I currently have the iOS 7 on my iPhone 4 and the new 7.0.2 update is stuck and will not download. Any suggestions?

I have downloaded the new iOS 7 and now the 7.0.2 update is trying to download and is stuck at 1 minute. I have powered off the device and soft reset and still cannot get the download to complete.

7.0.2 is only for the iPhone 5

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
That will re download and install the App Store for you which may help.
It's ok to install the combo even though you are already running v10.6.8
Restart your Mac after combo is installed, try downloading apps.
Note... if you have Little Snitch installed that will prevent downloads. If you have anti virus software installed, disable that and turn off the Firewall in System Prefereces > Security.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

QuickTime version 2 is almost 20 years old and will not install on a modern machine.
You may be able to manually seach the CD to find the video content and it may be viewable in QuickTime Player 7.

I have a 2nd gen ipad. Since the latest ios update my ipad will not charge when hooked up to my computer running windows 7 and even though it shows that it syncs in Itunes, it will not download any apps. It just seems to skip that part.

I went to the apple store and they hooked up my ipad to a mac and it showed that it was charging and that apps would download. My ipones, touches, and ipods are not having any problems, just this ipad. It seems to be since I updated to the new ios. You can't even do a restore on it because it doesn't recognize it. It acts like it is communicating with it but it doesn't download anything and won't charge when it's hooked up to the USB port. THe Apple store says there is nothing wrong with this ipad which is about 6 mths old. So what now?

It could be you are approaching it incorrectly.   It can be a tricky little gadget that actually works with minimal pressure.
Try turning over the mouse so the compartment panel faces you, optical sensor topmost. Then holding the mouse at each side but not on the panel itself, flick the small, black rectangular panel downwards.   The top of the panel should spring out, though it may require you to manipulate it fully away from the mouse.
Once you have replaced the batteries, starting at the bottom reverse the procedure then clip into place.   Remember to move the small switch next to the optical sensor upwards which should turn on the green light.   Then click twice to connect.

Two fold question: My music library will not sync, any suggestions? The settings I choose for syncing on the summary screen will not save, suggestions?

I have the new iPhone 6 Plus. I have all the new operating systems. Since I received the phone I have been having problems syncing. I have it set to sync over WiFi. Obviously I have tried doing a hard sync with the phone attached too. However, overtime I tell it to sync, it looks like it is transferring all 4111 songs but then when it gets done doing it's thing it reverts back to what it was when I plugged it in which is only 2000 songs. I am so confused never in my history of Apple products have I had so much trouble. Can anyone help?
My second problem, why won't my settings save? In troubleshooting this problem I turned off syncing over WiFi and switched it to manual. When I plugged the phone in it reverted back to syncing over WiFi. That would normally not happen, the settings you choose stay until you change them. I need some serious help. Suggestions please?

After days of getting frustrated I finally found a solution: Don't use itunes to sync music. After going through pages of possible solutions (restores, syncing albums one at a time, removing all music, deactivating accounts, making a call while syncing and various other things) as well as trying to contact apple support (Which was a joke--They wanted to charge me $19.00 to get help for a problem with their software), I change my Google search terms to "how to sync music without itunes" and I found a program called CopyTrans Manager for free. It only took me a few minutes to add the new tracks to my iphone. It automatically organizes it the same way itunes would and you have the option to make your own playlists. Best of all it synced the first try! Itunes is now dead to me. Now I just have to figure out what I'm going to do with all the free time I have since I'm not going to be spending hours banging my head at my computer ready to throw my phone out the window.

You need to install the Suite software thru the Suite itself. If you only get a partial download of the Suite then try again. Make sure you have cookies enabled and clear your cache. If it continues to fail try using a different browser.

the feature you are trying to use is on a cd-rom or other removable disk that is not available insert disc.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

Just updated the new software now the backup will not install, any suggestions?

I just updated to the the latest software iTunes did a backup that said it was succesfull. Now, when I'm trying to sync and install the backup it says it is has encountered an error and the install was not successfull.
Any suggestions on how I can do this or do I have to start it over as a new iTouch?

I would try placing the iPod in recovery mode and then try restoring from backup. If not successful than, as you said, I would restore to factory dfaults/new iPod. For recovery mode see:
