I'd like my Bookmarks to view on the left side of page (as they used to) and I can't find how to do that. Is this possible and why have they moved?
Bookmarks are now on the right side of my browser window and I'd like to put them back on the left side. Please help.
They moved after I installed Marginize. Removing Marginize moved it back.

This spring we changed from IE to Mozilla after upgrading to Win 7. Everything has been fine with Firefox until yesterday when it crashed when I attempted to open an email. Since then the bookmarks (or favorites as my husband calls them) have not been in their usual place which was along the left side of the page. They are located in the Bookmarks bar at the top of the page but husband prefers the old IE way which we had until yesterday PM. Is there any way that we can get them back to the left side of the page other than going back to IE? Now that I have gotten used to Firefox I like it just fine.

Whenever I opened Firefox Start Page, all my bookmarks were displayed on the left side. I accidently hit something, and now all my bookmarks are gone.
Firefox has a Bookmarks Sidebar you can open and close using Ctrl+b. That's pretty easy to hit if you're trying to bold something, but if a website doesn't intercept it, then it affects your sidebar.

Why did my bookmarks icon disappear and why is my bookmarks menu suddenly on the left side?
Recently, Firefox updated to 23.0.1 (beta?) and once the browser was back up, I noticed that my bookmark icon (the star) was gone. I fixed the problem easily enough by setting it back up to where it originally was. Now my problem is that when I click the icon, my menu appears on the left side of the screen rather than the right as it did previously before the update. I downgraded to 22 and that didn't fix the problem. I would really like for the menu to be back on the right side, as the left is just frustrating me. I did not find any quick fix in the customization menu, or in safe mode. Can anyone help me out?

On earlier versions of Windows and Firefox I could have my internet bookmarks listed down the left side of my Firefox window.
All I seem to be able to do now is to click on the Firefox tab on the very top left of the screen and select Bookmarks/unsorted bookmarks to get a list but it isn't on my Firefox screen permanentlyAdding to Tylerdowner, after you have pressed '''Ctrl+B''' and the bookmark window appears on the left side, make sure it is open at the time you exit from Firefox. How do I pin the bookmark sidebar to the left side of my screen? My bookmark sidebar (vertical on the left side of the screen) is gone. When this would happen in the past I wold F10 and then select to view (or pin...can't remember the wording of the command) the sidebar. It was always visible with my bookmarks sorted. Now that sidebar is gone and I can't figure out how to add it back. HELP!

I don't know what I can add. The bookmarks list is on the left side of the screen and crowds everything else to the right so that I can't read it. I've tried everything I can think of to move it or get rid of it.

Not had this problem before but as of this morning I cannot get my bookmarks to stay on the left side of my pages ALWAYS, (much easier!) I thought you could use ctrl/shift/B and it's not working, just bringing up the bookmarks page of options. I just want to pin my bookmarks to the left side of the pages at all times for easy access.
Press the "CTRL" and the "B" buttons at the same time.
No "shift" button is needed.

macbook pro mid2012 i7 (here is my e-mail adress : [email protected])You should take it to an Apple store or an AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) Carefully inspect the hinge joint and make sure there is no debris that you can see, you can try carefully sliding some sticky tape thru the joint to clear any loose stuff out. But this sounds like there might be more going on here, and the hinge is something that you do not want to fool with.

I am receiving the error code (-50) when trying to access the itunes store. The original itune songs etc were installed on a win 7 32 bit system and I have now moved to a win 7 64 bit system (same PC) and have copied the folder across. Has the switch from 32 to 64 bit caused the problem? Is this why I get the error code? I can, however, access the itunes store to view my account. Any ideas please?
