I connected my iPhone 4S to wifi,but why the wifi signal will disappear whey I lock the screen and when I on the screen it will appear back in 1 second...why?
What problem with that?
When the phone goes into sleep mode (screen locked), after a few seconds of inactivity, the wifi will disconnect. This is by design to help further battery life. Once you wake the phone up, it connects. Nothing wrong with the phone, working like it is supposed to. The only way to wifi connected all of the time is to have the device connected to power.

If you have a backup of your information on your computer, I would suggest putting your phone into recovery mode, by holding down the home key and keeping it held down while you connect it by usb into your computer with itunes running. Keep the home button held down until it indicates recovery mode, and proceed with the restore.

Depends on your carrier and data plan.
With ATT in the US for example, you can FaceTime via ATT's cellular network if you have a shared data plan only. -
I cannot connect to iPhone personal hotspot. What's the problem?
I have connected to iPhone hotspot using wifi and USB cord in the past. My current problem started with my wifi about a month ago. My wifi on my iPhone would not toggle on (grayed out) for about 2 weeks. After rebooting and restarting, I finally had to wipe phone clean and start hardware from new. After powering down several times over the following week, it surprisingly started working again. However, it will continue to go in & out sporadically. My iPad and loptop will recognize my iPhone's wifi, but will not connect. I can connect through USB cord and iPhone shows 1 connection, but laptop will not pick up connection. I have also tried to reentered password. All software is current. What's the problem?

You need to first disable your antivirus and security programs and see if you can load the itunes store then. If so you know its antivirus blocking you.
Secondly due to xmas the itunes store is seeing a HUGE amount of people who got new ipods and/or gift cards. Yes Im sure apple tried to prepare for this but they can only estimate how many extra people they will have. Also SOME ISPs in local areas are limiting access for there costomers to the itunes store to save on overloads on there servers. Far as all this goes (If this is why your not able to connect) it should normalize after new years when people go back to work and school. Seems alot of people post about this issue during peak times which are normally between 8pm and around 10 pm when most people are on -

When I connect my iphone to pc I systematically have the message asking me to associate it to my pc. I do it and then I've always a message saying it is already associated. How can I get rid of this step ?
I tried to break the association and do it again : but it remains the same.

Have brand new iphone 4s. Wifi signal is very weak even when very close to router. I have also an iPod Touch and when both are side by side, the iPod wifi signal is excellent and the iPhone wifi signal is very poor??!!! Hardware issue? or software issue? I was hoping it is just a software issue, but...
Saw may web sites discussing this same issue; many discussions point to hardware problems but there is no official word from Apple about it, which is disapointing !?? Few discussions point to software problem with solutions based on try and error, and they don't seem to work.did not help at all; the problem continues the same

For your issue - Solution may be found if you search in the "More Like This" section over in the right column.
Change your router channel. Sometimes this is all you will have to do.
Power cycling the router. Read the router's user manual or contact their tech support for instructions.
System Preferences/Internet & Network/Network
Unlock the padlock
Locations: Automatic
Highlight Airport
Click the Assist Me button
In the popup window click the Diagnostic button.
System Preferences/Network- Unlock padlock. Highlight Airport. Network Name-select your name. Click on the Advanced button. Airport/Preferred Networks-delete all that is not your network.
Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined." Click the OK button and lock the padlock. Restart your computer.

Check to see if an extra entry is present in the DNS Tab for your wireless connection (System Preferences/Network/Airport/Advanced/DNS).
Delete all extra entries that you find.
Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined."

Try to backup and restore you device in itunes...restoring the device is like removing the iOS software off the device and re-add in a newer software, after you have restore you device, MAKE SURE YOU SET UP YOUR DEVICE LIKE A NEW DEVICE, DONT NOT RESTORE FROM BACKUP!!... give the device a chance to use the newer software and see if the issue still persisting, if the issue still on going then its would be a hardware issue.
Call Apple Care and see if your device is still under warranty to get it replace -
