I created a form in formcreator but i need to make edits in adobe professional.

can i save the form as a pdf, print it to pdf, save the file as something else or import part of the file?

If you have Acrobat XI you can use the FormsCentral desktop application that comes with Acrobat to save your forms as PDF.
If you do not have Acrobat XI you will need to have a paid subscription to FormsCentral to be able to create PDF from your FormsCentral forms.
Once you create a PDF in FormsCentral you can modify it in Adobe Acrobat but you will first need to remove the Reader Extension added to the PDF by FormsCentral by opening your PDF form in Acrobat and do File > Save a Copy... You will be able to modify the copy in Acrobat. After you are done with your modifications you might want to save your new form by doing File > Save as Other... > Reder Extended PDF > Enable More Tools (includes form fill-in & save)... which will allow people with Adobe Reader to fill-in your form and save a copy on their machine.
Hope this helps

After creating a form, how do I download it for further editing with Adobe Professional XI?

This is probably a new precaution that Apple has taken to alert folks that something has occurred with their account that has not occurred before*, namely a Mac has downloaded something from their account that has not done so before. And as the notice says, if it was you doing so, then you may safely ignore the notice. Also, do not be alarmed, Apple refers to all downloads as purchases, even when they are free.
But if you are truly concerned about the notice then you can authorize the Mac with your iTunes account, which should be the same as your MAS account. Open iTunes on the older Mac and sign into your account. Then in the Store menu choose Authorize This Computer. Now this Mac is definitely associated with your account and can now play media that you purchase from the iTunes Store as well.
*My banks do the same thing when I pop up making a purchase with my bank cards somewhere in the world I have never made a purchase before. They call me and email me and want to know if it is indeed me using the card.

    Hi AnnaLewis87 ,
Please go to the distribute section while the form is opened in design mode and you can download it as PDF from there.

  • I already have an account but i need to make a resuce email..how do i make a rescue email and reset my security answers. I can't remember my security question answers!!

I need help!! My I-tunes won't let me buy any more songs until I confirm that my account..is well..MY ACCOUNT! I can't remeber my security question answers, how do I reset them!? I also need to make a rescue email, i didn't make one when i first made my account, so how do i make it now!? PLEASE HELP ME!

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of doing so include clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
Creating a rescue email requires correctly answering two of the questions.

  • Created a form in LS but it will only open in most recent version of Acrobat Reader

I've tried opening the PDF form created in LiveCycle into my full professional version of Acrobat and then saving as an optimized version but I get this error....
"This PDF document contains an Adobe XML form.  Such files cannot be optimized."
There has to be a work around for this.  I can't send the form to my client (who paid me to create it) - if he can't even open it up.  He also can't use it for his clients if they are all expected to upgrade their version of acrobat.
    Please help!!

I was just going to point you there. I would set it to 8.1, that's what we do with all our forms. Check what version your client is using.
At some point people do need to upgrade and the software is free. Version 8 is quite old now. And there were a lot of changes between version 6 and 8.
Check the Warnings log (Window > Report) to make sure things are compatible, it will tell you if you've used features that won't work with your target version.

  • List data validation failed when creating a new list item but does not fail when editing an existing item

    Dear SharePoint Experts,
    Please help.
Why does my simple formula work in Excel but not-work in SharePoint?
    Why does this formula...
    =IF([Request Type]="Review",(IF(ISBLANK([Request Date]),FALSE,TRUE)),TRUE)
...work in Excel but fail when I try to use it in SharePoint?
The intent of this formula is the following...
If the field "Request Type" has the value "Review" and the field "Request Data" is blank then show FALSE, otherwise show TRUE.
SharePoint saves the formula, but when a list item is saved where the formula is implemented, (under List Settings, List Validation), SharePoint does not, say anything other than that the formula failed.
Note that the "list data validation failed" error only happens when I am creating a new item-- the formula above works just fine when one is trying to Save on the edit form.
    Can you help?
    Thanks.
    -- Mark Kamoski

    Dear Jason,
    I appreciate your efforts.
However, it seems to me that this statement of yours is not correct...
"If it meet the validation formula, then you can new or edit the item, otherwise, it will throw the 'list data validation failed' error, it is by design".
I believe this is NOT the answer for the following reasons.
When I create a new item and click Save, the validation error is "list data validation failed".
When I edit an existing item and click Save, the validation error is "my custom error message" and this is, I believe, the way it needs to work each time.
I think, at the core, the error my formula does not handle some condition of null or blank or other default value.
I tried a forumla that casts the date back to a string, and then checked the string for a default value, but that did not work.
I tried looking up the Correlation ID in the ULS when "list data validation failed" occurs, but that gave no useful information because, even though logging was set to Verbose, the stack trace in the error log was truncated and did not given any
    good details.
However, it seems to me that SharePoint 2013 is not well-suited for complex validation rules, because...
SharePoint 2013 list-level validation (NOT column-level validation) allows only 1 input for all the multi-field validation formulas in a given list-- so, if I had more than 1 multi-field validation rule to implement on a given list, it would need to be packed
into that single-line-of-code forumla style, like Excel does. That is not practice to write, debug, or maintain.
SharePoint 2013 list-level validation only allows 1 block of text for all such multi-field validation rules. So that will not work because I would have something like "Validation failed for one or more of the following reasons-- withdrawal cannot exceed
available balance, date-of-birth cannot be after date-of-death,... etc". That will not work for me.
The real and awesome solution would simply be enhancing SP 2013 so that column-level validation forumlas are able to reference other columns.
But, for now, my workaround solution is to use JavaScript and jQuery, hook the onclick handler on the Save button, and that works good. The only problem, is that the jQuery validation rules run before any of the column-level rules created  with OOTB
SP 2013. So, in some cases, there is an extra click for the enduser.
    Thanks,
    Mark Kamoski

  • A font package is requried to correctly display after creating interactive form in livecycle

SO I created a form in acrobat. When I save it, and open it in reader, it opens it fine. But I need to make the fields expandable, so I go to livecycle, and create an interactive form with flowable layout. Once i save it, and open it in reader, it instructs me to download chinese font package. There are no chinese fonts in this document. And I only get this message after saving the form in LiveCycle.  Any ideas?  It just started happening last week. Never had a problem before that.

Hey buddy, I experienced similar problem.
When you creating the form, make sure the font you are selecting is a popular font. For example, if you change it to New Time Roman instead of SimSun, it will work.
    Try it!

  • Forms created with Adobe Professional 10 can't be printed

    Hi,
For some reason I have the problem that I have several forms and I want my clients to fill those out. The forms were created in Adobe Professional 9, and later created with the Adobe Professional 10 or actually with Adobe LiveCycle Designer. The forms were created in Word and adapted in livecycle designer.
On my computer I as well have Adobe Reader 7. The forms are then sent from the customer back to me, but I can not print them using Adobe Professional 10, But there is the possibility to open the forms with Adobe Reader 7 and print it which works just fine.
Now, the customer has to print out some forms on their own to sign them and send them back to us. As far as I am informed the customer has Adobe Reader 8 or 9, depending on the the department they work in.
About a solution I would be very grateful.
    Thanks in
    advance!

The forms are then sent from the customer back to me, but I can not print them using Adobe Professional 10,
What happens when you print the forms?

  • Help creating a form in Dreamweaver CS3

Hello, I am trying to insert a form in order for people to
fill out their info, submit (and a re-set button for info if
needed), and for the form to go to a specific email address.
I have the table created (i just copied and pasted from a
    sample online)
How can i create this? I am pretty new at this :)
I am attaching the code to what i copied and pasted.
    Please help, thanks!!

You can make a form in DW but you need a server-side script
    to process the
information for you. Suggest you look at one of the
    formmail.php scripts.
Dont bother with anything old like formmail.cgi.
    http://www.dtheatre.com/scripts/formmail.php
    for example.

Okay, I loaded the page under a different name http://abilityaxis.com/test.html. Viewing the source code doesn't show the yellow.
For demonstration purposes I copied a small amount of the text and changed the colour of what is yellow in Dreamweaver to this pinkish colour (I tried yellow but you couldn't read it)

I created a form with Single Choice fields, 4 days with times listed. But, I want the user to only be able to choose one time, and the time chosen to be unavailable for other users. How do I do this? I have 4 blocks of Single Choice fields in order for the summary page to give me each day in the final report. But, I need the user to be able to make a selection of any day and time and that apointment to no longer be available to future users when they log in. Plus, when the user clicks on the time, they are unable to change their mind and choose another time. I'm afraid not.    It's not rocket science but you need to do some coding.
You'll need to find a script (php) and save it to your local site folder.  Then reference the script in your form's action attribute like so.
         <form action="path/form-to-email-script.php" >
The input fields in your HTML form need to exactly match the script variables.
I'm  assuming you're hosted on a Linux server which uses PHP code.  Linux servers are also case sensitive, so upper case names are not the same as lower case names.  It's usually best to use all lower case names in your form and script to avoid confusion.

    Hi,
You may open the original form in FormsCentral and toggle to “Page View” at the lower right corner. Adjust the page content to make sure no page breaks in this view.
