I deleted my accidentally deleted my passwords -- help

I thought I was only deleting a single entry in Keychain Access. I was asked if I wanted to delete files and references or just references. I chose the former (was this wrong?). Suddenly, all of my passwords disappeared. This is the passwords I have for various internet sites, commercial sites, etc.
How do I recover the deleted passwords? I have Time Machine working, though I've never used it to recover anything. I tried to recover the Keychain Access file in my home library folder. But that did not restore my lost files.
Please help. Thanks!!!

quit keychain access and restore from TM the file home directory/library/keychains/login.keychain. start keychain access and all your passwords should be there.

Open Keychain Access located in your Applications > Utilities folder.
Select Passwords on the left.
Type Facebook in the search field on the right then right or control click the Facebook keychain then click: Get Inf then select the Attributes tab.
Click Show Password:
You may be prompted for your admin password to proceed.
Do the same for your email and dropbox accounts.

How do I delete a password I accidentally saved on Firefox 4.0b11?

As Firefox 4.0b11 does not have a Tools Menu to access, I don't know how to delete a password that I accidentally saved through the browser. As I want to protect my personal information, it is important that I learn how to do this to ensure everything is secure. Going forward, how can I eliminate the box that comes up asking me if I want to remember the password? I never want the passwords to be stored.

In Firefox 4 you can press F10 or use "Firefox > Customize" to make the Menu Bar and other toolbars visible and remove the check-mark on "Tabs on Top" to place the tab bar in the old position.<br />
You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden (View > Toolbars > Customize or right-click a toolbar).<br />
If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press F10 or hold down the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily.<br />
Remove saved Password(s): Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"

Connect the iOS device to your computer and restore via iTunes. Place the iPod in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.

Dreamweaver (8) is deleting my saved passwords, help!

Yes, Dreamweaver 8 has started deleting saved passwords when
I restart. I have hit save, I know.. it's done it twice with the
same site today. This is so annoying, I go to upload and FTP info
is invalid and the username and password are missing (from the
remote and testing servers). That's no good!
How can I fix this? Anyone had trouble?

I recently bought a used macbook pro. I can pretty much do everything I need on it until I want to change setting and such things. Then it asks me for an administrator password which I do not know or have. On top of that I do not have the OS disc either. Is there a way I can SAFELY reset or delete the password so I can set my own without the possibility of screwing thing up. LIke I said I can do most anything. I figured this out when attempting to tether it to my smartphone for internet access (I do all the time from my desktop but my desktop is a PC so things are a little different) I am a very new mac user, I have always been a devoted PC user until now. I have to say I am really loving my macbook pro I may just stick with mac from now on (if I can get this problem figured out without too much stress.
I am looking for the safest and best way to fix this issue where nothing I do would mess up the laptop. I can use it now and I do not want that to change, I just want to be able to change my setting and set a password of my own. PLEASE HELP, THANX!

There actually is a slightly easier way in OS X 10.5 or greater.
1. Start up in single-user mode (hold Command-S as the computer starts up).
2. Type: mount -uw /
3. Press Return.
4. Type this:
passwd (user's short name)
Replace "(user's short name)" with the short name of the user account whose password you wish to reset. If you are not sure what the account name is, you can get a list of user names by typing: ls /Users
5. Press Return.
6. Enter a new user password.
7. Press Return.
8. Type: reboot
9. Press Return.

The pictures that are on your phone, that you don't want, did they appear there after syncing with iTunes? Or were they taken with the iphone's camera?
Pictures synced from iTunes have to be removed by syncing again, but not having those pictures checked under the Photos tab in iTunes.

After having experienced similar problems and having it back to work, I have a few suggestions:
- Try to find out if the syncing stops at a particular track or song. That might - out of the blue - have gotten corrupted in one way or another. Since that song will not be on the iPod, iTunes will try over and over to put it on and crash in one way or another;
- reformat the iPod as described in the iTunes 9 crash-thread. It takes time (at first it seems to do nothing, but that is because the green bar is moving with very small steps);

Cannot delete saved passwords in Safari on Yosemite

I am unable to remove any passwords from Safari (from the Passwords tab in Preferences). This is on Yosemite.
I have tried the solution outlined here: Yosemite Safari won't let me delete/change passwords, but it appears to make no difference.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Might be easier to find the passwords stored in Keychain Access located in /Applications/Utilities
Launch Keychain Access then select passwords on the left
Type in the name of a website you need the password for in the search field top right corner of that window.
