I do not get prompted to authorize my Nook

I have read several threads advising me to delete adobe reader through the device and through the terminal, all of which I have done successfully. However, when I relaunch Adobe I do not receive a prompt to authorize my Nook. I am really frustrated and I really want this to work. Is there anyone who can help me PLEASE?

My computer is authorized to play purchases but for one of the songs I recently purchased I keep getting prompted to authorize the computer to play the song. How do I fix this?

I recently purchased a song on my iphone. When I synced my phone to my computer, I was prompted to authorize the computer to play the song, which I did. It did not compute and thus when I try to play the song in iTunes on my Macbook Pro, I keep getting prompted to authorize the computer. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it? I also cannot play the song now from my iPhone. I even tried re-downloading it from the iTunes store and that did not help.

That suggests the track is damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

TS1389 What if I keep getting prompted to authorize my computer (only for 3 songs), but my computer is already authorized?

I purchased a whole CD from iTunes and can play all but 3 songs. I keep getting prompted to authorize my account to play these 3 songs. But when I enter my apple ID and password, I get a message that says my computer is already authorized. It keeps cycling around and won't let me play the 3 songs. Anyone else ever have this problem or find an answer?

If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.
You may also find it helpful while downloading to select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.

We are not getting prompted for the user password but when we run the same cd on a different system we get prompted for the user's password. Can anyone point me in the right direction on what is wrong? If you need more info let me know.

Well I have checked all the logs and there are no errors. What I have found out is that it successfully runs but there is 0 ouput, in essence it isn't exporting any data.
Here it shows that it completed successfully but in the export directory there isn't data when there should be.

Value Interaction Not getting prompted

hi all,
we are using value interaction for some reports but in those, column field is not getting prompted even though we put the filter condition as isprompted.

Yes... you can do that... but unless you have correct requirement to pass the values to other report.
Value interaction (on values) will be possible in Any view.
But interaction with headings will not be possible for pivot for facts...

Since upgrading to iOS 6 I am not getting prompted for my password when I update apps. Why is this?

When I updated apps on my ipad2 and iphone4S I used to get prompted for my password within a certain time. So I could update a couple and then 10 minutes later if I wanted to download or update something else I would need to put in my password again. Since I upgraded to iOS6, I don't believe I am prompted for my password the same amount of times. I updated an app this am after not using iPad through the night and it just updated, no password required. This has me concerned now because sometimes I bump buttons by accident and now I will be charged for these accidents. What has happened to Apple's brilliant security?

They've changed it in iOS and updates (and updates ONLY) do not require a password since it is really unnecessary as they have it on record that you were the one who bought the app. Why is more security needed, you aren't going to be charged for anything?
Next time you update and app go to the App Store and try to buy something. You will be asked for your password.

Could not get # prompt using tera term

Hi,
I am not getting the # prompt when I connect to two of my Sun servers in the network. I am using tera term terminal emulator, with bit rate 9600,8,1,N settings. I am seeing all the messages in the Sun console but could not get to the configuration prompt.
Is there any specific key strokes to enable access to the configuration mode?
I am re-iping the system and I am in no way to use tcp/ip for that. I am really stuck up, help here is much appreciated

I am missing my saved passwords and I do not get prompted to remember passwords since downloading a recent update, why?

I use AOL mail and saw a banner for a supported firefox download and I made the mistake of downloading the update. Since I have none of my saved passwords and I do not get a prompt when I enter a site for the choice to save the password. I am looking to change to Google Chrome if this cannot get corrected.

I encountered precisely this problem after the first upgrade to iOS 8, also on a 5s: empty Recents lists, failure to log any calls and a badge showing a -1 (minus 1). It appears to be a problem with corruption of the iPhone backup file, whether backed up to the computer or to iCloud (I tried both). Whether it was introduced by the iOS 8 upgrade process is open to speculation as I'd had no problems with restoring from backup with a couple of prior iOS 7 updates.
Restoring the iPhone to Factory settings solves the problem, but then restoring from a backup re-introduces it. Setting the device up as a new phone is the only way to fix it. Problem is, you lose your contacts and SMS history, unless you've used a third-party app to back them up outside iTunes. If that's no problem, simply do a Factory Restore then set up the phone as new and the problem is gone.
If it is a problem (it was for me), I found two apps that enable you to back up & subsequently restore Contacts & Messages. Syncios is free and worked like a charm for getting my Contacts backed up & restored to the phone. However, it can only back up & restore Messages if the device is jailbroken.
This phone was not JB'd so I had to find another app for Messages: Backuptrans iPhone SMS Backup and Restore. It is $19 for up to 3 devices but was worth it in my case; creates a backup file on your computer that you can restore from after the Factory Restore. Very simple & straightforward.
The photos, apps & music, etc., were easily restored to the phone via iTunes sync.
Hope this is of help to others similarly affected. Must be relatively rare, though, as even the Senior Apple Advisors I worked with had not encountered it before. I made them aware of this thread, FWIW.

Can not get prompt popup for save password and plugin install

I am using Firefox 10.0.0.2 on Win7 b4bit os. I found that I can never get prompt popup with any password form submission. Even the plugin install prompt popup can never turn up.. The prompt popup can show in safe mode only.
I tried to re-install the whole browser and cleared all plugins/extensions. Never worked...PLEASE HELP!

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Not getting prompt to "update template files" after editing template

This has happened to me before and you guys helped but I can not find my past post now on this forum. After I edit a template I would normally get the prompt to "update template files" then it would update all the files using that template...but now for some reason I am not being asked and because if it none of the pages using the template are being updated....anyone know why?? dreamweaver cs4

Reauthencation of Wireless User does not get prompt

Hi Sir,
I set up a Radius server(Cisco ACS) to authenticate wireless users via 802.1x. The EAP protocol deployed is Microsoft PEAP as most of the clients OS is XP. The users might be sharing the same laptops. When a user select the wireless network to connect to, he was prompted a window for him to enter the Username, Password and Domain field. After successful authentication, he was able to access the network resources.
However, the user is not prompted the Username, Password and Domain after he has done so the first time. I understand that XP cached the user credentials in the registry. But my customer would like the window prompt to appear when the following scenario happens to reauthenticate
a) Session timeout (Notice options in Group profile in ACS but didnt seem to work). What is this session timeout in ACS?
b) Idle timeout to reauthenticate the current wireless user as the user might leave his workspace for a short period of time and someone might have use his credential to access the network illegitimately
c) When he shuts down the PC and the laptop is passed to another user but the previous user credential is used rather than the second user credentioal is used.
How can I disable the automatic cached user credentials? Is there a way to prompt the user after a period of time for him to enter Username, Password and Domain field again? Is the option available in the XP client? I search through the AP configuration options but found none.

Not getting prompt for 2nd layer when writing DLT

I am using DVDSP3. Trying to write a dual layer DVD-9. When I attempt to format it goes through the motions and writes both layers onto 1 tape. IFrom what I have read I am supposed to be prompted for the second tape. I have double checked my settings and they are all correct. I have marked for dual layer, one side, I let DVDSP set my breakpoint, 12 cm, OTP.
I have searched the forum and found that the question was posed before and a couple of people alluded to the fact that there was a fix for this but they couldn't remember. Does anyone know anything about this?

Resolution- Either I just need a couple of days off or the drive was just being cranky but it is working now. I don't know if I turned things on in the wrong order before or what exactly made it work correctly but as we speak I am writing tape #2. So if anyone has this problem in the future make sure your tape is in securely and try powering everything back down and up. That's all I did.

[Not Working] Require Administrator Authorization to: Turn Wi-fi on or off

I have recently needed to turn off and on my MacBook's Wi-fi several times over a period of a couple of days now. I am noticing that I do not get prompted for my system password even though the setting is ticked to require administrator authorization on this action.

That's pretty darn funny bud. I didn't know people from "primary school" pride themselves by answering questions on an Apple forum.
As for the issue with the phones: I'm sure Apple will fix this problem of theirs. A company as large scale as Assle cannot tell their users that they're on their own when a mass number of them all at once experience the same problem. By chance, everyone happens to have the same technical problem after updated to IOS 6+.
I've had nothing but problems with IOS 6. I choose chose Apple over Android forever due to the nice fact that they rarely crashed. Now, every app I have (including their fu**ing propriatary bull) crashes daily).
Hence... iPhone 4s for sale!! Black 16gb. I'LL PAY YOU to take it!

I keep getting promted to authorize

I am attempting to play some tunes I downloaded. First time I have ever had an issue since 2007.
I keep getting prompted to authorize my computer (or phone or Ipad) to play recent downloads?
I authorize and then get another prompt stating I am authorized. Then I attempt to listen to the tunes and I get back into the annoying cycle.

Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID
