Having your device read your text replies is a neat feature. On your device you can enable voice readouts by navigating to Settings>Accessibility>Check Accessibility and Voice Readouts. However, this feature will enable the device to read every action the phone participates in. You can speak your responses by pressing the speaker icon on the virtual keyboard in the text application, but in order to have your device read the text replies you receive and only that feature you may look into downloading a 3rd party application to assist you such as Handcent. Please keep in mind Verizon Wireless does not support 3rd party applications and if you download an application this is at your discretion. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. This response is a little late as I just read about your problem. I have a 2012 Dodge Charger and a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country and both worked flawlessly with the iPhone 5s my wife and I had. However, we just upgraded to the iPhone 6 and Uconnect will receive calls but you cannot answer them. You can callout successfully, however. the annoyance being the inability to answer incoming calls in the HandsFree mode.

Display image issues
This can include bright or dark pixels, lines in video, or sections of video missing.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Verify the issue is not content related, by viewing different content.
If the image is too dark, adjust the brightness. In General Settings choose Brightness and Wallpaperand slide the slider.
My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?

Hopefully, you use a passcode to unlock your lock screen. It is that passcode that is required to update IOS. See Settings > Passcode.

I recently installed vista to my mac (32bit). My headphones are not working on it. I could not find the "3.5mm jack" that apple suggests to "solve" this issue. And I have tried installing/uninstalling audio drivers. Can anyone help?
you don't need several drivers, you just need the audio driver for your Mac, which you didn't list, but would be Cirrus or RealTek.
Along with uninstalling programs, go to Dev Manager and uninstall driver, or even rollback driver.
some people have trouble installing or finding driver that will install. -
This happens on and off and if the scan like bar is into going across then the small box is going around each place like around the longin bottom then the next thing after that. Virus=no. There are no known viruses that affect iOS devices.
I cannot picture what you are describing
Try a reset by holding the power and home keys down until the Apple logo appears. If the problem continues, take it in for diagnosis.

It seems to have finally been fixed in firefox 22 (or 21). I'd love to know what the original cause of the problem was and whether it was fixed by firefox or OS XI dont think any bugs were filed like this, likely something Apple fixed.

My touch screen on my ipod Nano, Gen 6 has gone completely white. It had started going white the day before. I tried resetting it but to no avail. Does anyone know how I could fix this. Also I have 2 other ipods that I am no longer able to sync. It comes up with a message (best I can remember) something to the effect that my itunes version is not compatible with my ipod. Please help. I'm tired of buying new ipods when the new hasn't even worn off of them!!!

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

HI i recently purchased a macbook pro to replace my old laptop running windows.
the problem i have is i have a LG SMART 3D TV which i was running nero media home 4 on from my old laptop, i have tried to install this program on my macbook but is it not compatible.

There are a few other possible causes of generalized slow performance that you can rule out easily.
Reset the System Management Controller.
If you have many image or video files on the Desktop with preview icons, move them to another folder.
If applicable, uncheck all boxes in the iCloud preference pane.
Disconnect all non-essential wired peripherals and remove aftermarket expansion cards, if any.
Check your keychains in Keychain Access for excessively duplicated items.
If you have more than one user account, you must be logged in as an administrator to carry out this step.
Launch the Console application in the same way you launched Activity Monitor. Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Select the 50 or so most recent entries in the log. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V). You're looking for entries at the end of the log, not at the beginning.

My apple keyboard had some problems, the store replaced it for me. I had to sign in to my computer, and couldn't get to pair the keyboard with the computer, as could not sign in. I know there is a command that lets you override this, does anyone know which buttons to press. I gather when you do this, a box comes up and pairs the two with a number you have to type in.

I have almost 1200 contacts in my Outlook, all of which were assigned to a Category, so I could look people up by that Category. Almost 900 of the Category assignments are now blank. I am a recent iPhone user. When I had my BlackBerry, you could see or assign the Category in each contact. I don't see that when I go to "edit" in a contact. I don't want to go through all my contacts and reassign the Category, and then have them wiped out again. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I'm not affiliated w/ the developer, just a happy user that gave up fighting the apple podcast app a while ago. I used to have a bunch of smart playlists in itunes for my podcasts, and come home every day and pathologically synced my phone as soon as I walked in the door, and again before I walked out the door in the morning.
Since my wife was doing this too, we were fighting over who's turn it was to sync their phone.
Since I've switched to Downcast, I no longer worry about syncing my phone to itunes at all. I can go weeks between syncs.
Setup a "playlist" in downcast (ex., "Commute") and add podcasts to that playlist. Add another playlist ("walk" or "workout") and add different podcasts to that one.
Set podcast priorities on a per-feed basis (ex., high priority for some daily news feeds, medium priority for some favorite podcasts, lower priority for other stuff). Downcast will play the things in the priority you specify, and within that priority, it will play in date order (oldest to newest).
Allegedly, it will also sync your play status to other devices, although that is not a feature I currently use and can't vouch for. It uses apple's iCloud APIs, so to some extent may be limited by what Apple's APIs can do. -
