I did the latest update to my iphone and now it is not activating. why ???

99.9% of the time, the cause of this issue is the fact the phone was jailbroken/hacked to unlock it for use on networks other than the network the phone was originally locked to. Apple maintains a database of officially unlocked iPhones, and when Apple's servers detect phones such as yours, activation stops & you get the message you got.
So, either get a sim card from the carrier your phone was originally locked to, or get it officially unlocked, if you want to activate it. Because it appears that it was not officially unlocked.

I downloaded the last update on my iPad and now I can not download from the apple store or iTunes. I just sits there and continues to act like it will but nothing happens. And then it times out and goes back to home screen. Have a 32 so have have plenty of room.
What would you advice I do? I purchased this iPad in dec 2013.Double tap your home button to bring up the most recently used apps.
You'll see the app icon below and a screen shot of the app page above.
With your finger swipe the app page above the app icon upwards to fully close the apps (you should do this regularly).
Now, reboot your iPad. Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart. You won't lose any data or settings.
When your iPad comes back up, see if you can download again. -
I just did the update to iOS 7.1 and now cannot use my Facebook app on my ipad. It won't open, it just crashes. I can access it via the internet and can still use the app on my iPhone (which also has the update) but not on my ipad. Anyone else have this problem or have any suggestions?

That message means that you have to restore the iOS software because something went wrong. Follow the instructions here. I hope that you have a backup.

Hi, I've just downloaded the latest release 10.1.1 and now I do not see any more correctly my clips either in the canvas and in the timeline. Playing clips, they now appears with garbled images, completely unstables: I can not editing in these conditions!

I've stored the library in HARD DISK which is installed inside my computer (1 TB capacity) and different from my hard disk in which I've installed all my applications (600 GB capacity).
I've installed FCP since 2001, bought FCP X in 2012: never had a problem. Yesterday I was editing my video of my last vacations (in California!) and I have updated FCP X, downloading FCP X 10.1.1: then the problem!
Strange is the fact that I've just tried to export a short project, I can see the final product quite well.
What is impossible is playing the clips within Final Cut: they are jumpimg, moving, presenting some frame in green or red ...
Everything all right in iMovie.
I've just checked the RAM: 9GB out of 12 GB is busy, could this be the problem?
Motion is very slow: for 20 sec of project, it takes minutes to play. And once again, if you finalize the projet and export it in Quicktime, you can see it correctly.
I do hope you may suggest something, I'm getting crazy!

Help! I just installed the latest update on my IPhone 4 and now I can't access my podcasts. When I hit the podcast I on, the screen goes blank for a second and then opens to the home screen with all my icons. What happened?
Try a reset which is similar to a computer restart and is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously you see the Apple logo and then release.

I did the lastes update on my Iphone 5 and later when I went to my contracts they were all gone. The update had something to do with the cloud but I don't remember if I ever set up a Icloud account.

I did the uptade all my data from my phone was erased. Then they asked me to restore the phone. Then my phone start working. But not 100%. Now would you please tell me what else to do? If you are saying that you cannot even open the phone app? Your troubleshooting included powering the phone off and back on? If that is all the troubleshooting that you have done, the next step is to reset the phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. If that does not fix the problem, then the next step is a restore. Frist from a backup and if necessary restore as new.
