I'd like to turn off the song changing attribute?

When I'm listening to my IPod and I'm doing anything with large movement involved (skiing, mowing, etc), the song changes if I move my arm or body too much. Is there some way to turn this attribute off?

Turn off shake to shuffle. From the Users Guide:
You can turn Shake to Shuffle on or off in Settings > Music (it’s on by default). See
“Music” on page 167.

Are you asking about turning off the data code (date/time) during playback? If yes, look on page 147 of the manual for instructions on how to turn it off during playback. Link to Canon Vixia HF G30 manual.

IOS4 & iPhone 3G: Single Song Repeat turning off on song change.

After my update from iPhone OS3 to iOS4 on my iPhone 3G I noticed that single song repeat is turned off when I change songs or go to the next song.
This can be repeated by the following steps:
1. Play a song
2. Choose single song repeat
3. Push "next song"
... notice that now single song repeat is playlist repeat.
Alternately
1. Play a song
2. Choose single song repeat
3. Go back and select a different song.
... single song repeat is now playlist repeat.
Is this the new functionality or a bug?

same here! it's really annoying me, I keep all my songs on single repeat...

I don't believe the auto correct feature is turned off after 3x crossing it out in the autocorrect box. I constantly abbreviate "with" as "w/" and it always auto corrects me to an "a" without the slash. This has happened probably 20 times so my iPhone isn't learning anything from me. I have many other examples and am also frustrated with this feature. But, I am getting used to using the x box on the auto correct now.

Turning off the ringer & Changing the home button

When my phone rings and I don't want to answer it for whatever reason, I intuitively press the home button to try and send the call into voice mail (and therefore also stop the ringing). However, the voice control setting comes up.
1. How do you quickly and easily send the phone into voice mail and/or stop the ringing? (I don't want to have to change the volume in Settings every time I go in a meeting).
2. How do you change the functionality of the home button so that it doesn't go to voice control? There are many other things I would like to do via that button - e.g. send call to voice mail, go to internet - rather than activate voice control (which I don't even use).

1. The stop the phone from ringing press the volume button during the ringing. The phone will still be ringing to the caller and it will put them through to your voicemail after a set number of rings as normal.
2. You cannot change the functionality of the home button.

Can I turn off the wireless on my Time capsule? Could I then use it as an XHD backup on a different wifi router network?

I would like to turn off the wifi on my Time Capsule, use another, more powerful router, but still use the TC as an XHD for backing up my files. Is this possible? thanks.

The TC is now and always a network drive.. but there is no reason you cannot turn off wifi in the TC and use it plugged into another router. The only thing I would say is that using the TC wireless can still be worthwhile.. if you can get it close enough to the computer, then either ethernet or TC wireless will prevent the backups from slowing your network..
If you are going to use it on only a single computer, you can plug it in by ethernet and setup as a secondary network.. but IMHO you may as well buy a USB drive and be done with it. The external drive is faster and more reliable for backups than the network drive.

Turn off the iTunes-voice

my son just installed iTunes.
It is working ok but we would like to turn off the annoying voice that is presenting the name of the band and the albumname - is that possible?

iTunes has no such feature. If your system is speaking the name of the band and album, it's some other software that's doing it, possible a feature of Windows such as Narrator. You'll need to identify what is indeed speaking and turn that off.
