I connected my iphone but it says unknown error
Can Somebody Help me i download Itunes And I keep plug in my iphone 3gs but its says unknown error help me please?

My daugter was using our Ipad when the battery ran out. Having recharged it adn trying to swotch back on is immediately dosplays teh sysmbol for pluging into ITunes. When doing so the computer says it must restore the Ipad and update it. When doing so it fails, displaying unknown error 28 - looking at more info, it makes little sense other than a possible hgardware fault. This is on an orignal IPad with 3G and the operating system hasn't been updated for a while. Any ideas please. Mike

Itunes cannot connect to iphone because of an unknown error (0xE8000065)
Right after I update iTunes to itune 9. I started update my iphone and it comes up with that message. Does anyone have the same problem?

I'am not 100% sure about your problem, but a few things are needed to know what happened. One, did you hack or jeilbreak your device? If yes then you pretty much got brickwd. If not, then did you try to put your iPod in DFU mode and then restore? (DFU - Power+Home button for 10 seconds HOLD, and then home for another 10 seconds.) Hope this helps, though I'amnot sure about the cause.

Problem not solved but at least I did find the cause. It is iphoto, i am running the last version, but still backup it is not possible.

my iphone 4 i bought was jailbroken to ios 6.0.1 redsn0w but i tried to restore the iphone and now it keeps saying connect to itunes but when i connect and try to restore an "unknown error" occurs and it will not boot up whatsoever. please help!
If you want to solve your problems, unjailbreak. And don't do it again, because jailbreaking causes problems as you read about in that article. You can try Recovery Mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

My iphone 5S is stuck on a screen displaying the itunes symbol and a charging cable. I tried connecting it to itunes and updating it to the new software, and backing it up but it keeps saying unknown error 4005, Also when I first tried backing up my phone on my computer it would begin the processes then half way through it would say IPHONE has been disconnected, now it won't recognize it or anything. what can i do? This is a brand new phone!!!

I was able to locate a support article for the error you mentioned. The following steps may help you get your device back to working order:
iOS: Restore errors 4005, 4013, and 4014 - Apple Support
You may see one of these messages if the device unexpectedly disconnects during the update or restore or iTunes couldn't tell the device to go to the restore state.
The iPhone [device name] could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (4005).

The iPhone [device name] could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (4014).
Try these steps to resolve the issue:
Install the latest version of iTunes.
Restart your computer.
Make sure your computer is up to date. If an update requires a restart, check for updates again after you restart.
Restore using another USB cable.

Learn more about updating Windows.
Restore your device on another computer.
If you continue to see error 4005, 4013, or 4014 when you restore your device,contact Apple for support.

Hi, my iphone 5 encountered an unknown error while updating to iOS 7 via itunes and is now stuck in recovery mode and prompts me to restore the phone when I connect it to itunes but then I would lose all my data. I DO NOT have any back ups on itunes. Is there anyway to get out of recovery mode without restoring or recover data after a restore?
Or any other suggestions please? ThanksAs pdroth said, you should have gotten a backup made when you started the update of iOS. If you cannot find a backup, and the phone is in recovery mode, there are no futher suggestions to make. To get the phone working again you have to restore. You cannot force a backup at this time since it is already in recovery mode. It will not allow anything else but a restore at this point.

My iTunes won't let me connect my iPhone because it says I need an updated iTunes, but when I try to download the new iTunes, it says that my Mac software (10.5.8) is too old. However, there are no software updates available. What can I do?
It depends on what iPhone you have.
If it's an iPhone 4S or earlier, click here.
If it's an iPhone 5, you need to buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD, and that requires an Intel Mac with at least 1GB RAM.

Deauthorizing iTunes on a computer? My laptop won't let me connect my iPhone because it says I'm authorized on too many computers, but when I try to de-authorize another computer I use it won't let me. What's up?
What do you mean it won't let you? What exactly does it say? (Sorry to sound so exasperated but this is like the 6th post in a row where people have made vague statements which do little to help us find solutions without a game of 20 questions.) I'm going to guess and say you can only deauthorize a computer to which you have physical access or VPN login. The alternative is to deauthorize all which you can only do once a year.

Try restarting your iPhone by holding down the on/off and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo. Then make sure you are connect to your wireless network, you should see the rainbow symbol next to your carriers name.

Your iPad is syncd with iTunes on your computer and your iTunes account controls what's in your iPad. Previously it must have been sync'd with another person's iTunes account in which case you need to completely clear it out to make it your own.
Go to Settings > General > Reset (at bottom) > Erase All Content and Settings
Then plug it into your computer and restore it with YOUR iTunes account.
Or if your have an iTunes account already setup under your name with your own apps and media -
Plug it into your computer, open iTunes if it doesn't open automatically and on your iPad page, click Restore
Let it proceed. Then the iPad will no longer be looking for someone else's account. -

New to iTunes and iPhone (3g 8gig black)...
Apple store was unable to activate the phone in the store...
I installed iTunes today 7.7.0.43 and plugged in phone and got the message:

Vista thinks I have a "Digital Still Camera" when i plug it in but the driver for the "Digital Still Camera" fails to install...
I rebooted the computer.
I restarted the iphone (Pushed top button then slide to power off and then pushed again to power on)
I reset the iphone (top and home button for 10-15 seconds till i saw apple logo)
any ideas?
ps - i tried calling 1-800-my-iphone but i was unable to get to a person - is their tech support always that crappy or just today since its launch day?This may not make you feel any better, but it's not you, it's not your new phone, and it's not the way Apple normally works. It is extreme overload for today. I have one of the original iPhones, and today I tried to simply get the new software, and after all the download and firmware updating, I got the same message you did. It had persisted all day, and, I'm sorry to say, is likely to for the rest of the day. I'm on a Mac, so it's not a Vista thing, either. Other people I know who bought the new phone are also experiencing the same thing. Spread the word! Discourage anyone from upgrading today! Or they, too, will be WITHOUT A PHONE!!
