I cracked my ipod and it showed the inside and i spilled water in that part
so at first the screen was buzzing, and i heard that if u turn it off, u can fix it more easily, so i turned it off, but then it wont come back on. the cracked parts were upper right corner and down left corner.

i made the update for IOS 6 with the latest version of iTunes and it downloaded the latest version of IOs 6 after that, when it was trying to intall the update it gave me an error ( error (6) ) , now my iPhone is in the stage where it shows me a cable and the itunes logo. what can i do to fix it ?

I bought a used ipod touch and my computer recognizes the camera, but it doesn't show the ipod connected? The screen on the ipod shows the cord with an arrow pointing to itunes logo and thats it?
Then you have not entered Recovery Mode...
Try again... Take your time... Pay particular attention to Steps 3 and 4.

I have problems to get my Laser Jet 5L running properly under 10.5.8. I prints the first page/document and then it says1,36 % printed than printing but nothing happens. Under 10.4.11 everything works fine, sometimes I have to get the print jobs running again,but then it works.
I have the Laser Jet 5L connected via USB to parallel.
I am running a PowerBook G4 1,67 GHz and 2 GByte RAM.

iTunes shows the music and audiobooks I've loaded to my iPod Touch, but they do not show up when I try to play them. I reconnect to iTunes and it shows the music and books as being loaded on my iPod.
Sometimes the audiobook will play, then disappear from iPod's play menu after I reconnect to iTunes and load more music. I've got plenty of free memory, and iTunes shows the files still on iPod.

I can see the public network and it show the the conected bars at the top, but it doesn't prompt me to the main page to log in
I tried that, I am staying at a hotel and it shows the network and it shows the conectivity bar at the top, generally it sends me to the main wifi page and asks me to type a password... but it doesn't even send me to that page at all, I did a network reset and still not working

thats tough man, yeah exchanging it is the best option. But why do people always leave a message saying" i'll probably just by an ipod" and it's usually followed by, "even though i don't like apple or ipod" . My classic video ipod won't switch back to regular video mode after using it on an elliptical. The port still allows me to charge and works on the elliptical and treadmill but it will no longer change modes to allow me to watch my shows on the ipod screen
From the iPod's Main Menu choose Videos -> Settings and make sure TV Out is set to Off.
Otherwise, try a hard reset as well. To do this, press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

You cannot update it if you can't get the latest version of iTunes. Actually, the latest version of iTunes will run in XP if you have Service Pack 2. Also, you posted in the iPad forum, and your profile shows you have an iPad, but in your post, you say it is an iPod. Is it an iPad or an iPod?

Need help fast!- I suspect that he went to Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings. For 1G or 2G iPod that can take hours and it will likely stall out if not connected to a charging source.
Try the following:
- A reset.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- The connect to computer and try to restore via iTunes.
- Id something is still showing onthe screen, disconnect from computer/charging source and let the battery fully drain. After charging for an hour, Try the reset and restore.
- If you can turn the iPod off, se if placing the iPod in recovery mode and then restore. For recovey mode:

My ipod touch will not charge or register in itunes. It keeps turning off and then shows the apple logo. I have tried holding down the button and plugging it in. It will show the red battery for a second and then turn off? Any other suggestions?
I have checked for problems with the connections, but from what i can see with the naked eye, nothing appears abnormal. It is very strange, and very sudden. It just stopped in the middle of a charge. The apple store is my next step. I just wanted to see if anyone on here had some extremely eye-opening solution or check. thanks though!
