I deleted an album off my itunes, but it remains on my iphone. help please?
I have a few albums that I purchased that I no longer want at all. I deleted them from my itunes on my PC, but they won't delete off my iphone, even after syncing it with my library. I also cannot delete them manually from the music app. Its getting pretty annoying since they continue to play when shuffling and I can't seem to get rid of them. I can't figure out if it is a itunes thing or an iphone thing. Help please!
If they were synced with iTunes, then you will have to unsync them by unchecking the albums in question when you sync next time.

Thank you for trying to help. I followed your instructions, it took 6 hours to download, and then said it could not solve the problem (something to do with error 9?). It will have to go back to Apple - its only 3 days since it came out of the package and its very disappointing for him. Looks like I have to hang around in the Apple store in Plymouth all tomorrow until they can fix it, or will change it. Thanks for your help.

I recently deleted two albums off of my phone using itunes, but when i went back onto my phone, they were still there and playable. they are not songs that I have purchased via itunes so can someone please help me figure out what is wrong so that i can fix the problem

This may be related to a new feature embedded in iOS7 that shows all purchased music by default. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music. See if the issue ceases once the feature has been disabled. This information is located on page 63 of the user guide below.

How do I delete music from my ipad? I have deleted the music from my itunes but when I sync it wont come off my ipad.
If you don't want to delete too much then you can do it directly on the iPad. You can either swipe across track names and you should get a delete button, or on the album or artist selection screens you can press and hold an album or artist and you should then get an 'x' on its top corner which will delete the album or artist if you tap it.
If you want to delete more then it may be quicker to connect the iPad to your computer, and on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes under the iPad device you should see a Music section (if you don't see the content types listed then click the arrow next to the iPad's name) - select that and on the right-hand side you should see a list of the music that is on your iPad, and you can then select and delete them. -
I accidentally deleted an album from my itunes library and i want to buy it again but itunes is saying that i have already purchased it but i don't have it in my library. How do i buy the album again?
Sorry, but audiobooks cannot be downloaded more than once without charge, so if you don't have a viable backup, you may be out of luck. You can, however, contact the iTunes Store, explain the situation, and see if they can make an exception for you.

I was downloading an album off of iTunes and it did not download one of the songs for some reason what should I do?
Does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option find it ? If not, then depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries), does it show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes for downloading (if there is an complete download of the track listed in the Music part of your library then you will need to delete it from there before it will get the cloud symbol in Purchased for redownloading) ?

I just updated to the newest software and all my apps were deleted. I have tried syncing on itunes but it doesn't work. Help!
Try ReSynching to iTunes. If you set up sync to the cloud, turn that off, resync to your PC. That should bring them back. You can then turn on sync to cloud again.
You may, however, want to re-think that. There is a lot of chatter about the cloud being the source of some if not many of the battery issues. Personally, I decided to rurn the cloud off until the Battery-gate issue is resolved.

If you purchased them from the iTuens store, they are already in iCloud. All you would need to do is delete them from your device and you can redownload them again from iCloud in the future.

I downloaded an entire album off of itunes today. When i went to the library to listen to them, four of the ten songs only played to 45 seconds and then stopped completly. Where as the rest of the songs played fine. Is there anyway to fix it?
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items. -

How are you trying to copy them over ? You should be able to copy them over to the TV Shows section of your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases

I have a macbook air and I am having an issue with space.
When I rent a movie most times I rather just buy it because its sometimes only a few extra dollors more but im having the space issue.
If I transfer my itunes files to an external hard drive will I be able to delete the movies off my computer after so I dont have a 100% full hard drive, and if I delete the files off my itunes on my computer will I come to a problem when I plug in the external hard drive and go to watch them?

thank you so much!If you have a router with a USB port (I have the AirPort Extreme with a USB port, for example) you can hook up just about any hard drive to it and have it recognized on the network. But first I would consider what you want your backup scheme(s) to actually do... personally, I use three backup schemes - I've two Time Machine drives to backup my internal drive, I've three clones of my internal drive, I've one clone of my Thunderbolt 2TB 'working' drive, and I regularly backup to dual-layer DVDs (not full backups, just archived material).
So you need to use one or more backup schemes - at least two for your internal drives (Time Machine and a clone) and one for archival purposes. A Time Capsule would be perfect as a wireless Time Machine backup and you can purchase a small (well, at least the size of your internal drive) external drive to make a clone copy. Time Machine offers incremental backups (a plus when you want to go 'back in time' - at least to a time within the space limitations of your Time Capsule) while a clone gives you a 'snapshot' of your internal drive from the last time you cloned. Both have their advantages, which is why I suggest using both. For purely archival purposes, however, I use DVD - I've been doing this for over a decade now and haven't had one fail yet.
So those are your basic options - a Time Capsule would work great for wireless Time Machine backups, but i would also keep a clone and use DVDs for archiving data.

My mom & I share the same iTunes account and we finally have seperate computers. If i hide songs from iCloud on my computer will it also hide them on her's? If it does, is there anyway i can hide/delete some songs off my computer but keep them on her computer because I don't want her music on my compute but i don't want to repurchase everything i have....
Try restoring your iPod. Restoring will erase the iPod's hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings. it won't remove anything from your iTunes library. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions to name the iPod and automatically sync your songs and videos onto the fresh installation. Press Done and the iPod will appear in iTunes and start to sync. If you want to update manually or using selected playlists uncheck the box beside the sync automatically instruction and press Done, it will default to manual mode and you can choose whatever setting you like: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes 7

Zach, In any e-commerce site where you are in a financial transaction, do not hit "the button" twice. Often you will get charged twice.
To straighten out the erroneous purchase, contact iTunes Customer Service. -
I cannot remove albums and playlists from my iPhone; I deselect them in iTunes, but they remain. I can add new albums and playlists
How did the photos/albums get onto the phone ?
Only photos taken with the iPhone or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the phone - either via the trashcan icon at the bottom right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it top right in thumbnail view. Albums that you've created directly on the phone can be deleted via the Edit button at the top right of the album selection screen.
Photos/albums that were synced from your computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from on your computer and then re-syncing
