I completed my final year of high school (Year 12) this year. Can I still be considered a student?

I recently finished my final year of high school and want to know whether I can get the student pricing.
I will be moving on to university (or college) next year. But that doesn't commence until March.
Do I have to wait till then or can I sign up before hand?

I guess you'll just have to wait and see what happens then. Policy is, accidental damage and abuse are not covered by warranty or AppleCare. The exception is the iPhone 4S IF you have AppleCare+. In that case they will replace the phone up to 2 times in 2 years for accidental damage with a $49US fee each time.
I think there was probably a miscommunication somewhere. I'm guessing that after they receive your old phone, they will look it over and charge you the $149 for the replacement.

HT4527 I completed all of the steps to transfer my library from one computer to another through home sharing, but the "Import" button is faded like I cannot use it and it won't let me import and complete the final step. How do I fix this?

Nothing in the instructions about transferring via "HomeSharing" states to use the Import button.
Have you actually read the instructions?
What specific step are you having an issue with?
The article from which your question was posted provides details on how to transfer the iTunes library multiple ways, did you try one of the other methods?

Well then you have a number of points that can be solved very differently. Does exist any legacy hardware or software that need to be included into your project?

Wow that is so unlucky. If I was you I would try talking to someone at the Apple Store, explain your situation and don't be shy to shed a tear or too. Its just a shame 3 weeks after your phone getting hardware problems. I know people will say, oh buy Apple Care but I feel ya and I know adding that extra money in the beginning feels pointless and expensive.
Worst case scenarion like I said you will have to pay Apple 269 for them to swap phones. Or if you have any nerd friends have them fix it for you. Its a tedious repair the way the power button has some weird hinge that needs to snap on and ribbons are so thin. I do not advise for you to attempt to fix your self unless you don't care if you break it completely.
Alternatively you could just turn on Assisitive touch on accessibility and use that. That way you wont need to pay anything to fix your phone and wont need to take it apart either.

I still have you in my Buddy list.
Whereas you were showing just plain "Norma" you are now showing "Norma Howe" in Capital Letters.
The only way I know to achieve that at my end is to View any Display Name that was set up or Add those "First Name, Last Name" Details to my address Book and list your Screen Name against them.
IF the AIM Settings Display Name items does not List NORMA HOWE and in fact lists something else the only thing I can think of is another App allows the Display name to be set from there and this is overriding the AIM Setting info.
I fired up an old version of AIM for Mac (version 4.7 from 2005) on my G4 computer running Leopard.
This Identifies Buddies that have entered Display Names (puts them in the Quotes as in "NORMA HOWE")
In the Preferences of this version of AIM for Mac it has a Sign On tab.
This has a box to enter how you show up (i.e. the Display Name) This version hints at adding Capitalisation and Spaces to your Screen Name.
Actually when I tried to change it to anything this version refused to let me.
So I changed my regular Name to "Ralph Johns r"
This however does not change the AIM settings page

This would suggest that if the AIM setting page does not have this info then it is an AIM app somewhere.

Need to extract faces and names from a multi-portrait high school year book scanned page

     I am responsible for generating individual high school student portraits (5" x 7") from scanned 600 dpi pages of portraits from my high school beacon (year book). There are 16 - 20 black and white portraits per page and there are between 800 and 850 students in my graduating class.
     The end product is taking an estimated 850 portraits from multi- portrait pages and convert them into individual 5" x 7" B&W photos.
     Attached is one of the pages of portraits to experiment with. Other than selecting each individual portrait and pasting it into a new image from the clipboard, I don't know of a faster way to do it. This will nearly take forever.
     Might there be a way to create a grid of selections template that applies to each page and extracts the portraits and names separating them into individual images?
I couldn't download a sample for some reason. The portraits are arranged 4 wide and 5 down like below table but without the header. The names are below the faces. If one of you has an idea, I could email the full size image to you.

2. Put your cursor in the blank provided for the upload (where it says your image)
3. Click on the Browse button

6. Now on the Pixentral screen, click on the Send button
7. Once your photo is loaded (you'll see it on the Pixentral screen) scroll down to the bottom of the photo where you'll see two lines of text, one that says HTML and one that says Forum
8. You need to copy all of the text in the box after "Forum"
9. An easy way to select it is to triple click on the text OR drag your mouse all the way from the first character to the last character of the text
10. Once it is selected, press Ctrl-C to copy it
11. Then go to your message on the forum here and paste your link by pressing Ctrl-V

I want to know what to buy to create athletes, high school, portfolios for the 4 years they are with us???

I want to know what software to buy for our high school to create mutli-media portfolio: visual, text, video, stats etc... for each of our high school athletes and store them for their application to colleges/universities. What do I buy??? or want to accomplish this??? or is their not a product for it in Adobe??

I do not think Adobe has such a product.
Contact a friendly school (probably out of your conference) and see what they use. Some football teams, for example, use proprietary systems for game videos.
The only ones I handled were for individual players done as custom processes.
John's point is important: you need to know your final format - I would look for a web based option where you simply provide the college the link, or if you prefer, login credentials to control access.

Final Year University Project - School Automation System

Im going to choose a framework for my Final Year Project. I
actually intended to make a Desktop Application which will have
nothing to do with online stuff. It will be a data aware
application lets suppose a "School Automation System" like records
of students, performance, results, teachers, salaries etc.
Now i have two options only
First to Choose Adobe AIR, as i feel comfortable enough to
work with Adobe Flex and Actionscript 3.
Second Choice is, Java, Which will take extra time for
learning etc.
So i want to ask you guys to suggest me whether Adobe AIR is
suitable for me or not?
I just want to built a data aware application, nothing to do
with hardware interfacing etc.
So do you guys think that Adobe AIR can be used to make a
database application which will have records in GBs?
What kind of limitations are here?

Dude, It is a no brainer at all...stick with Adobe Air which
certainly allows integration with other technologies. Air is hot
and even getting hotter, pretty soon all the INDIAN H1Bs will jump
on this band wagon as well.
AIR is here to stay with capabilities that can not be seen as
visual bells and whistles.. I have been in the industry for longer
than a decade with Java under my belt, but now seeing how Verizon,
At&t, and some other big players are tuning to ADOBE AIR/FLEX.
AIR is the future. Java is good to know, and it wouldn't be
hard to pick Java along the way. You just gotta be patient.

I have been with Verizon since they started in Peoria, IL and yet to this day I don't understand why when my wife goes to work at a high school, dead in the middle of town, she has no service, can't send a text without a huge delay and can't receive phone calls? I can be out of Peoria in the middle of a corn field and I get calls without a problem, yet but within the city no service at Peoria High School or very limited. This causes the phone to drop from LTE and then eats the battery.

Service isn't guaranteed inside of buildings especially buildings filled with steel, concrete and electrical wiring. High School buildings definitely have all three.

Eligibility for Student and Teacher Edition in final year of university

In Student and Teacher edition FAQ it says that "University and college students—students enrolled at a higher education institution defined as an accredited public or private university or college (including community, junior, or vocational college) that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two years of full-time study" are eligible.
I'm in my final year at university of applied sciences in Finland. I've been studying for 4 years. My "standard study period" is over, but I've got one year of "study entitlement time" left. My degree is not completed yet and I will stay a full-time student for next 8 months, using the "maximum study period" time.
I'm unsure about the "two years of full-time study" part of FAQ answer. Could it also mean one has to have at least 2 years worth of studies ahead to be eligible? Or am I right to assume that I can still buy the Student and Teacher Edition as long as I'm a full-time student, no matter how many months of studies left?

Working on Final year project

I am working on final year project. Our project title is "VoIP over 4G"... We are working on developing a VoIP application with different features over android. We will present our project in simulating environment of 4G LTE. We have PXI-1045 for LTE simulations. Now I want to ask question that can we use PXI-1045 for high data transfer of 4G LTE on which we will use our VoIP application??? Two clients will be connected through this device and they will use the application using high data transfer with excellent video quality for video conferencing and other features.
NOTE: we are using this device because 3G, 4G LTE is not available in Pakistan. And we have to complete our project using simulating environment of 4G. If we can do this on this device then help me in ho w I will configure and use PXI-1045 for my project...... THANKS

The chassis is the box that will host your modules (RF signal generator in your case). You will require a generator to be able to generate an LTE signal. If you give me the requirements/specifications of your generation, I can try to suggest one of our RF Vector Signal Generators.

Hey guys, this is my first post on here, I figure if you need help with something go straight for the source :]
So I'm in high school and just finished our Java classes, and I've been looking to get certified. (I've looked at some practice exams and they seem fairly do-able.) And I was curious if anyone here has heard of a high school age job that deals with Java Programming. Any help would be appreciated

nope. Jobs for schoolkids are mainly serving in cheap restaurants and summerjobs in stores filling shelves.
You don't know enough to be of any use to a company doing work requiring typically a university degree and a commitment of a year or more fulltime just to get the training cost back.
