Not necessarily. I'd suggest downloading and installing the "combo" update. That's a combination (thus the clever name) of all the updates to Leopard since it was first released, so installing it should fix anything that's gone wrong since then, such as with one of the normal "point" updates. Do those entries have a yellow star at the far right?
If they have then they are bookmarks. You can remove them if you open that link and click the star to open the Edit This Bookmark dialog and click the Remove button in that dialog.

When I'm on Facebook and play Fish World, sending gifts is no longer working, the drop down box won't open enough to see the "send" button. It works in other games, but not in Fish World, and I contacted Fish World who said it was a browser problem.

Fish world told me a few weeks ago it was due to some updates with Facebook, but now that has been fixed and I can't get the game inFB to work. It works with other browsers - Chrome and IE9. Windows will scale applications display or windows will not scale application display depending on how the application is coded. Photoshop is coded in a way that its display is not scaled by windows. Photoshop knows about your displays high pixel count not its resolution so it uses its pixels however it does not scale its UI to make it usable on your display. Other application let Windows scale their display output.   For example Microsoft default for is Surface Pro 3, 216 ppi display is to scale applications display up 150% so the surface pro 3 display which has 2160x1440 pixels a 216 ppi resolution look like at display with the user is using with 1440x960 pixels. The Application works like the display is 1440x960 and Windows scale those pixels to the displays using the displays 2160x1440 pixels the effectively changing it resolution to 144ppi rather than the actual 216ppi.
The reg update and external manifest file effectively tells photoshop its working on such a size display display some number of pixel wide and some number photoshop uses that as the display size in turn Windows scale those pixels to use the displays 2160x1440 pixels efector lowing its 216ppi resolution. Photoshop CC 2014 2X UI would be like using windows 200% option applications would be shown the are working on a display 1080x720 instead of the Surface Pro 3 2160x1440. Note that 1080x720 does not meet PS requirement of 1024x768. Photoshop UI would not fit on the Surface Pro 3 display..

I updated firefox to 4.0 and then to 5.0 and it doesn't look like it is supposed to, I still have the navigation tool bar at the top of my page and the drop down boxes too (file, edit, view etc). Why is this an how can I get the proper new versions?

When I updated firefox to 4.0 the only things that really changed were a couple of buttons and the position of the tabs, the blue navigation bar and the drop down menus for file etc didn't change at all.
My computer also freezes when visiting certain websites with firefox, not Every time I visit but frequently. The websites are usually commonly visited websites (Gmail, stuff.co.nz) and don't do it when I am using internet explorer or another computer. This started when I downloaded the upgrade.

To get the new style UI you need to hide the menu bar. To do that in the View menu select Toolbars, then click on the "Menu Bar" entry.
If you need access to the menus you can press either Alt or F10 to temporarily display them.

I am having some serious issues with firefox to the point of choosing another search engine. I can't print anything because it is stuck on fax and won't let me change it to my printer when i do try to select my printer it jumps right back to fax. The drop down menus do not work on any of the sites I go to. For example when purchasing clothes and you have to choose a size from a drop down menu I can't do it when I click on the drop down menu it doesn't work at all. I don't have a virus I ran my virus protector and no viruses are present. I don't have any suspicious issues going on with my computer so there has to be something in Firefox that is causing my issues. I tried internet explorer and I don't have any issues there. I hope you can help me because I love Firefox and would really like to continue to use it.

Lots of issues there, main one getting fcpx going again, try deleting the preferences using the utility deveoped by these guys.

I have worked with iMoive a ton and have never had an issue. I consider myself pretty computer savvy. This new iMovie is not my friend. It will not let me share my new video. I click on the project and click "share" like it says but I don't receive any further prompt. It literally does nothing. I tried the drop down menu and I see the "share" with an arrow indicating there are options but no drop down menu appears. I need this video by tonight to submit for work. HELP!

I got it to share! No reloading iMovie!
I do not have Mackeeper on my laptop
I have the movie files on an external hard drive
1. Close out iMovie
2. Eject the external hard drive
3. Start up iMovie
4. Plug in the external hard drive
5. Go into finder and double click on the folder containing the movie
6. Select the movie as if to edit
7. Share it!

Sometimes clicking on an object in the drop-down box of the search does not put that into the search box.

when putting an inquiry into the search box, the drop-down gives suggestions. Sometimes when selecting a suggestion, it does not appear in the search box. Reboot of computer fixes the problem. reboot of the browser does not.

I installed a new printer and Acrobat Pro is not listing it as an option in the drop down box. Other apps are working. Printer is networked, platform is Windows.

I've rebooted numerous times, reloaded the software twice, spent 4 hrs on the phone with HP and 2 with Adobe. No luck. I was downloading something, and it shoved the stupid Bing toolbar, which I can't remove now. Also, I accidentally removed the toolbar on the very top of the browser with "file, help, tools, ect." I'm kind of technologically impaired, if you haven't noticed.

You can uninstall unwanted extensions by going into Tools > Add-ons > Extensions.
You can select which toolbars to see by going into View > Toolbars. Also, you can reset your interface by going into View > Toolbars > Customize... > Restore default set.
