I just installed Firefox 5. How can I remove the Bing search from the address bar. I don't want to see Bing at all. I tired the Firefox options, right-clicking on the search field and the toolbar selection drop-down but could not find a way to get rid of that unwanted search window.

Answer was already in my first reply. Insert an interactive object: shape button, normal button or click box. They can pause the slide, typical pausing time (see Timing Properties panel) is at 1.5secs for shape buttons and other buttons, at the end of its timeline for the click boxes that are invisible to the user. Interactive objects have a Success and a Failure event, when they click on it the Success event is fired and that event can trigger an action like 'Go to Next Slide'. You'll find those actions in the Properties panel for that object, Actions tab. User can read or look as long as he wants, and only when he clicks that object he will move to the next slide. Since you'll probably want that object to be clicked to move to the next slide on every slide, I recommend to use a shape button. That is the only one that can be put on a master slide (maybe the main master slide), or on the first slide and timed for the rest of the project (Timing Properties panel). More details in this post:

Never extend a slide duration for the purpose you mention, because that is just increasing the file size for no reason. -
Hi, I can't insert a pontuaction mark in a password (which I did until yesterday) to acess one of my accounts. I don't remember the master password, so I can't change that one. I have a MacBook Pro and 10.6.8. Could you help me, please.
What I'd do in this situation:
connect both macs to same LAN
turn them on
login to new mac
go network, find your old mac
connect using "connect as" button (up right of window)
use credentials from login you can't access - mean user name and password. If you still can't add that ~ you can copypaste password there from any text editor
You will get full access to all data of that blocked account - just copy all you need
Other way:
connect both macs to same LAN
turn them on
login to new mac
on new mac run "migration assistant" from Utilities folder
tell there that you want import account data from other mac
follow instructions of migration assistant
thus you'll import account to new mac - but probably with filewault enabled and same password, I didn't check this in such situation

When you log out of the joint account, you should be asked if you want to keep the contacts, you do. When you log into your new account you should be asked if you want to merge contacts, you do.
If you have already signed into your new account and not taken these options, the simplest thing to do might be to add your wife's account back as a secondary account in system preferences > mail, contacts & calendars. In groups in address book you can drag contacts from your wife's contacts onto your contact group to copy them. -

I have and E-mail address that comes up when I start typing an address into Mail when I create a new E-mail and this particular E-mails address is not associated with any of my Contacts.

If that email address is your Apple ID, I don't believe you can delete it.
If you have your cell phone number selected as your Caller ID, when sending an iMessage it will be sent from your phone number.
Since your Apple ID email address is registered as well, if someone has your email address in their contacts, they can select your email address to send you an iMessage in addition to your phone number.
When this recipient says you are sometimes sending an iMessage via email, it is received as an email with the Mail app on their iPhone, not with the Messages app? -

Under Options-Privacy-Show Cookies I have a long list of entries. Remove Cookies or Remove All does not clear any cookie. Under Firefox profiles, I renamed the cookies.sqlite file and restarted Firefox. New cookies.sqlite file was created and the file size was reduced. Cookie content appears to be removed (i.e. site settings/logon info removed) but repeating the Options/Privacy/Show Cookies step still displays the older cookie names. I have tried all the different settings of clearing upon exit, clear recent history , etc but the result is the same.
The cookie name can not be deleted. Selecting a cookie and trying to Remove Cookie just causes the highlighted selection to move to the next cookie entry. Haven't used a sqlite manager to examine the file content so I'm unsure what is in the sqlite file.Unfortunately, the option to remove that feature is not available.

If you are the original owner of the phone, you can force it into recovery mode to restore it as explained here: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. You will then go through the setup screens on the phone to reactivate it. This will require entering the ID and password that were used to activate the phone originally. -

If you don't have an icloud account, then icloud is not the thing that's popping up a window.
If you are being asked to enter a password when accessing itunes, then the problem may be that you have purchased items (apps, songs, etc) on the device that were purchased using a different itunes account than the one you currently have defined on your device.
Purchased items are forever associated with the itunes account (the apple ID) that was used to make the purchase. If you change the ID on the device, you won't be able to update any of them. You'll have to purchase them again. -
