I deleted my favorite playlist accidentally, the backup method doesn't work

i accidentally deleted my favorite playlist, and i was unable to restore my library because lack of disk space, but i do have the playlist on my ipod touch, is there a way to sync my playlist from my ipod to itunes? or is there another way to get it back? thanks.

OK, this next method works on my older click-wheel ipod. I'm not sure it works on iTouch or iPhone, since I don't have one of those models to try it on, like I did with my click wheel.
On my ipod, I went to the playlist I chose, and held the center wheel until the playlist title blinked at me.
This put it in the "On The Go"playlist, and next time I synced my ipod, that entire playlist went back into itunes. It's name in iTunes was "On The Go 1", which I could easily change if I wanted.
The directions for iTouch don't say if you can do that with an entire playlist - it only mentions songs:

Otherwise, I think you are stuck with buying a 3rd-party ipod manager that will reverse-sync playlists. There is a chart here that has checkmarks for iphone and whether the software can save playlists.

Download a piece of software called TinkerTool - that might just solve your problem. I have used it myself to change the system fonts on my iMac. It is software and not an app.

HT4859 The backup procedure doesn't work. This is the second time I have been dissapointed in an Apple product!

I follow the procedure according to the web site directions and it doesn't work. Nothing is backed up. When I go to the icloud web site and sign in, nothing is there.
In addition, I got my son an iPad. Because he is under 18 Apple will not let him sign up for an account on the App store (even though I could give him permission and monitor the activity).
I had to use my account information on the App store. The result; account information is confused. I have had to reset the passwords so many times.
Where is tech support? You can't talk to a live person on the phone because Apple will not publish tech support phone numbers. This will be the LAST time I ever purchase and Apple product!

You are correct in that each should have his own account. But because my son is under 18, he cannot have his own account. I would still be in charge of it and monitor it. I was not going to lie and falsify his birthday. So, Apple would not let me create a separate account for the App Store or iTunes for him.
I am also having issues with iCloud and iTunes and synching my PC with the iPhone. What a PITA!
The words "user friendly" are not in Apple's vocabulary!
This will be the last time I ever buy and Apple product!

I cannot delete a new "game" app that won't finish downloading, the normal way doesn't work because there is no X to delete it.

I have downloaded a slot machine app that has been "downloading" for days now. The normal delete method doesn't work because it does not have the X in the corner. Also I'm not able to download new apps because it just gives the waiting message. I can't highlight it so I can't double click on the main menu button to troubleshoot it across the bottom of the screen. I'm really having problems, so if you can help please do. In my case it seems that Firefox just doesn't "see" (or can't find?) the coupon printer application anymore after the FF update. (and yes, my add-ons are enabled - to answer the tech support people's first question).
For me, the coupon printer doesn't even show up in my Firefox "Add-Ons" list anymore. Is that what people typically see when they're saying the coupon printer "doesn't work" with FF? The coupon printer was visible on the add-ons list before my FF update, and now it's totally Gone! It seems that Firefox just doesn't "see" (or can't find?) the coupon printer application anymore since the FF update.
When I'm on the coupons.com site and I click "print coupons", it tells me I haven't installed the application. But it Is installed on my computer, I can see it in my folders, and it works on IE, so it's definitely there.
BTW - I have uninstalled/reinstalled the coupon printer application. I have tried all the suggestions on the Mozilla help/forum sites, as well as the Coupons.com web site. I have closed and re-started Firefox after the installation. I have also shut down and restarted my pc after installation. I tried installing the application with Firefox open, and tried it again with Firefox closed. I've even cleared out all my cookies/history associated with Coupons.com.
... I can't think of anything else to try, except for the "solution" of using IE for coupons.
If it Really is a problem on the Coupon.com end of things, do you think it's worth it if we bombard the coupons.com support team with messages saying they need to fix the problem? (or just a waste of time?) ;(

Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)
LibreOffice (a new direction for the Open Office suite.)

I can not get the backup assistant plus to work on LG Enact cell.

switched from Droid 4 to LG Enact, needed a keyboard and this was only option. The backup assistant does not work I receive an unknown error message daily. Not happy. I have tried Apps, settings, device, apps, All tab, backup assistant, force stop, ok, storage, clear data, ok... then tryed to sync - no go received same error message. help?

Oh my, let's get to the bottom of this! Have you tried removing Backup Assistant off your phone and readding it? What error message are you getting?

You can check that via Help > About Firefox and on the Help > Troubleshooting Information page.
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

There is a thing in iPhoto whereby the first time you delete a photo it asks if you want to delete or just remove from the album, something like that. Unfortunately it is one of these things with a "don't ask me again" checkbox. Now, "deleting" photos only removes them from the album they are in. To actually trash them I must then go to "all photos" and find them, to send them to the trash. To help find them, what I do is rename them zzz or something, so sorting them will get them to the bottom of my collection. Just maybe your photos are still lurking around?

I tried copying a photo and pasting it in another event/group within iPhoto but the paste feature doesn't work. This wasn't an issue with both Leopard and Snow Leopard. Do you have any solutions or tips?

I bought a new MacBook Pro with OsX Lion as operating system. I use iPhoto a lot and when I tried copying a photo then pasting it to another event/group, the 'paste' feature doesn't work. This wasn't the case with Leopard and Snow Leopard where the 'paste' feature worked. What I did was to paste the photo first to the desktop before transferring it to the new event/group. I brought my Mac to the Apple store where I bought it and the technicians were themselves surprised that the 'paste' feature didn't work. Chalked it up to glitches in the Lion os. So how do we fix this? I just find it absurd that a feature that used to work in Snow Leopard has been disabled in Lion, and the user still has to undergo an additional step to make it work, when new technology is supposed to make things easier for users.
Also, hasn't anyone noticed that it takes longer for the computer to boot upon opening?

Instead of copy and paste drag the photo to the new event. Or flag it and use the add flagged photos to selected event command
