I'd like to watch some videos, but can't...

i've posted this under another discussion, and am posting here, so there's more of a probability of getting an answer.....
well, it seems that itunes which stuck. not frozen. stuck.
i purchased 4 tv shows, stepped away from my computer, came back 10 minutes later and find that itunes is stuck on downloading "3 out of 4" of those purchased shows. (that status bar is really just stuck halfway, telling me i'm about 50% done with my download, and is just STARTING to download my 3rd video.) i see that the first two purchased videos are fine and view-able, but i can't get my final two. i've restarted the comp, i've "checked for purchases" under "advanced". and everytime i just attempt at it, itunes SAYS it's downloading the video, but there's no progression. just... stuck.
someone, please help!
tell me what's wrong, and tell me how to fix it!
oh yeah, just in case if this should be considered in a reply, the money is fine on my account, and there's more than enough space on my computer, so i don't see why it's not progressing....

Which exact videos? You might need to contact iTMS.

Maybe tell it to download to a different folder, just for a test....make a c:video folder. Go into iTunes > Edit > Preferences > Advanced > General > itunes music folder location
Hit the change button and point it to the new C:/video folder.
You can easily reset it back to whatever location after you are finished with this test.

We took 3 video cassette 8mm that were recorded in the early 90's to a place that burned the videos onto 3 DVDs. When inserted to our Mac, the DVD player comes on to play the DVD. Opened Quicktime, but can find no way to import. Went to File>Open File>Sony_DVD_Recorder_Volume. Clicked on Sony_DVD-Recorder_Volume and it shows a file named VIDEO_TS. Clicked on that and 6 files showed VIDEO_TS.BUP, VTS_01-0.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO, VTS-01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, VTS_01_3.VOB. Where is DVDxDV?

Unable to open or watch some projects but can watch others

I am in the middle of making a movie but for some reason, iMovie will not play or allow me to edit the project. it will open another project but not these other two. also the playback will not work, on any of the three movies. PLEASE HELP D:

Have we determined if the program was installed to the default location Local Disk C?
Have we ruled out any antivirus and firewall(s) as well as other security program issues in this matter, and
you are not working in a school or company network? If we get down to last resort, we might consider uninstalling
the antivirus instead of disabling Real Time Protection.
More ways to go on this.
1. You might consider the solutions suggested for 12 which would not open.

2. You say that you have done the uninstall/reinstall with no solution to the problem.
When you did this, did you go through
a. uninstall the usual control panel route
b. free ccleaner run through to get rid of leftovers from uninstalls/reinstalls
c. reinstall with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled.
3. Create a new user account with administrative privileges and install and try to open Premiere Elements 11 on that.
4. Download and install tryout files for 11 from the following web site, insert your purchased serial number in them during
installation.

To avoid an Access Denied message be sure to follow the web site's "Note: Very Important Instructions".

Try loading the same video in different browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Internet Explorer are your best options). If the issue is across all of them, make sure you've downloaded the latest version of Flash at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
If it's still stopping after that...Do the tried and tested method for everything: reset your router.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account. Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select Help from the menu bar, and enter “Set up a guest account” (without the quotes) in the search box. Don't use the Safari-only Guest login created by "Find My Mac."
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.

After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.

Import the videos into iTunes on your computer and use Home Sharing to stream the videos to the iPad. These should get you started.

If running iOS 5.0 or later, on your phone, and the latest version of iTunes, you can re-download your purchased content anytime you want. So, if this music was obtained through iTunes, delete whatever you want. On your phone, swipe left-to-right across the song/album, hit the delete button. You can re-download whenever you like. If the music was ripped from CD's, you can still delete directly on your phone, then sync it back to your phone(it will remain in your iTunes library). Or, you can use iTunes Match & re-download to your phone anytime you want.

You can't re-download it after it has expired (if that's the case).
You could try to contact support, and you MAY get an exception...

In the iPhone backup. Right click on the phone in iTunes and choose "Restore from Backup".

Whenever I would try to watch a video posted by someone on Facebook, nothing would happen when I pressed the 'play' button. With Internet Explorer, however, the video would play normally.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
