I clicked on an email that I suspect may be phishing. How should I proceed?

I clicked on a link on my iPhone. All of my contacts were deleted. How can this further affect my phone? Will whatever messed up my phone be able to firther access it? Thanks!

nobody here would know as we have no idea what you clicked on, however simply clicking any kind of link on a phone cannot delete your contacts.

You are going to need to go to: FORGOT APPLE ID to retrieve your iCloud/Apple ID. Once you know your ID, you can log onto Apple - My Apple ID and click on Reset Password to answer the Security Questions you will need to answer. If you don't remember the answers, you will have to contact Apple Support to have them reset: ACCOUNT SECURITY CONTACT NUMBERS

Go to the Password & Security section on the left side, and click on the link underneath the security questions that says 'Forgot your answers? Send reset security info email to [email]'. This will generate an automated e-mail that will allow you to reset your security questions.
If that doesn't work, or there is no rescue email link available, then click on 'Temporary Support PIN' that is in the bottom left side, and generate a 4-digit PIN for the Apple Account Security Advisor you will be contacting later.

Hello, my problem is this: in my laptop I cant open my e-mails, or any other folder, I mean, I can usually get into my mail but when I click on an email that does not open, and firefox update, this only happens on my laptop, HELP PLEASE!

You do know tht if you created a new Apple ID - that is different than changing the Apple ID. Apps are always tied to the ID that was used to make the purchase. If the old ID is popping up, it seems like that ID is rid to the apps indicating that you created a new ID. Of course, I could be wrong or misunderstanding what you're saying as well.
If you go to Settings>iTunes & App Store, tap your old ID and sign out and then sign in with the new ID, that should be all that you need to do, if you changed the ID. If you created a new ID, that will not work.

Therefore I think you can be extremely confident that it is legit request and url. Just always always make sure that the link you are going to click on is what it looks like. In mac mail right click on the link and select "Copy Link", then paste it into text edit to check what it actually is. Do not visit the url if it is not what it appears to be in the email. If uncertain use a ping tool like network-tools.com (which is where I got the info above from).

Some of my emails are not displaying images. When I click within the email, the webpage is the same. How can this be fixed?

I use hotmail and the problem only happens with certain emails, like Homedepot and Redbox. Within the email, it states "Having trouble viewing this email? Click here.", but when I click this, the same problem persists, no images displayed. These are the only two I have noticed that are not displaying the images. Please help. Thanks

Hello riopeltravel, let's solve this mystery! What make & model phone do you have? Also, have you tried deleting the email account off of the phone and re-adding with the username and password? How long have the email accounts stopped working? Keep us posted!

Go to Settings, and then turn iMessage and FaceTime on if they are off. If they are on, then turn them both off, restart the phone, then turn them back on.
Go back to Settings > iCloud. Whether the current or old email address is displayed there, try your current password.

you can try this, on your phone, go to the app store, hit the update button on the bottom, then click on purchase, you will then see 2 tabs all/or not on this phone. Look and see if your app is there, if it is hit the cloud icon next to it and it will download to your home screeen.

Go to /Applications/Utiliites/Activity Monitor and look for the Dashboard Client process. If Dashboard Client doesn't display select to view 'All Processes' or 'All Processes, Hierarchically'. Select it and then click the 'Quit Process' button at the top of the Activity Monitor window.
