I deleted the sign-in tab in Ctrl-Tab 0.21.1. How do I get it back?
I installed Ctrl-tab 0.21.1. Initially there were several tabs prefilled, one of which, was for sign-in. I made a mistake and deleted it and now I want to recover it. How do I do this? Thank you. Marsh
I tried installing several times and it did not work. Each time I downloaded it, and restarted the computer it went back to the web site you gave to down load. Each time I checked the Ctrl-Tab and the sign-in was not listed. Now I have done some further checking in the profile and it shows a blue dot in default, but none in on or off. I don't know if that makes a difference. In fact, when I down loaded it there was no difference between what I had and after the down load. In other words, what tabs I had when I first installed the Ctrl-tab did not appear, only the ones that I added, minus the sign-in tab, which I inadvertently deleted. I did remove Ctrl-tab before doing all this. Another thing I noticed is after restarting the computer it goes back to down load, but I do not get any indication that it is being installed. I deleted the iTunes app. When I go to iTunes to try and re download iTunes it says it it included with my IPAD and there is no download button for IPad only for a MAC.
Could be got moved to another screen. Swipe back and forth between screens, see if you find it. If you don't go to your Home screen (it has the Settings icon) then swipe the screen to the left so you see the white search field top of the screen.
Type in iTunes. See if it shows up.
If not, connect your iPad to your computer. Launch iTunes, select the Apps tab from the menu. Hopefully you'll find it on one of the screens. Just drag and drop the iTunes icon back to the Home screen then click Sync. -
I accidentally deleted the built-in Maps app from my iPhone 4s. How can I get it back?
I'm not sure how I managed to delete it, since I thought built-in apps couldn't be deleted. It's also missing now on iTunes so I'm at a loss as to how to get it back. Tried shutting down and restarting but that didn't work.
You can not delete built-in Apps. You must have accidentally moved it into another folder.
Try the following...
Try searching for it using Spotlight.
Try a reset. Press and hold the Sleep and Home buttons for about ten seconds, ignore the red slider, until the Apple logo appears then release. This is the equivalent of a re-boot. You will not lose any data.
Try resetting the Home Screen Layout
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout -

Deleting an email account for the the mail app will not have any effect on ther AppleId and its use for other services. You need to delete the old ID and set up the new one for other services suxch as FaceTime, App store, etc.
It sounds like you are trying to set up a new ID rather that just adding your old one back in. Or maybe I'm missing something. -

Well, it looks like you have an iMac, but if you go to the Apple menu, click About This Mac, then More Info, you'll see a hardware model number at the top. It might look like "iMac3,1". That will help us translate it into a year.
When you say your programs have gone, are you just looking at the dock (the line of apps at the bottom of the screen), or have you also gone to the Applications folder (click the Finder, then Applications) and verified that they've been deleted?
There are two possibilities that I can think of - either your install wiped the hard drive (it's possible to do that, but shouldn't happen by default), or you're logged into a different user account than your normal one. You could try going to System Preferences - Accounts, and check if there are multiple users listed there.

The App Store icon can't be deleted. You either moved it - to another home screen page or inside a folder, or set a restriction so it doesn't show.
1. Settings > General > Restrictions > (Allow) Installing Apps > ON.
2. Search all Home Screen pages and inside folders
3. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. -

I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

The power went out and when it returned the network name and password was lost. I can see the network in my connections and connect to it. How do I get it back to the orginal name and password? I have an HP laptop.
Chances are, there was a signficant power surge or voltage fluctuation just before the power went out. This type of thing can cause the AirPort Extreme to reset back to default settings.
If this occurs, your only option is re-configure the device again, just as you did originally.
In order to improve your chances this next time this happens, (especially if you live in an area where thunderstorms are severe), a good quality surge suppressor / voltage limiting power strip will really help, and may save you the entire device or a nearby computer next time something like this occurs. -

Do you have a backup of your iPhone? If so, do a restore and whatever Notes were backed up should reappear.
You will lose any changes made since that backup though.
