I deleted my trial

I deleted my photoshop and illustrator trials from my mac, and now I have purchased creative cloud, but the adobe applications manager can't update them because they don't exist anymore, so I need to find a way to reinstall them, but everytime I do anything from this website, it takes me to the applications manager which is the part that is not letting me update my programs that I am now paying for, so I don't know what to do.

You can first try to run the uninstallers located at Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers. As you have discovered just deleting the application folder does not uninstall Adobe applications.
If this does not work then you can run the Adobe Cleaner Tool as mentioned.
No need to delete AAM.

    Hi Maria ecp,
Since you have bought yearly subscription then please reinstall Acrobat and you would be able to open the pdfs again.

  • How can I install InDesign CS6 with my newly purchased serial no. when I have deleted the trial?

    hi guys,
I need to know how I can install InDesign CS6 with my newly purchased serial no. when I have deleted the trial version? In other words I do not have the trial version any longer so I need the actual download files/folder to link the serial number to. I have CC as well but that shouldn't make a difference - I need to run InDesign CS6 for third party plugins.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi there,
If you have purchased CS6 Indesign Download from Adobe Online, then you can go ahead and login to your Adobe account and navigate to "My Adobe" > "My Orders" to locate the Order, its download and the serial number.
You can also download the same trial version again and just use the serial number to activate it to a full version. Below is the link for the trial versions for CS6 versions:

  • How do I delete CS5 trial version from Mac Air?

Because I don't have an external drive in which to install PS CS5 and am away from home, I had to download the trial version of CS6. Now I want to remove it and do not know how to do that. I'd appreciate how to proceed. Can you help?
    Thank you,
    JRD

Inside the Photoshop CS6 folder under Applications, there is "Uninstall Photoshop CS6" at the bottom of the list.
Run that and check "Remove Preferences". That should completely remove Photoshop CS6 from your Mac.

  • Do I need to delete trial version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 before installing paid version?

Hi, I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 12. I already have trial version of Adobe on my computer. Should I delete the trial version before downloading paid version?

    See: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements/faq.html#trial-information
If you already have a trial version of Photoshop Elements 12 or Adobe Premiere Elements 12 installed on your computer, you can continue using the software without interruption by purchasing the product for unrestricted use.
Simply select Download from the Delivery Method pull-down menu on the Adobe Store page.
When your purchase is complete, you’ll receive a product serial number via email that allows you to easily convert your trial version without reinstalling the software.
Enter the serial number in the Software Setup screen (shown below) within your trial product and follow the prompts to complete the process.

  • CS4 Extended Trial Version won't delete after installing CS4

I downloaded CS4 extended version trial. One day after using it I found CS4 for sale. I got the program and install it. When I loaded CS4 into the computer it asked me for the code. I entered the code from the case and it worked. I installed the program and restarted the computer. I loaded the program from the start programs. Once PS starts it shows CS4 Extended version loading. The program comes up and then it ask to enter the code or run it as a trial version. For some reason every time I run CS4 it runs the trial version. I uninstalled both programs and used the CS4 cleaner script. I installed CS4 from the CD again. Once I run the program again the trial version keeps coming up and asking the same thing.
Do I have to wait for the trial version to expire for me to be able to run the full CS4 version I installed?
Has anyone come accross this issue? I keep searching but I can't find anything.
    Help...Suggestions?
    Juan

Oh dear! You should have un-installed (not deleted) the trial first.
To avoid trouble later, do the following:
    1. Uninstall Photoshop CS4 from the Control Panel
    2. Run the  CS4 Clean Script.
    3. Manually remove any remaining Adobe folders.
    4. Run a registry cleaner
    Now re-install PS CS4.

  • Delete trial trend micro

I can't seem to delete a trial of "Trend micro Smart surfing for Mac' from my computer, the only spot I see it is on the top line of my computer where the Wi-Fi signal is. I looked into my files and I can't find it anywhere.
I want to install my free Norton software from Comcast and it won't do it because of the trend micro is still on my computer. I've gone into my microtrends website and tried all three of their suggestions. But because I can't find microtrends any files anywhere on my computer I don't know what to do. All I know is it is blocking me from installing Norton antivirus software help I am a novice.
any help would be helpful as I have no protection on my computer.
    thank you
    m

Both Trend Micro Smart Surfing for Mac and the free Norton software from Comcast are completely useless products that will convey no benefit and are only likely to cause problems. If you don't want problems with your Mac install neither one. Ill-conceived "anti-virus" products are the overwhelming cause of Mac-related problems reported on this site.
any help would be helpful as I have no protection on my computer.
This is a popular misconception. OS X already includes everything it needs to protect itself from viruses and malware. Keep it that way with software updates from Apple.
A much better question is "how should I protect my Mac":
Never install any product that claims to "speed up", "clean up", "optimize", or "accelerate" your Mac. Without exception, they will do the opposite.
Never install pirated or "cracked" software, software obtained from dubious websites, or other questionable sources. Illegally obtained software is almost certain to contain malware.
Don’t supply your password in response to a popup window requesting it, unless you know what it is and the reason your credentials are required.
Don’t open email attachments from email addresses that you do not recognize, or click links contained in an email:
Most of these are scams that direct you to fraudulent sites that attempt to convince you to disclose personal information.
Such "phishing" attempts are the 21st century equivalent of a social exploit that has existed since the dawn of civilization. Don’t fall for it.
Apple will never ask you to reveal personal information in an email. If you receive an unexpected email from Apple saying your account will be closed unless you take immediate action, just ignore it. If your iTunes or App Store account becomes disabled for valid reasons, you will know when you try to buy something or log in to this support site, and are unable to.
Don’t install browser extensions unless you understand their purpose. Go to the Safari menu > Preferences > Extensions. If you see any extensions that you do not recognize or understand, simply click the Uninstall button and they will be gone.
Don’t install Java unless you are certain that you need it:
Java, a non-Apple product, is a potential vector for malware. If you are required to use Java, be mindful of that possibility.
Java can be disabled in System Preferences.
Despite its name JavaScript is unrelated to Java. No malware can infect your Mac through JavaScript. It’s OK to leave it enabled.
Block browser popups: Safari menu > Preferences > Security > and check "Block popup windows":
Popup windows are useful and required for some websites, but popups have devolved to become a common means to deliver targeted advertising that you probably do not want.
Popups themselves cannot infect your Mac, but many contain resource-hungry code that will slow down Internet browsing.
If you ever see a popup indicating it detected registry errors, that your Mac is infected with some ick, or that you won some prize, it is 100% fraudulent. Ignore it.
Ignore hyperventilating popular media outlets that thrive by promoting fear and discord with entertainment products arrogantly presented as "news". Learn what real threats actually exist and how to arm yourself against them:
The most serious threat to your data security is phishing. To date, most of these attempts have been pathetic and are easily recognized, but that is likely to change in the future as criminals become more clever.
OS X viruses do not exist, but intentionally malicious or poorly written code, created by either nefarious or inept individuals, is nothing new.
Never install something without first knowing what it is, what it does, how it works, and how to get rid of it when you don’t want it any more.
If you elect to use "anti-virus" software, familiarize yourself with its limitations and potential to cause adverse effects, and apply the principle immediately preceding this one.
Most such utilities will only slow down and destabilize your Mac while they look for viruses that do not exist, conveying no benefit whatsoever - other than to make you "feel good" about security, when you should actually be exercising sound judgment, derived from accurate knowledge, based on verifiable facts.
Do install updates from Apple as they become available. No one knows more about Macs and how to protect them than the company that builds them.
Summary: Use common sense and caution when you use your Mac, just like you would in any social context. There is no product, utility, or magic talisman that can protect you from all the evils of mankind.

I deleted my trial version of adobe muse before purchasing the creative cloud. Now however when I go to install the full version through creative cloud, application manager says that it is "up to date" and I can't click on it to install. It is definitely not on my computer. How can I install it???

    Hi charlottegoss11,
Please try these steps to fix this issue.
Rename Caps folder from this location.
    Windows:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
    Mac:
    Library/Application Support/Adobe
Once done please relaunch AAM and try installing Muse.

  • Deleting "trial" games

I download 60 minute trials of games a lot. On my PC, when my time was up, I would go into the control panel and completely delete the trial, totally removing it from my system. How do you do that with a Mac? Where do you go to completely delete programs, trials, or anything else that you want off? How do you "clean" a Mac?

Click on the finder icon in the dock,
    go to applications
Drag the game you want to delete to the trash. It will uninstall.
    or
I RECOMMMEND THIS PROGRAM AS IT DOESNT JUST UNINSTALL IT, IT GETS RID OF ALL FILES AND FOLDERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PROGRAM.
Use this program: its called AppDelete
    1. Download [here|http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/31123]
    2. Install
    3. Run program
    4. Go to applications and drag the game or app to the wooden bin icon on the program window and click delete
ALWAYS EMPTY THE TRASH AS PEOPLE FORGET TO AND END UP WITH NO HARD DISK SPACE!
