Have you tried syncing with your own computer. The one you used to sync the photos to your iPad in the first place?
Do you have a backup of your iPad on your own computer? Or in iCloud?
If your iPad is stuck to the Apple ID and password used by the different laptop have the owner of that laptop remove your device from their iCloud account. They can go to iCloud.com on their laptop, enter their Apple ID and password and then remove your iPad from their account.
Once you sign into your own Apple ID and password and then sign in to your iCloud account, many of your lost items should come back. Specifically these include your Contacts andCalendar entries.

either sync it with itunes and make sure your contacts are selected or choos back up from icloud in your icloud settings.

What do you mean " back up my photos or Apps"?
The photo sync is one way - computer to ipad.
You can transfer itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.

Which photos? If the missing photos were synced to the iPod then you have to get them from where you got them the first time. Synced photos are not in the backup that iTunes makes.

Other than that each of you should use your own Apple ID for iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud, Game Center, etc.

You remove photos that were placed on your computer via an iTunes sync by syncing again. When you sync again, after connecting the phone to iTunes, remove the checkmark in front of "Sync Photos From" on the Photos page of iTunes if you want to remove all previously synced photos or change the selection of folders/albums to be synced if you only want to remove some. I have an HP laptop, windows 7 64-bit OS. I had to open Explorer this AM to download a driver update (for audio on my computer, which instead eliminated the sound on my computer - still trying to fix that). I downloaded an update to DVDSoftVideo yesterday, which seems to sometimes change the taskbar area, even tho I always opt to not download optional toolbars (ASK toolbar for one - even tho I unchecked it, it still shows up now on the toolbar).

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. You should try contacting the app's developer to see if they have some sort of password recovery system.

If devices have been deleted, they will be re-discovered by Windows Vista as soon as you do a restart - when you have restarted, let Windows fully load ( this may take a little longer than usual as drivers for uninstalled devices will have to be reloaded, so give it a good 5 minutes ). Then open Device Manager, click View in the toolbar and select to show hidden devices - any that have not reloaded correctly will have a yellow triangle against them - if you don't see any, then there's nothing to worry about.

If you use the one iTunes account between the two of you then you can both download the ibook onto your iPads - I have some of my ibooks on both my iPad and iPhone. If you decide to have separate iTunes accounts then if you use the same computer's iTunes to sync to (with both accounts authorised on it) then you should be able to sync the book to iBooks on both devices.
If you have separate accounts and sync to separate computers then you can copy the ibooks between the computers via, for example, a flash-drive and add it to the second computer's iTunes (File > Add To Library). How can you manage an icloud account if you are unable to acces the email to reset password

I went to Facetime settings and provided my current Apple Id and password then went to Icloud settings and used my current password on the old account email and it accepted it. Then proceeded to delete old account and then logged in using new account. The same password worked in both accounts. Problem solved, no more annoying pop ups urging me to log in to icloud while using my iphone.
