The iPhone under normal circumstances does not store contacts on the SIM Card. It can read them, but again under normal circumstances does not write them to the SIM Card.
When you sync your new iPhone to iTunes on your usual computer you can restore from a Back-Up of your old iPhone to get Contacts and other data and files installed on your new iPhone.

Sorry but Forgot passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support covers all of the methods. Any chance that you had it set to automatically back up to iCloud and/or sync contacts to iCloud?
You can check on whether the contacts were synced by logging in to https://www.icloud.com/ and looking at the Contacts app there.
The "Delete Backups and turn off backups from your device" in the following link describes how you can use a computer to see if there is an iCloud backup of your phone. Follow those instructions to the point of seeing if the backup is listed but obviously you don't follow the rest of the instructions on how to delete. Manage your iCloud storage - Apple Support -
Has anyone else had a problem with their nano sim slot bending snapping or breaking when they put their sim in!? I have had to order a replacement and only had the phone 5hours!

That makes less sense as the sim tray a fairly stiff metal and should be pulled straight out once released. You didn't answer the question about where is was bought. Is is a real iPhone? -

You might not have enough space on your phone.
Look on iTunes and see how much space the photos you copied over is consuming. -

Just back it up to your computer using iTunes By connecting it to your compute, launching iTunes, then going to File>Devices>Back Up (transfer purchases of prompted). Then restore the iTunes backup to your new phone.

Is the store that you bought the card from nearby so that you can try going back and asking if they can activate the card properly ? The order in which the tracks are displayed depends on the column selected in list view. Select the album column to display tracks in album order.

I downloaded a ringdown direct from itunes to my iphone 4S. When I go to settings/sounds/ringtone, the new ringtone is not there! I have downloaded it twice, but still not there. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

I just switched on icloud back on my iphone. My iphone 4S is not getting unlocked now. Msg is as follows " Not Enough Storage" 'This iphone cannot be backed up because there is not enough icloud storage available. You can manage your storage in settings.' not able to unlock my phone now.
Reset it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release.
