I had similar problem with java trying launch my Illustrator CS 6 after upgrading to Yosemite and I found out that link on apple site is dead Java for OS X 2014-001, I can not download dmg file from here. It seems to be enough to create empty folders at “/System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk” and “/System/Library/Java/Support/Deploy.bundle”, to make Illustrator use Jave SE 8 as it should.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. Just double-click the Home button, and when the panel of apps appears along the bottom edge of the screen, flick the row from left to right with your finger. When i click more info it transfers me to an apple page which never loads, its just a blank page. I downloaded Java SE 6 like it says it needs but it did nothing. All of my other Adobe programs such as bridge, dreamweaver, lightroom, Photoshop, indesign, and flash all work except for illustrator. What can I do to fix this?

Go to Apple and look for the Java for OSX 2014-001 link. Download from there and install it.

Hello, I have successfully downloaded Creative Cloud and from there downloaded AI but when I try to open it all that happens is a webpage opens with three tutorials. The program itself doesn't open.

I have downloaded Creative Cloud and you can see that I have downloaded AI or so I thought. When I try to open it I just get taken to the web page shown with the tutorials. There is a download option in the top right hand corner and when I select that it just opens up creative cloud again.
I am sure I am doing something that makes me a complete idiot but I am not sure what else to do.

From what I can gather, it sounds like you're having issues restoring your device. After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains helpful advice concerning recovery mode:
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Use recovery mode
You might need to use recovery mode to restore your device in these cases:
iTunes doesn't recognize your device or says it's in recovery mode.
You see the Apple logo onscreen for several minutes with no progress bar.
You see the Connect to iTunes screen.
Learn what to do if you see the progress bar onscreen for several minutes.
To put your device into recovery mode, follow these steps:
Turn off your device and leave it off.
Plug in your device's USB cable to a computer with iTunes.
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
When you see this screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 again.
When your device is connected, iTunes will open. You'll see a message saying that iTunes has detected an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore your device. Restoring in recovery mode will erase your device. If you previously synced with iTunes or iCloud, you might be able to restore from your backup.

Learn what to do if you don't see your device in iTunes for OS X, or in iTunes for Windows.

I'm not sure what you mean by "iTunes is not enabled" -- if you read the above link, the question is whether you've previously synced with the iTunes application on a computer. If you have, you connect to iTunes on that computer. If not, you follow the "Use Recovery Mode" procedure near the bottom of http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212

You need to purchase and use a Mac OS X 10.4 package; the Family Pack isn't needed if you will only be installing it onto one machine. As long as you have at least 8GB space free on the hard disk, nothing else is required.

Your expectations are not based in reality.
Your G4 will not run iCloud. There will be no upgrade from Mobile Me to iCloud for you with that machine unless you do it manually, and only mail will work without further expenditure.
