i changed my email perferences 4 days ago and am still getting email mailouts....HELP!
Give this a try:
Go to your profile page.
Select the Notifications tab clear out anything that shows there.
Go back to your profile
In the Actions box select Preferences
Select the Email Notifications Preferences tab
Set the values as you like
Go back to your profile
In the Actions box select Manage Email Notifications
delete any that show
Note: steps 4 & 7 appear to be the same but they are not. The steps need to be followed as specified. If this doesn't stop the email we'll need to have a host look into it.

Not normal. For 3G and later it takes minutes, for a 1G or 2G it can take four hours or so.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I previously uploaded images onto my desktop to work on in Lightroom 5.2. I worked on a few of the images days ago and just now getting back to them. My problem is I can only access the images I previously worked on and all the rest it says images not available but all the images are still right on my desktop.

the emails appear in my inbox with subject line ok. also shows sender.
This occurred two days ago and has affected all of my in box prior, Emails recd since then can be viewed. The interesting part is when I click on an email that I can read and then click on an email from a few days ago or a month ago , it still shows the subject and sender of the later email and the preview pane is blank.
extensions installed are lookout 1.2.13 and import/export tools 2.8.0.4 which is disabled. was not game to enable
by way of explanation, lets say I have 20 emails in my inbox numbered 1 thru 20.
emails 1-10 recd prior to date X
emails 10-20 recd post date x
emails 10-20 can view in preview pane all as normal
if I click # 15 say all is well
if I then click #2 say, the preview pane is blank , the to and from still appears as # 15 and the preview pane is blank.right click the folder, select properties and then the repair button. That rebuilds the index for the mail folder and may fix the issue, or it may remove some mail from the list. But remember we are only building an index, not changing the message store.

I have just bought a MacAir. The Mac shop moved my data over two days ago and my husband picked it up. The apple shop down loaded my emails up until 2 days ago. But I have just started the computer and it has not brought in emails from the past 2 days. Can anyone advize me what to do? I am an Apple virgin after only ever using PCs.
Are you connected to an ISP? Have you set up your Mail preferences per your ISP's requirements?

when i connect to itunes on ipad, it immediately wants me to restore, i get almost to the end and then i get an error msg. On my ipad i have either the apple displayed or the itunes connect bar. cant do anything else.
