I changed out my old cell phone for a Motorola zoom and now the zoom has my old phone number associated with it's sim card. I just purchased a Samsung Android cell phone and would like to trade the sim from my new to cell to the zoom so I can have my old cell phone number back. The problem is the sim cards are different sizes. Is this something I can take to a store and get switched out?

Trouble is appl no longer sells it, you have to search eBay & such for the full retail version, not any grey Install Disc.

I ve seen all the threads from first to last even am gonna get a iphone 4s from Thailand. Would like to know which sim will be working fine in chennai as you all are using d phone for past many days??? Is it advisable to buy a phone from abroad.Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

I backed up my iphone 3 in preparation for moving to iphone 4S and before i changed the sim card I discovered my notes had been wiped! It looks like this is quite common but can anyone tell me where the notes I backed up on itunes would be???
In the iPhone backup. Right click on the phone in iTunes and choose "Restore from Backup".

If by delete you really mean clear the contents of a cell, then just click once on the cell and hit the 'delete' button.

In some circumstances you can actually delete one cell.

So it's not strictly true that Numbers does not delete one cell, ever. It can if you have a one-column table.

My Safari is no longer working with many sites. However Chrome and Firefox work fine. I would like to re-install Safari in an effort to clear up the problem I can not resolve.
1. From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
2. Select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
and confirm. Test.
3. If the above steps don't resolve the problem, please describe it in more detail. -

The recommended solution for most families is to share the same Apple ID for iTunes and App Store purchases, so you can share your purchases, but us different IDs for iMessage, FaceTime and iCloud. With this arrangement, each person can automatically download purchases made on the shared ID (by turning this feature on in Settings>iTunes & App Stores), while keeping their FaceTime calls, text messages and iCloud data (including photo stream) separated. There is no requirement that the ID you use for purchasing be the same as the ID you use for these other services.

I'm trying to change the number associated with our ipad's facetime and messages to my number, not my husbands. When I look under settings, it shows his number, but I don't see the opportunity to change or edit the number.
It will not send notifications for that number to that devcie if turnmed off but the number is still active if selected on other devices.
Messages is lionked through the use of your Apple ID and any numbers or email associated to that ID can be set as notifications.
The Phone numbers seem to be registered before email in messages and the easiest method for setup that I have found is to turn messages off on asll devices that you have under that Apple ID.
Then start with your iphone first, turn messagaes on, wait a few minutes for it to completly register.
Then go to the next device and do the same until complete, with each new device A prompt should come up asking if you want to associate the previous contact metyhod with this device.

I'm a beginner and would like to know which Photoshop to use (so many options). The only edits I care about being able to do are: whitening teeth, smoothing complexions/taking away blemishes. I came to Lightroom quite recently (in the last month!) from Photoshop Elements 11. I like the organization features in LR better, but for adjustments such as the ones that you mentioned I would leave LR and go back to Photoshop Elements 11, primarily because that is what I know. I don't use the subscription service, mainly because I already owned and installed the boxed version of Photoshop Elements 11 and adding it to a subscription service with Lightroom seemed redundant. I am sure someone in the community will (or has) comment(ed) that it is possible to whiten teeth and cure blemishes within LR, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. Check out the TV Adobe free tutorials, particularly Julianne Kost's tutorials. She has a good presentation style and you might find the LR answer that you need with detailed instructions. -
i formatted my computer and now i would like to sync my music from my iphone back to the computer, is there any way to do this? i don't want to loose my music. p.s. all my music that was on the computer was there privately, i did not get it from itunes.
