Adobe Download Assistant, and Adobe Ilustrator CS6

Please remove this program from this computer. It downloaded (taking up a lot of time), and now I find it can not help me make the conversion I'm after, and it's stuck on my computer- it won't remove or uninstall.
Don't ask me to go to FAQ because it won't SOLVE the problem.
You have the technology to download it so, so now take it back!
I'll try your products on a new computer.

I appreciate your concern. But again, please wipe out anything about me on your database. To make a long story short, my patience endured through telephone conversation with an agent (for which I waited about one full hour.)
The chats also failed to address my problem.
You have the technology to resolve the issue of Adobe Assistant, and the Adobe Illustrator. It just became a dead and wasted presence on my computer.
Next, I know when I should visit the FAQ. I don't need to do that.
I appreciate your E-mail, but to me it seems that sloppy organization is a result of poor inter-department communication.
A good chunk of your revenue comes from little people like me. I'm not oversimplifying the matter; you do have the resources to trouble-shoot. But from what I had experienced, too many of your agents were ill-equipped to advise; and when they do make the effort, they tell me what I already know, or I get cut off when trying to pull out the ID number of that transaction.
I might try it again when my new computer arrives, or- I will not do business with Shutterstock anymore.

Adobe download assistant and manager

I have downloaded the Adobe Download Assistant and the adobe Applications Manager. I am trying to install a trial version of Indesign CS6. It will download, extract files, but freezes at 42% installation. I get an error that the Applications Manager is damaged. I have downloaded the Manager 3 times and keep getting the same error. Where can I get a good one? I have only downloaded from the adobe site because I don't know who to trust. Please help.

I just wanna shoot myself. When I was registrating an Adobe ID I used my favorite password and its longer than 12 characters. But! When I have tried to 'Sign in' with Download Assistant... Guess what? You're right: "Your password must be 6 and 12 characters...". Why did you let me to create an account with that password if its unusable in your apps?

That's not correct. I had created a longer than 12-character password just fine, and I have used it to login successfully without any issue in the past. It does not get truncated at creation, it's just allowed to be a longer password when you initially set it up.
However, the Adobe Download Assistant (and possibly other entry points) does have the 6-12 character restriction, and longer passwords apparently can't be used here. Other comments have the correct solution... you'll need to log into My Adobe with your lengthy password, and reset it to one with fewer characters.

After Adobe Download Assistant is installed, you can start it at any time and select a product to download at the bottom of the window. The list updates as new products become available to download with the Adobe Download Assistant.

Stuck with download assistant and reseting password!

The download assistant does not recognize my adobe ID, it keeps saying my password 'must be 6-12 characters' when it is, and when I try to resent my password, I put in a replacement password and click continue, only for it to get stuck on the password re-registration page : S.

Download assistant and Flashplayer updates

The exact error I get is as follows: The application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem. The certificate does not match the installed application certificate, does not support application upgrades, or is invalid. Please contact the application author. This I get for download assistant. I am not able to update flashplayer. It tells me I am not connected to the internet when I am.
PS the author is not willing to help.

You may as well try using any other alternate browser like Firefox or Chrome.
In case this does not helps, then please provide some additional details like a screenshot of the error and name of the product/version you are trying to download.

Some songs I downloaded didn't download fully, and when I play them they cut out halfway through.

I downloaded a couple of albums, where most of the songs don't last as long as the time listed, and they sound like they cut out halfway through. For example, a track that itunes says is 7 minutes actually only lasts for about 3. Dragging the songs into song editing software reveals the songs really are shorter then they should be, my ipod isn't just skipping ahead.
How do I go about getting the songs in full / restoring them?

That is usually the result of a downloading problem. You can download fresh copies (at no charge) by following this guide: iTunes 10 for Windows: Download previous purchases from the iTunes Store
In the unlikely event that the new copy has the same problem, it could be a defect in the store master file. If that happens, you cannot correct it yourself, so report it to iTunes Customer Service.

Deleting itunes tracks that I purchased but didn't download properly and have no known file

I purchased a new album and I had to leave for work shortly after it started downloading, so I just left my computer on to finish. It should have only taken a couple minutes to download. When I came home, only a few of the 18 tracks downloaded. The rest had the ! next to it in the faded grey and had to source file. I couldn't redownload it from iTunes as it said it was already on my computer. I updated my laptop with my purchases and then copied the songs that were missed from my laptop to my desktop. It's all good there now, but now I have a bunch of tracks on my iTunes that will not play, have no file location, and they will not delete. They are unchecked and when I right click on them to delete them, they just won't. How do I remove these tracks?

I don't use smart playlists (don't even know what they are actually). I'm just trying to delete them from my main music library. Here's a screenshot of what I'm looking at. Right clicking and selecting delete does nothing. The shift delete does nothing. When I go to get info and select file info, it has nothing for file location. Any suggestions?
