I do not have audio output when my guitar to usb cable is plugged into my ipad
I have a guitar to USB cable, I have the USB adapter for my iPad. I am trying to record my guitar in garageband, when the guitar to USB cable is plugged in I cannot hear anything, not even the metronome. If I try to playback what I recorded I cannot hear it, even with headphones. I unplug the cable and I can hear. I don't know what I am missing so that I can hear my guitar through the amp while I am recording.

Select HDMI audio output when headphone connectted
In Snow Leopard, I can connect my headphone to Mac Mini, and select HDMI audio output when I want sound from monitor, or select headphone.
But in Lion, I can not select HDMI when headphone is connectted, so I have to plug/unplug headphone very often, quite anoyying...
How can I disable this feature?

make sure that you are not covering the mic on the bottom of the device and top (opposite of lock button) when recording a video.
Other than that, back up in iTunes and RESTORE firware for a clean slated version of the ISPW -

Without going into detail on the DVD aspect of your question (ripping/decrypting a copyprotected DVD is illegal in some countries), what format is the audio in that file? Have you tried transferring (and then playing) any other video files, did they work?

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Power cycle the router.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved. -
i use gmail , it says i can't access it because browsers cookies are disabled , THEY ARE NOT. I go into tools and options and cookies are enabled. I do not have this problem when i switch to internet explorer. If the issue is not resolved i will switch back to internet explorer . any help you can give would be appreciated.

Try resetting the PSE preferences by
1. Close Elements.
2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Editor.
3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences.
One of the similar threads is found here http://forums.adobe.com/thread/622755 which is for Photoshop but should work for PSE as well.

Was this from Word or OS X? What was the exact wording of the message? How much RAM is installed in your computer? What version of OS X are your running? How large is your hard drive and how much free space is on it?

when trying to download yosemite it sais that i do not have enough memory. when i look at my memory use it shows that 111.00gb of space is used by movies but when i go th the movie folder it is empty. how can i remove the non existant movies.
Freeing Up Space on The Hard Drive
1. See Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks' Storage Display.
2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
4. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.
5. See Where did my Disk Space go?.
6. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.
You will need a minimum of 10-12 GBs of free space to install Yosemite, however, that is a bare minimum and should be at least twice that amount. -
I just added two external firewire drives and they keep going to sleep. I did not have this problem when using USB external drives. I have turned off "put disks to sleep" in power preference.
It is not clear if these are the same drives, just connected
differently, or different drives?
One thing that may be happening is that the drives firmware
itself is putting it to sleep when inactive. Many drives on
the market have ths feature and it is turned on by default
and require a drive utility from the manufacturer to disable it. -

In some Middle East countries, FaceTime is banned. If your phone originates from one of these countries, it does not have have FaceTime. This feature is permanently disabled in those phones.

I have an iPhone 5, yesterday it wasn't receiving any signal. I reset it and when it cam back on it said plug into iTunes, i did that but now it comes up with error 9006 and 39. What do i do, i have tried different wires, and different plug in holes, I've left it for the night and tired again this morning.
Error code 9006 is related to the computer's security software settings, 39 is not listed inResolve iOS update and restore errors try turning the security/anti-virus software off if you are using something like that. Then you may need to restore via the recovery mode since that is what the graphic of a USB wire connecting to iTunes means, it has already entered recovery mode...see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 for instructions on recovery mode restoring.

That is probably a lot of stuff you do not want on your iPhone. So this can be handled a few different was. For you current situation, you can delete the apps directly on your iPhone by holding on the app until it starts to jiggle and then tap on the X of all the apps that you do not want. The second thing you can do is before you sync with iTunes, look at the app section on your iPhone to know what gets transfer to it and you can deselect items that you do not want. Lastly, if you download content on your iPad and it is a universal app, you can actually download it directly to your iPhone by looking at your past purchases and download it directly from the App Store. Have a BETA version of 0S-7 that was on my iPhone5 that I bought from my son. Activated it with my Apple ID and it's been working great for over a month.
Last night my phone came up with a screen that said "Activate iPhone". So i've tried to no avail.
When hookup up via USB cable to iTunes on laptop, a message pops up that says: "The software on my iPhone has expired and must be updated to a newer version".
How do I do that?
