I recently changed my password on my iPod and I entered it wrong. I can't acces my iPod as it disables and says to connect to iTunes. But I'm not sure whether to or not to restore my iPod Touch to it's original setings. What does this do? Will my iTunes library be effected? I would really appreciate it if you helped me!
If you can't remember the Passcode, you need to restore the device from the computer it was last synced with.
Follow the instructions for putting the device in recovery mode > iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
That restores the iPod to factory settings.
Will my iTunes library be effected?
It will be deleted from the iPod touch.

The question mark means the computer cannot find a bootable volumes so can;t do anything, That, combined with annoying sounds, strongly suggests a failed hard drive.
You can ask a "genius" at an Apple Rtail Store to test it but I'm pretty sure the drive is kaput. I'm hoping you had your data backed up. -

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes) in the search box. Note the timestamps of those log messages, which refer to the times when the system was booted. Now clear the search box and scroll back in the log to the last boot time when you had the problem. Select the messages logged after the boot, during the time something abnormal was happening. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
For example, if the problem is a slow startup taking three minutes, post the messages timestamped within three minutes after the boot time, not before. Please include the BOOT_TIME message at the beginning of the log extract.
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

Still in Console, look under System Diagnostic Reports for crash or panic logs, and post the entire contents of the most recent one, if any. In the interest of privacy, I suggest you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if present (it may not be.) Please don’t post shutdownStall, spin, or hang logs — they're very long and not helpful. -

As long as you have a legitimate serial number, you can just download a trial version of the version you need from the public Adobe site, install it and input your valid serial number upon installing it.
You will need to apply all available updates, as all downloads are of the original release.
The Extended and the Standard version of Photoshop are one and the same binary. It's your serial number that makes it Extended or Standard. -

Create a data recovery, undelete boot drive
to get your data off the machine,
then do a #20 to eliminate the bad sectors as that's why your getting the "pinwheel" it's getting a delay reading from the drive, right when your trying to log in too, what a bad spot for it to happen.

In the middle of changing my password the Internet crashed. Now I can't find my original apple id. When I enter my date of birth I get an error msg! I'm not receiving any e-mails, I don't know what e-mail address it is so I check them all...NOTHING. I was forced to create a new ID only to discover all the Apps I've paid for on iPod won't sync, songs..same thing. I've created a new apple id. When I type in the old ID a msg says it exists..BUT WHERE IS IT!????? Why the **** does APPLE MAKE IT SO DIFFICULT? I mean the amount of times you have to re-enter your password is bloody ridiculous. Security CRAP. Online banking is more user friendly. I have eyestrain from reading all the data they have so you can solve the problem. I don't have the TIME! You cannot remove or change the old ID. This is Find My iPhone Activation Lock. You need to recover the credentials for the Apple ID originally used to activate the iPad.

Not true. The music and pic sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
You really should transfer everything from the old computer, or your backup copy of your computer. Since you do not have access to the old computer, then use your backup copy of the old computer.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer ( not good), then you would have to transfer itunes purchased as described earlier. Any other itunes content would be lost.
You can e-mail photo library pics to yourself, but they will not be of the original quality.
Before syncing, enter at least one unique contact and calendar entry on the computer. When you first sync, then you should get the option to merge the data. -

The reset link will only send reset info to your rescue email address, an alternate email address is not used for account security. If you don't know what your rescue email address is (you won't be able to view/change it until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

Sorry, there is nothing you can do until the device is removed from the sellers Apple ID.

I used to have eight genius mixes and now I have four...I changed the genres around and nothing happened...I've added many more songs since it changed from 8 to 4 mixes...how can I get more again and why did it go from 8 to 4? 1. Don't confuse "Apple ID" with iTunes Account ID. You can have many Apple IDs but only one iTunes account active at a time.
2. If you "changed" your iTunes account ID, you actually have 2 accounts - one under the old name plus the new name.
3. You can't merge the accounts - they remain separate. Apps purcahsed under the old account name will update ONLY WHEN THE PHONE IS SIGNED IN TO THE OLD ACCOUNT NAME and visa versa.
4. Likewise, you can sync only the apps, music, media purchased under the account the phone AND iTunes are signed in to. -
