I did not receive a serial number, not on box.  Believe box had been tampered with when I received it this date

I ordered Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 from Amazon, received it this date, March 10th, 2015.  There is no serial number on the box at all, anywhere. 

There is normally an inner box (white cardboard) and if you pull it out the serial number should be found. It will commence 1057-

    My computer crashed and I reinstalled CS5 from the download sight. I have a license for two computers which was installed on two iMac computers. The one iMac crashed and I could not get in my hard drive, so I purchased a MacBook Pro. I called Adobe and they gave me a case number 0215153209 along with the web sight to download the software and my serial number of the product. I downloaded the product but it will not accept the serial number. I wonder, since I had it installed on two computers and I was unable to delete the software from the computer that crashed that it thinks I'm trying to load it on a third computer? I do I over come this?

    Stephene30094839 I reviewed the serial numbers you offered in case 0215153209 and they both have activations remaining.  What specific error message are you receiving when installing Creative Suite 5?  If you are receiving the error message that the serial number is invalid then can you provide a bit more history?  You indicated an iMac crashed and you could not get into your hard drive and then bought a MacBook Pro.  Were any files or folders transferred from the iMac to the MacBook Pro?

    the serial number for a mac installation is not the same as for a windows installation.  and, in fact, cs5.5 is not a dual  platform product so you cannot install it on a windows machine unless you have a windows license/serial number.
    you could upgrade to creative cloud.  the subscription apps (cs6, cc and cc 2014) are all dual platform.

    you don't get or use a serial number with cc.  you sign in to your cc desktop app with your adobe id.

    Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download  install  activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

    sign in with the same adobe id used to subscribe.  start the download of one of your programs.

    there is no serial number used with adobe cc programs.  you use your adobe id.
    go here and download the cc desktop app (using your adobe id), Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Free Adobe CC trial
    after the desktop app is installed, open it and use it to install your ps and lr programs.

    You must first make the purchase, then you will receive the serial number you are asking about.  YOu do not acquire the serial number thru the software.  You acquire it thru the purchase, possibly via a follow-up confirmation  email.

    I have a PC with windows 7 installed.  Acrobat X reader and Acrobat XI Pro trial version run fine.  I have purchased Acrobat XI Standard and there is a serial number in my account.  Acrobat XI Standard installs fine but I receive the error message after putting my serial number in, "Serial number you provided is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer."

    The message identifies that you have purchased an upgrade version of the applications and it is asking you to identify the previous version of that application that you are upgrading from and then to provide its serial number.
    If you did not intend to purchase an upgrade version then you probably need to cancel that and purchase it at full price.
