I confirmed I have 14.0.0.145 Flash Player error too, BUT. . .

In response to Mozilla's answer to the individual who posted problems with Adobe Flash Player 14.0.0.145, to reset Firefox to the factory default state is, without question, a band-aid for situations and issues you are unable to remedy. A favored remedy that Mozilla Firefox uses all too frequently. Certainly not an appropriate response for persons who do not want to lose their settings. Moreover, in recent weeks Firefox crashes frequently and that, too, began when v.31.0 was automatically updated! Maybe Firefox "maven techs" should look toward that issue, hmmmm?!

Hi SweetFacz3913,
I would be happy to investigate the crash reports generated from the update experience that you are describing. In order to preserve the data from a reset is to see the Old Firefox Data file that is generated on the desktop, or to make a back up before: [[Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles]]
Instructions for how to copy and paste crash reports:
We're sorry to hear that your Firefox seems to be crashing when you open it. Please perform the following steps to give us a crash report ID that helps us find out more about the cause of the crash.
#Press the following shortcut to get a Run window: [Windows] + [R]. This should bring up a window that contains a text field.
#In that text field, enter %APPDATA% and press Enter. An explorer window should open.
#From that explorer window, double-click on the ''Mozilla'' folder, then double-click on ''Firefox'' and then on ''Crash reports''. Double-click on ''submitted''.
#Now, you should see a list of files that contain reports. Go to ''View'' > ''Arrange Icons by'' > ''Modified'' to get the most recent files at the top of the window.
#Open the most recent 5 files with a text editor and copy the IDs.
#Paste each ID with '''bp-''' into the reply window on the forums.
Thanks in advance!
