I do not want advertisements below my play list

fix it

i do not want a sink full of dirty dishes in my kitchen. fix it!!!
for the love of life, i wish the solution was just as easy... one single tiny mouseclick and it's gone. forever!!!
why are people getting so wound up by this? am I forgetting, being a software developer myself, just exactly how stupid some users are?
i think actually, apple have shot themselves in the foot in many ways. they've made OSX so easy to use and intuitive that they've nurtured a generation of users, who've lost the ability to think and do things for themselves!!!

I want to create a play list based on beats per minute. Is this possible?
I have selected show bpm on my itunes screen but there are no numbers there.

Tracks do not come with BPM information included, either from the iTunes Store nor when you import a CD. You need to enter in the BPM information yourself. There are applications for Mac that can analyze tracks and determine (more or less) the BPM automatically, and there may be something similar for Windows. Otherwise you'll have to determine the BPM yourself and enter that information in the field for each track.

  • ITunes 11.1 and / or the Podcast app on iOS 7 will not allow me to create play lists in iTunes. Is there an app that will allow me to create podcast plays lists and play them on the iPhone running iOS7 ?

iOS 7 will not alow podcasts lists in the music app so we have to use the podcast app
but iTunes 11.1 and / or the Podcast app on iOS 7 will not show podcast play lists created in iTunes (well maybe it does but clicking on the podcasts app causes iTunes to freeze so can not select)
sometime some folders created in iTunes have appeared with the Podcast app but others not.
creating an on the go list in my iphone is agony - I have over 100 podcasts I have subscribed to and when creating a list you can not view by most recently downloadded podcast
AND you can't search (no search bar) so I have to scroll through to find a podcast that might have been updated - but they are not in any logocal order that I can work out (not alphbetical or date added).
Video podcasts are mixed with audio
podcasts I delete (unsubscribe to) keep coming back
    its a disaster
my question is there an alternative iPhone app that works with iTunes
no I don't want an app where I have to download to the phone directly, thats 100 subscriptions I will have to make agaian

Agree about the disaster part. I haven't found a fix within iTunes.
I gave up and switched to downcast 2 days ago. Even though it was a hassle to re-subscribe to all my podcasts, im so much happier.
To make switching easier, I found that in iTunes you can "get info" on the podcast and copy the RSS address to the clipboard. Put all of these in a message note. When iCloud syncs the note to your phone, you can copy and paste the urls into downcast one at a time to subscribe.
Downcast has crashed on me occassionally when I'm subscribing to feeds, but so far it has recovered gracefully each time and no data was lost.

  • I've created a play list on itunes but only want to transfer the play list manually, not sync entire ipod due to large size of itunes file. Playlist is made but I can't seem to drag to the ipod

I've created a playlist for my ipod but want to add it manually instead of using the full sync feature as I have a rather large music file in itunes but am trying to add to a 30 gig pod. How do I do this?

See this article for information on manually managing your iPod's contents.

  • How to view songs that were recently downloaded, but not yet assigned to a play list?

I am using the new iTunes, version 11.0.2. In the older version, there was a category for last downloads. This allowed me to to view all the downloads in one place then assign them to a playlist. Is this hidden somewhere or there is another way to see the downlods then move them?

Thanks for the tip, but I do not see a "recently added" when I view playlist. Above my created playists there is one called "purchased". This reflects those I purchased plus those downloaded from Starbucks. But this is a growing list. Perhaps I need to clear it after I download.
You cannot clear the Purchased playlist unless you delete the songs from your library. It is a smart playlist with all your purchases.
    Create a new smart playlist.
Limit to x items/size by most recently added.

  • I own 2 iPods and want to share a play list

Maybe I can't do this, maybe I was being daft, but I bought an iPod shuffle for the gym and car thinking I would be able to share my 'Favourites' playlist from my 5th Gen iPod...
...well if its possible then please tell me how - I need help!!!
I can't even seem to register the shuffle when I connect it to my PC.

We have two shuffles and I can sync the playlists. When you connect your second iPod you should be able to register it and then continue to sync. What is the message you are getting? If you have another computer try connecting the second iPod and registering that way. Then move it back to the original computer to sync it.

  • Move purchase Itunes that are currently not wanted.

I have purchased over 200 songs from Itunes, I purchased alot of unwanted songs for myself, due to purchasing them for my grandfather just so I could make him a CD. I do not want to delete these songs, as I do like them, I just do not want them on "my music" list.

You could uncheck them as Pamela suggested, or use a 2nd library without them.

  • Ipod has stopped putting songs into the recently played list, Any ideas Y?

My ipod has stopped counting songs and also now wont put any songs into the recently played playlist and its really annoying- Any ideas on how i can sort this out? I've reset the ipod which has done nothing and i have also updated itunes but again to no avail- Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
    Lisa

I am also having this (or a similar) problem. For years I had an Auto Playlist of Podcasts with "Play Count is Zero"/Live updating rules so they were removed each time I synced my iPod after I listened to them. Recently, the Playlist has stopped updating. That is, the podcasts stay in the playlist because the play counts never update. They show in the podcast library with 0 plays no matter how many times I play them on my iPod.
I also noticed that none of songs I play have their playcounts updated in the Library after I play them on my iPod. All the syncing seems to be going one way (from the PC to the iPod and not the other way around). I picked a song with a playcount of 1 and it over and over just to test it out and no dice/no update.
Any clues? Is there a setting I am missing? I tried resetting the iPod.... And the iPod played tunes/casts are also not appearing in the Recently Played list....

  • Play list or Library

I have an extensive library and three i pods currently in use. I have quite a few custom play lists. Is there any way to generate a list of my library songs that are NOT on one of my play lists?

Create a smart playlist that names all the other playlists you have in iTunes with a rule Playlist>Is Not>Playlist Name. This will then show any songs that aren't in any of the named playlists. For example:
Open iTunes and go to Edit>Create Smart Playlist.
    Match "All" the following rules
    Playlist>Is Not>Playlist 1
    Playlist>Is Not>Playlist 2
    Playlist>Is Not>Playlist 3
    Check the box "Live Updating"
Choose "Playlist" from the first drop down menu, "Is not" from the second and the "Playlist Name" from the third. Click on the Plus sign to add another line. When you have added more than one line you get the choice to match "any" or "all" the rules.

I share my iTunes accont with my kids. Many of the songs that they purchase, I do not want in my iphone Library, and I don't want them to play when I have my phone on shuffle. How an I remove unwanted songs from my phone library withot affecting their devices?

These are the downsides of a shared library because if you delete the song from your library it will get also automatically  deleted from your kids library. If you want to proceed then please follow this guide: https://support.apple.com/kb/HT4915

I have 2 Apple ID's, how do I delete the old one as its interferring with my new account and the music I have already purchased through ITunes does not want to play.  Any suggestions?

Why would you create a new account?
All purchases will be tied to the account from which they were purchased.
You will have to authorize your computer for all the accounts from which music is purchased.

  • HT4436 Since installing Ios7 280 music tunes out of a total of 360 will now only play when I'm within range of WiFi. How can I get them back on my Iphone 4s and scrap this stupid icloud that I did not want or ask for in the first place.

Since installing Ios7   280 music tunes out of a total of 360 will now only play when I'm within range of WiFi. The remainder now appear with the stupid Icloud logo beside them. How can I get them back on my Iphone 4s and scrap this stupid icloud that I did not want or ask for in the first place. Why can't rotten apple ask if you want the dam icloud rather than just stealing everything without permission and then you can only have access to it through wifi.

Wow, just posting and it seems that there is a solution that is working for me...
What I've did is I turned off iTunes Match on my iPhone, then turned in on again. Now in my iTunes library on my mac I can get the duplicates to be matched or uploaded to iCloud with a right-click, add to iCloud. iTunes Match starts to check the songs and everything is done correctly. Pretty nice!

  • How can I get an album to play in order on Itunes?  The songs keep skipping all around to other albums that I did not want to listen to at that time?

It sounds like you might have the shuffle button at the bottom left of the iTunes (the button with the squiggly lines).
If that's not the case, then maybe you just need to sort your library by album by clicking the album tab at the top.
Is your music in a playlist, or are you trying to play it from the entire library?

    Hello Apple.
It seems you have gone to great lengths to improve accessibility in many areas of the iPad. Why was this obvious problem with icon text size missed?  (It's not with the Mac.). And for so long too.
Do you employ people with actual accessibility problems to help you do UI design?
I think too, that some buttons are too close for people who might have motor control problems.
I love my iPad but I fear as I age, the iPad might not keep up with me.
