's the same account, just a previous primary email address, then what id shows at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your phone ? You could try tapping on that and log out of it and then log back in with the updated version and see what id then shows for updates. -
My e-mail has changed, but I purchashed some songs in iTunes using my old e-mail address as my account name... so when I try to play the sonngs I bought and paid for - it keeps asking me to authorize my PC first, but I don't remember the password! And since the old e-mail address is no longer active, I can't even chenge the password- becasue it's sends the link to do so via e-mail! Even when I use the "ask personal questions" option to verify and it asks me for my date of birth, I put it in and it still won't acccept.

The App Store said I needed to switch countries so I clicked the button and it switched it for me but now I can't update my apps but when I try to change it through settings it still says the country is the u.s. I don't know what to do to change it back

I updated to the latest IOS and now my passwords don't work. Reset 4 time which reset for my iPad and iPhone but I cant log into my itunes account using my apple ID it indicates an error, Help?
This may sound crazy, but download any free app. This often "shocks" the other apps into working.

How did you do that? Do you mean you sync to iTunes that had the ipad library?
The phone with the issue, settings - general - reset - erase all contents and settings - this will wipe the phone clean and then restore from your backup. -
I recently got my moms friends old iphone5 that he had for like a month. Everything is fine with it but it wont let me update any of my apps because it asks for his apple ID password. Is there anything i can do to change/fix that?

You should remove his AppleID and restore it as new. -
How do I get my messages to come through on my ipad Via my mobile number? They always used to but I've had to change all my Apple ID if that has anything to do with it? In iMessages it will only take an email address!

I recently moved from Winnipeg to Brandon MB, and have changed my email address and attempted to delete the old one. Everytime I go to download or transfer data to my iphone or ipad I hit a wall. The system is asking me for my password to my old email address that dosent exist and I can't remember anyway. How do I get around this wall? I cant figutre it out. I do have a new email and password that has been registered with iCloud, etc. but the old one keepd jumping in
We need to be clear here. Did you create a second ID, or just modify the single ID?

Im using Itunes version 10.6.3 to try to restore my Ipad. Check for updates tells me this is the most recent verion, but its also telling my I cant restore my Ipad because its doesnt have the software available yet.

HELP: Apps Downloaded Under Expired Email Can't Be Updated on IPAD
My wife's MobilMe address has expired. She also had an older MacBook that couldn't update ITunes to the ICloud.
So, she purchased a new MacBook and changed her email to a .mac account in ITunes.
Here's the problem: When she tries to update apps on her IPAD downloaded under her OLD email, the IPAD shows her old email account and asks for that password. But, that email account does not exist anymore, so when she types in the old password, nothing happens. So, she cannot update these apps on her IPAD.
I have read some other threads on this topic. Just so I'm clear, her new Apple ID shows up everywhere on her IPAD. The only time the old Apple ID shows up is when she tries to update certain apps (those downloaded under the old Apple ID).
Any suggestions on how to fix this? Based on what I've read so far, this is a problem with no solution yet. I'm leaning towards deleting all of these apps off of her IPAD and her computer's ITUNES, then reloading them under her new address. But, I'm holding out for a better option before doing this.

It's not asking for the email password, it's asking for the password of the Apple ID that is identified by the email address. Her best bet is to go here and "Manage your account." to straighten things out.
Also, what do you mean that her MM address has expired? Was this a trial account? If not, it's impossible for it to expire.
Finally, it appears that she created a second ID, which will cause the problem that she's experiencing. Her best bet is to go back to the original Apple ID and use the above-referenced link to change the NAME to the new email address. Kinda like painting your car instead of buying a new one. -
I replaced my iPad with a new one. I backed up to iCloud but did not do a physical iTune Sync. Now I am having trouble recovering some Notes and Photos. I have been reinstalling Apps from the App Store. How do I recover my Notes?

I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.

Also, I had no clue that my iCloud could be backed up via cellular data! However, is this a new feature with the most updated iOS?? Unforutnatly I am like 2 iOS updates behind because I don't have enough storage on my phone. Help! I have a new iPhone 5s. My husband just lost his 4s, so I want to give him my 4s. We want to use same Apple ID so we both have access to itunes/apps purchases. Want to separate contacts, messages, mail, etc. I cannot change iCloud address on 4s iPhone. Also, when I tried to change iMessage I got a message that if I deleted my id (which seemed to be the only way to get my husband's I'd there), I would not be able to receive iMessages on any device.

I would just follow the instructions from this article to give your unused 4s to your spouse. Since you have already started using your 5s, you will still be receiving iMessages on that phone and will have no need to receive them on a device that has been replaced. (I think the daughter got he better end of the deal!) I believe if you change the password and user id one of the devices it will stop that from occurring. But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.
