The Apple store had to reinstall the software on my brand new Iphone4, as they said the firmware was corrupted and it could/would not connect to Itunes . I then spent another two hours putting back in all my contacts music etc. Now I have no Facetime, no icon, no nothing. Twice I have asked Apple for an 'express call back', but they don't!
Can someone please tell me how to get Facetime back on my phone WITHOUT having to 'restore' and loose all my contacts again!
The Company which I own were given all new phones and I was the only person who did not ask for a Blackberry Torch, and opted for the Apple. You can guess how happy I am with that decision at the moment.
Any help would be appreciated...

Here is the answer and absolutely no thanks to Apple Support who could not find a solution.
You have to 'restore' the iphone, however you HAVE to restore as a 'NEW PHONE'. If you restore as the existing one in memory then Face Time still will not work. And before you do, you should download MeMobile as it will save all your contacts, it's a freebie for 60 days.

If you are seeing a debit that you are unaware of, look at your purchase history to see if that debit shows up. If it does and it was not you then there is a report and issue for that purchase option.

Why am i being charged dollars when i did not buy anything!

why am i being charged ($1.05 on several occations ) when i did not buy anything, just downloaded free apps and sometimes i have updated few of those free apps.
all i see is charges our of no where! it doesn't happen every time i do a free download (games. etc,,).. and am sure what i download is from 'top free
i have a susption that it happens when i update some of my free apps, because some times the charges are more than $1.05,, but rather 3,4,5,6,7!!!
please explain, i can't figure out whats happening !

Apple "veriifes" your Apple ID account information everytime you download media whether free or paid thus the authorization hold. Your account will be credited the amount of the holds usually within 24 to 48 hours.

Try each of these in order until one works:
Open App Store and click on your Purchases tab. If you're prompted to accept them, then do so.
Put the old ones into the Trash, temporarily. Open App Store and see if you can download them for free from their individual product pages. If asked to buy them, see the next option.
Click here, contact Apple, and wait for a response.
You will have to purchase them using your Apple ID.

Cannot download a TV episode "you did not buy this" error message

I have received two new episodes of programs that I purchased, and tonight when I tried to download, both shows gave me an error message that said "you did not buy this. You cannot download."
But I DID buy this! I've bought these two shows for more than a season!
I had an earlier error message that these shows could not download at this time, in the morning. During the day I shut down the computer completely, and rebooted this evening . . . . . to get this new error message.
Any ideas?

Hi , a similar thing happened to me with another piece of software .. it was then that I realized I have two accounts .. I have no recollection of setting up two but it seems I did somewhere along the line.. I have jimkells and the second is [email protected] .. so when I logged in as the other acc there it was and I was able to update .. could it be FCPX was bought on another user account ??

Hi all,
For some time now, my appstore app shows an update available for CodeBox, which I did not buy. When I try to update it it asks for my ID and password (all normal), but then it gives an Unknown Error.
I am 100% sure I didn't buy the app, I do not see any transaction on my card or in the appstore apart of this one, so does not seem to be a hack.
Does anyone know what is happening, this is a tricky thing which is making me lose trust in the payment/account system that Apple is using.

My ipad got a 1 line cracked at the corner side near the charging sight...went to a apple aothorized reseller...1st they advised me to contact online/call toll free support for the inquiries on my IPAD2 for the reason that i did not buy it in their store.

it was not broken due to drop..we charged it and afterwardse we saw that there was a crack..if we drop it i think it will not only have a one small line...but anyway the authorized resseller facilitated the reporting of the complain of our ipad2...i think they have it pictured and send it to the apple.com...apple.com replied that my case is approved and still under warranty...they send it to the Authorized apple repair center...

Did you try re-installing OS x Lion? That was the solution for me. Just make a back up with time machine and then restart your mac and during restart press ALT. Then you'll acces the support screen and there you can reinstall OS X lion on your macintosh HD.
This was the solution the people from Apple support gave me and afterwards I could download the update perfectly.

Did you buy anything from the App Store? All of those stores are connected to the iTunes Store so that's probably why you got something that said iTunes on it.
If you bought an app, for example, that was $30 you'll probably see "iTunes Store" on the receipt.
