I deleted some videos from my iPad mini. Can I restore them with my icloud backup

Please help. I deleted some videos I need. If i reset my iPad mini will I be able to restore with my icloud backup.

If they were in your camera roll when you last backed up, restoring the backup should recover them. The backup will, of course, overwrite any newer data on your iPad so if you want to keep it you'll need to save it before restoring the backup.

My son deleted a video from his ipad mini and I want it back, I was so upset when he deleted it so I was hoping I can restore it or retrive it somehow

Do you have backup made of the phone before it was deleted? if so, you can get it out of the backup, otherwise, not much hope.
If on mac: Dr.Fone (Mac) will do the job nicely, I'm sure there's something equivalent for windows, but I'm not so familiar there.

Photostream when enabled will only add photos from the camera roll that were taken post photostream activation. (Photostream does not currently share video)
Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device
Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
If this doesn't help you may need to reset photo stream. You can do this at icloud.com by clicking on your name in the top right corner and then the advanced settings in the pop-up dialogue box that appears.
Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back.

Do you live in the United States? If you do then you can download them again for free - as long as the movies are available for free downloads. Apple has not forged agreements with every movie studio yet so you just have to check.
Launch iTunes, and tap on the purchased tab. In the upper left corner you will see a "View" button. Tap that in order to toggle among music, TV Shows and Movies. Select Movies and then see if the movies appear. If they do, tap the Movie icon and then tap the cloud icon next to the icon in order to begin the download.
You have to use the same Apple ID that you used to purchase them.
If you do not live in the U.S. then you will have to purchase them again.

With an iOS device, the “Other” space in iTunes is used to store things like documents, settings, caches, and a few other important items. If you made a Time Machine backup before deleting the applications, you can recover them from your backup. Just go to the Applications folder, and open the Time Machine app, so you will be able to recover the applications just navigating through your backups.
However, there are some applications that won't work after doing this, because they require other system files. In this case, you will have to download the apps again from the Internet and install them using the installer

Why can't i delete videos from my ipad mini 2?

Hi,
I'm running out of space on my iPad mini 2, 32gb, ios8.1.2. I want to delete some videos I shot on holiday last year, so I can make some more this year.
In the camera roll, I hit select, select the vids to delete, but the trash can icon goes grey (inactive) instead of blue (active). Deleting photographs is not a problem.
These films are not on my Cloud drive. I copied them onto my laptop - for editing purposes and backup. They are in a sub-folder in Movies, not in iTunes, as far as I can tell.
This doesn't explain why they are still on my iPad, despite all attempts to delete them!
Please help - I dare not shoot more vid until I know I'll be able to get rid of it!

Is it possible that these videos are being used in an iMovie for iOS project? That would cause it to be impossible to delete them. See this article for how to complete the deletion -
