I changed my email for iTunes but now I can't sign into icloud

I Changed my email address for iTunes and now my old email address is my iCloud and I can't sign in.

If you are trying to change the iCloud ID ("email address") on your device, you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.  When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted.  If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

    Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your iCloud account on your Mac.  I recommend signing out of iCloud first:
    On your Mac, open iCloud preferences, then click Sign Out.

    I changed my Apple ID password and now I can't log into iCloud.  In addition I am unable to sign out or exit the iCloud System Preference page and have to force a shut down using the power off button to get rid of it.  Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

    If the Preference Pane hangs, hit comand-option-escape and force quit System Preferences to avoid having to reboot.
    In order to sign out you need the original password if you have set up 'Find My ....'. However you can't now change the password back to the original one (as you are not allowed to re-use a password).In this situation only Support can help you.
    To contact  iCloud Support: if you currently happen to have AppleCare, either because you recently bought Apple hardware or have paid to extend the inititial period, you can contact them here:

    You will need the serial number of the covered hardware.
    If you are not covered by AppleCare, then - in common with other free email services - there is no free support and you may be asked to pay a fee.

    Apple provided a procedure, listed in the first article I posted, that instructs you to log out of all Apple ID related services prior to changing your primary email address.  Granted, I'd like to see a reminder link listed at appleid.apple.com next to the Primary Email Address edit option, but Apple does provide a correct procedure, plus a way to fix it if you don't follow the procedure.
    In fact, the last article I linked to gives you three separate steps to try.  If the Apple Support Advisor jumped straight to step three, instead of having you try steps one & two first, then that was not correct on their part.
    1. Use your current Apple ID password
    Trying using your current Apple ID password. If that doesn't work, continue to the next step.
    2. Sign out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime
    If you are currently signed in to iMessage or FaceTime
    If you are not signed in to iMessage or FaceTime
    3. Change your Apple ID temporarily
    If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't work, try these steps:
    Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
    Tap Settings > iCloud and try to sign out.
    Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
    Tap Settings > iCloud and sign in with the new Apple ID.
    Complaining about an issue arising when you don't follow their instructions is like complaining that you lost all of your data because you never backed it up to iTunes or iCloud as they recommend, and you lost data after an iOS update.  In fact, the very first step of [iOS: How to update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Support - Apple] states: "Back up your device to iCloud or iTunes."  And it even includes a link if you don't know how to do that.
    When you use the Apple Support Articles properly, you avoid 99.9% of all potential problems.

    Go into Programs and Features and uninstall:
    iTunes
    Apple Application Support
    Apple Mobile Device Support
    Apple Software Update
    Reboot. Download a fresh copy of iTunes. Right click on the exe file and select Run as Administrator.
    I did this and it reinstalled as if nothing happened. All of my songs, podcasts and playlists were still there.

    Did you purchase Apple Care? If you did, you still have access to Apple Support.  If not, go to your Apple Store and let them help you get it set up correctly.  I'm sure it's something simple we're missing.  Good Luck. 
    Do remember one thing.  iMessage on iPad only works with other iOS devices.  This means you can only text to people who:
    1.  Have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch
    2.  And they have upgraded to iOS 5 or higher

    I changed my AppleID / email address after my old email expired, and now whenever I go to sign into iCloud on my computer it still shows my OLD AppleID in the log-in and it won't let me change it.     Welcome to the Apple Community.
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
    Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
    If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

    -If you established a rescue email address, there will be a link on the "Passwords & Security" page of id.apple.com.  Clicking the link will send the reset to your rescue email address (NOTE:  This is not the same address as your Apple ID email)
    -If there is no link on the page, then you didn't establish a rescue email address.  Contact AppleCare at 800.694.7466 (If you are in the US), and ask for account security.  You will need to answer some questions to verify your identity, AND you will need access to a computer to generate a temporary support pin.

    Go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com. Click' See all products and services', then 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID', then 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'.
