I do not want my cloud purchases showing up in list on iPod

Surely there has to be a way to only show the music that is actually on the ipod in the lists. It drives me CRAZY trying to find the music on my iPod touch through the endless sea of music I have bought from the store over the years. Please help

Go to Settings>iTunes and App Store and turn off Show All.

I do not like and do not want to pay monthly, also I do not need Photoshop just want lightroom. I want to know if I can just buy and download Lightroom or if I buy the retail package I can just have the program as standalone product.

Your browser has to have tracking enabled and open a pop-up for Checkout to work. Browser add-ons and custom settings can block this from happening. In Firefox I had to temporarily disable Ghostery to advance past the Checkout button. You may have a similar tracker/pop-up disabler in your browser that you need to turn off temporarily. Alternatively try a different browser with no custom settings. Doing this I was able to download and install a $79.99 upgrade version, so it does work, but they don't make it easy to find or do. They want you to subscribe instead. (In fairness, though, you'd have this same Checkout issue trying to subscribe to CC if your browser settings block advancement past the Checkout button.)

Do not want to sync TV shows to computer

This may have been discussed elsewhere, but I cannot find it. I have purchased and downloaded an entire season of a TV show which I will ONLY watch on my television. I have purposely NOT chosen it to sync to my Mac, but it is slowly, very slowly, syncing all 13 episodes to my computer. I repeat, I DO NOT want these shows on my computer, iPhone, etc. Why does AppleTV do it anyway? Also, my iPhoto photos were synced perfectly yesterday and completely missing today!

the appletv is doing what it is designed to do... ie sync purchased content back to your master itunes library (which is on your pc/laptop).
the appletv should not be used as a primary storage location (it should only have copies of your content).
if the appletv was to fail or require a factory restore, you would lose all your content if it had not sync'd back to itunes.

How do I get a DVD of Adobe CS 6? I DO NOT WANT the cloud!

I have really slow internet service and a data cap. Everything I download off the internet has to be after midnight. I absolutely do not want to use the cloud. I also read about a lot of problems getting on and off of the cloud. I just want a DVD with CS6's most recent version so I can load it from that.

Missing purchased content - do not want to duplicate purchase

I have always used a partition on my hard drive to keep my iTunes media. I have always made sure that my library points to an iTunes folder on my e:\ drive. Yesterday, I did a complete restore of my OS and reinstalled iTunes, pointing the library to my partition which is unaffected by my OS restoration process.
Today, I have an entire season of a TV program missing. My question is:
1. How did this happen? I'm assuming it's gone, since downloads are placed locally in the \users directory. Is there a way to force the program to download purchased content into a specified file?
2. More importantly, since this purchase is gone, I'd like to avoid a duplicate purchase by hitting the "buy" button. It won't tell you that you're being charged or not until it's too late. How do I go about obtaining this one season of a TV program without having to purchase it again?

Copy does exactly what the word "copy" implies.
If you properly specify a destination folder, then the copy should go in the destination folder.

There aren't 2 seasons of suits. There are only two episodes of the first season.

I connected my IPad 2 to my PC and it automatically synced much more music than I wanted it to. I deleted all the music I did not want but it all shows up in light grey in Music but it doesn't play. What is going on? I think I fixed my sync problem .

Did you select all of the music to sync by clicking on the playlists or albums or whatever you use in iTunes - in order for them to sync? Or did you click on Entire Music Library if you want all of your music on the iPad?

HI, my daughter disabled her iPod so I had to restore it back to her originally settings. This put all of my personal contacts on her iPod. How do I remove my contacts from her iPod 5?

On her iPod go to Settings>iCloud and turn off Contacts. However, she can turn them back on.
Best would be to:
Create a NEW account/ID for her using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before. Make sure you specify a birtdate that results in an age of 13 years or more
Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
Use the new ID on her iPod but only for:
Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
Settings>FaceTime
Settings>GameCenter
and Settings>iCloud if you want her to have separate Contacts Calendar and some other things.
Continue to use the same/common Apple ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores so you can share purchases.

TS1382 I'd like to listen to just the audio portion of a itunes video podcast. I do not want the video in my library or on my ipod. Is there a setting which allow this?

Any help would be appreciated as I really want to hear the podcast on my Nano- not view it because I listen to these podcasts while I drive.

You can change the Media Type of the podcast to Music in iTunes from under the Podcast's Options tab of its Get Info tab., but other than that there aren't really any other options.

Itunes 7 not authorizing my music purchased on the store to my ipod

I hope someone can help but I just upgraded to itunes 7 and it hasn't been fun to say the least. Anyway here is my issue I have 29 songs that I can't play on my ipods that I purchased more then a year ago. I went to the support page to research the issue and I found a page that told me that I needed to authorized my songs (which should of happened when I purchase them the 1st time) so you can sense the frustration. So I go to the menu in itunes to authorize my music which looks like it does this but when I connect my ipod again it still won't copy the songs. Also prior to this I went through the songs independently to authorized and still couldn't get those songs uploaded to my ipods. I am telling you I am witts end. I am so confused on what is wrong.
Side note: I feel like I might be going back to buying cds so I can not go through this hassle.

There are a couple possible issues. First, in iTunes, select one of the songs that isn't copying to the iPod and play it. With luck, as soon as you do that you'll be asked to authorize your computer, or it will play. Select another songs that doesn't transfer and see if it will play. Now make sure those two songs are selected for syncing and try to sync the iPod again. Did they make it over to the iPod and do they play? Did the other songs that previously wouldn't sync make it over to the iPod too?
If the answer was 'yes' we're done. If the answer was no, download the most recent iPod updater and apply it. Then try syncing your iPod again. If you still can't get it to sync those songs, come back.

I do not want to 'follow the flow' as I have been instructed to do by other parents in order to obtain an apple id for her by changing her birth year. I believe in truth. I believe that even a 'little white lie' simply adds a burden in our childrens hearts and allows them to think it is okay. As I was told, "It is okay, how is Apple going to find out?" I do not want to travel that path. Her friends have ipods, our 9 year old cousin has an ipod....Help, Honest Mom in need of a solution.

She can use an iPod. She just can't have her own account in the iTunes Store. The restriction is on using the iTunes Store, not on using apps or playing content purchased from it. You just need to set up an iTunes Store account and buy items for her rather than having her do it on her own.
