I did something so thunderbird uses the whole screen. How do I get it back to normal

Thunderbird now covers my whole screen. How do I reduce the display?

WORKAROUND:
1. Edit ~/.thunderbird/*/localstore.rdf
2. Search for: sizemode="fullscreen"
3. Change it to: sizemode="normal"
That's for a Linux installation. Step 1 will be different for you if you use Windows.
So,
Go to '''Help|Troubleshooting Information'''.
Look for "Profile Folder" and click on the button next to it labelled "Show Folder". You will be taken to your profile. You'll need to have your computer set to see hidden folders for the next bit.
Find the file named ''localstore.rdf'' and open it in Notepad. Now you can search for ''sizemode'' (there will be lots of them!) and look for any that are set to "fullscreen", and change it to "normal".
I don't know how it gets set to "fullscreen" since Thunderbird doesn't formally offer this option.

i googled for answer to resolve the zoom problem. all the anwers just told you to read links but didn't tell how to fix the screem back to normal then it can be able to go to Setting to fix the zoom funciton. HOWEVER, I accidentally found the solution myself by using a fingers or more
to draw circles clockwise on the screen....it will reset it normally. I spent hours trying to go diagonally, compressively still didn't work.

You can move apps around in iOS 7 the same as iOS 6. Press an app icon until you see it wiggle; then drag it to where ever you want it to be. Drag it onto another app to create a folder with the two apps. Tap the Home button to stop the wiggle.

My iPod touch screen is dark, brightness is completely up and can barely see it. Started all of a sudden.

I am experiencing the same problem. There are lots of discussion threads on this topic. Several people have had short term luck restoring their touch or wiping it clean and starting as a new ipod again. Not a great option, but better that losing the darn thing completely. What has worked for me several times is to power the unit down and leave it for a day or two then it seems to work again. It seems clear to me that this is not a hardware issue, as when it first powers up the screen is fine and sometimes it lasts and other times only for 5 seonds. Also since resetting the software address it, there is no problem with the hardware. SO where is tech support in addressing this. My gen 2 ipod no loger has any sofware updates, thanks apple!

Just drag the small window to the top right below the toolbar, you'll see the area highlighted and when you drop it the file should dock.

Hey there tjbliven,
It sounds like you are not able to use the dictation feature of iOS 8, becuase the microphone icon is missing. It seems to me like Siri may be turned off, which would cause the icon to not be there:
Siri settings - iPhone
To set options for Siri, go to Settings > General > Siri. Options include:
Turning Siri on or off
That should get the dictation feature back for you.

Go to your account on your computer and set the credit card to none. This will allow you to use the gift card.

If you can't get dragging to work, just click on Safari from your Applications folder, and it should appear in the dock. Then you can right-click on the icon and PIN it permanently there.

Do you mean that you have moved this folder to the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu list?
You can open the Bookmarks Manager (Library) and select the Bookmarks Menu folder in the left pane and drag or use Cut and Paste to move this folder to the top of the Bookmarks Menu folder or to the Bookmarks Toolbar folder if you want it to appear there.

Hi, using the COM Interface how do you get/set the Keep iTunes Music Folder Organised options, I cant seem to find it in the help. Secondly if I have the location of a file and the Track DatabaseId, is there any way to get get the IITrack object that relates to the location. As far as I can see the Search method only allows searching on artist/abum,title,composer , and GetITObjectByID() reuires both the track database id and the track in playlist id ,and I only have the first.

Yes, I brute force my way through it. I analyzed the file before and after a preference change to find the data changed. FYI, the "data" portion of the iTunesPrefs.xml file appears to be Base64-encoded. Strings are UTF8.
If you want more support from apple, you would probably need to buy an higher-level ADC account.
You can also try submitting an enhancement request through http://bugreport.apple.com (requires at least a free ADC Online account)

I used the (Apple branded) VGA adapter lots of times last year. Now I got back to one place I used it many times and it does not work. When I restart iPad with the adapter connected, I get the "accessory is not supported"message. But that same accessory WAS supported before.
This is very annoying as I planned a whole bunch of presentations starting this week to do with my iPad2 and that adapter.

I received the same error message, "Accessory Not Supported" from both the VGA and DV video adapters I purchased, both were boxed direct from Apple. However, to bypass this problem I simply clicked on Photos icon on iPad2 and flipped through photos until it displayed on my projector. I then exited the Photos app and my home screen displayed fine on the projection screen.
Some logic issue with the video adapters, but launching Apple Photo app initializes the video adapters then they work fine for mirroring after that.

I accidentally removed an etra internal HD from the Disc utility and hense the desktop. How do I get it back?

I had been getting a window on my desktop on boot up referring to a disc. It gave the choice to ignore, eject or initialise. When I initialise it takes me to the Disk Utility. I though I had found it and removed it but then noticed that it was my spare internal HD as the icon disappeared from the desktop.
How do I get it back as I now have no access to it.
All I can think of is taking it out of its slot and putting it back in and hopefully it will be recognised again.

I had tried a Restart but that didn't work.
The 'Mount' was greyed out so couldn't use that.
However, my initial thought to slide the HD out and back in again did work. All back to normal.
It also stopped the warning window which appeared on start up. That's gone too.
One thing this problem has instigated was to give the internal areas of the tower a good hoover out. It was well overdue a clean so some good came out of my 'accident'.
