please help me out.....!!!!!!
Thanks LarryHN for replying me I tried that as well but finally I got the solution, I have by mistake deleted one of the iTunes library framework file while removing the virus.
Following steps are done by me to solve the problem:
1) I have removed the iPhoto by dragging it into the trash from applications
2) I have empty the trash
3) I have shutdown the laptop
4) while starting it back, press and hold the command and r button until the apple symbol goes off , after which you can select the reinstall OS option -> that will rebuilt your OS if something has been removed without removing your files or data.
5) after completion, install the iPhotos from app store
Now, its working perfectly

Could not open iPhoto after installing Yosemite.
Could not open iPhoto from dock or launch pad after installing Yosemite. Went into the iPhoto application in applications and clicked on MAC OS and then clicked on iPhoto. iPhoto then opened but when I closed the exec window iPhoto closed.
Could not open iPhoto as a guest user.
Was able to open iPhoto in my account when I went to the application list, right clicked on the iPhoto application then chose Show Package Contents, then clicked on Contents and then clicked on MAC OS which then opened iPhoto.
This is the only way I have been able to open it.

Thanks! The App Store application isn't found in your HD/Applications folder?
What is this 10.6.6 disk image and where did you find it? The App Store started with 10.6.6 but your combo update should have also includedd it. -
I WAS USING IPHOTO AND THE POWER WENT OUT. WHEN I TURNED IMAC BACK ON IPHOTO WOULD NOT OPEN, JUST KEPT ASKING TO RELAUNCH. NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN I RELAUNCH. I TRIED PUTTING THE RECOVERING DISCS IN BUT STILL WON'T OPEN!
It also broke your cap lock. You need to get your keyboard fixed as it makes reading your posts extremely difficult and is considered shouting which is rude
You need to load your back up or make a temp backup and rebuild your library

I can not open I photo. The computer says that the library which is damaged and can not be read.
What must I do?Make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Firefox worked before though at times encountered a problem and had to close. Now I've loaded the newest version and it won't even fully load without having to close. I plugged in the crash item id that HELP forum instructed, and the report said it could not proceed. SO I'm not experienced in any of this and don't know how to make it work. I have to use Explorer until it is fixed. Help please.
Make sure that you haven't left a profiles.ini file.

new update offered for Firefox will not load on my computer after several attempts at different times. The download just keeps attempting to load. Mac Book Pro is my computer, current Firefox running is 5.0
This can happen if you have an incorrect user agent string (identifies the version of Firefox). Some add-ons modify the user agent string causing it to show an old version of Firefox even if you have the latest version installed.
Your user agent string is "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.16) Gecko/20080702 Firefox/2.0.0.16 Mnenhy/0.7.5.666"
It is reporting that you have Firefox 2.0.0.16, but the user agent string may have been locked by the "Mnenhy" add-on
Try resetting the user agent string to see if it resolves the problem. For details of how to do that see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Websites+or+add-ons+incorrectly+report+incompatible+browser -
Please help i could not open my iphoto, mac mini
when click on the icon Iphoto, and could not open..
Before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Basic stuff:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
- Did it ever work properly?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.
With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue.
Posts that consist of "iPhoto doesn't work. Help" or "iPhoto won't print" or "Suddenly I have no photos!!!!!!!!!!" mean that any helper is simply guessing. With information, s/he may be able to get your issue resolved sooner. -

[Re: Can't access MMC; -
I created a dll using VC++ to open/read MS Access Database file. The dll works when running outside TestStand, When I used the dll in TestStand, the MS Acces Database file could not open.
To Steve1 -
Some questions that come to mind to help with solving this are:
1) Are you using any ActiveX control components to assist you in accessing the database?
2) Are you using ADO or DAO or ODBC to access your data?
3) When you called the DLL successfully outside of TestStand, what was the OI written in?
4) Since you own the source code, what is the error or exception that is thrown and on what ADO or DAO function call does it fail?

PDF won't open on Mac with Adobe Reader Error message:Adobe Reader could not open
I have Adobe Reader 10.1.3 for Mac, (10.7.3) and am having problems opening pdfs. I get an error message: Adobe Reader could not open file name.pdf because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). The files are not from emails, but are from websites, government sites, professional organizations etc.) Help! Adobe is no help!
Manually download the files to your computer (right-click on the url). When the file is downloaded to your computer do you get the same message when you try to open in Reader through the File->Open menu? What about when you open the file in Mac's Preview application?

Adobe Reader could not open 'images rest 12-4.jpg' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
that is the message how do i correct this problemIt sounds like your file associations are messed up and Reader is trying to open your .jpg files. Is this correct?
If so, you just need to change the associations to choose what application opens them. Here's how: Change File Associations in Mac OS X -
