I get the yellow thingy when somene calls but how the hell can I answer when I don't get the pop-up box? So it just closes automatically lol and I have to call back. Always.
So yeah the pop-up box would be REALLY bloody great for me.

Why do I get constant Game Center notifications when I'm playing games? Seriously, if there isn't an easy way to turn off these notifications, I'll be switching to a Microsoft phone at my next upgrade. I don't want this garbage popping up while I play my games. How is Apple ignoring their customers, exactly? If you don't want Game Center, why did you sign into it?
Sign out, launch an enabled game. Game Center pops up, close it, launch the game again, it pops up, close it again.
Now it doesn't pop up any longer.

Following upgrading to iOS7 I lost all sound for my 4s except for the ring when someone calls. I can't listen to music, I don't get text or email notifications. I have tried a wipe and reinstall, I've tried hard rebooting, I tried erasing all of my music and reinstalling it, I checked my Do Not Disturb, and I tried the AssistiveTouch mute button. Nothing. I can't even play music through bluetooth or headphones. Can anyone help please as its driving me mad!
I experience this problem too. I am using iPhone4 and just upgrade it to iOS7. And now I can not make outgoing call. I checked all the setting, and nothing wrong. I even replaced my sim card with the new one, still can not help.

I only get ringing or sounds/notification when directly in Skype. How do I see/hear I am getting a call when Im in another program/app.
Hi, I am seeing the same thing, if the app is running in the background I do not get a notification if there is a new message.
In my case I think the message is not even being downloaded. I notice that it shows up a few seconds AFTER I re-open the app screen. people think I am ignoring them when I really just didnt know they had sent me a message.
I don't think I have notifications disabled, how do I check? -

It sounds like you are not getting notified when recieving a text message on your phone. I recommend starting by verifying that Messages is set up for notifications with:
Check Settings > Notification Center to ensure that the app is configured for notifications. If notifications do not appear in the Notification Center, verify that the Notification Center setting for the app is enabled.

Help I don't know if this is a facebook or an iphone problem:
All of the sudden I don't get push notifications of group posts anymore on my iphone. I do get them on my macbook so they are turned on. I still get notifications of comments on my posts and comments on post where I commented before. I also get notification about messages I am getting but not when somebody posts something new in a group. Checked my settings and when I click on the group name on my phone the push notifications are turned on and when I edit them it says all posts and send push notifications to my mobile device is checked. In the drop down menu in settings it is checked where it says group posts and comments. In my phone settings in notifications it says notification centre on, show 10 items, banners and everything else is on. Any ideas what else to do???? This is so frustrating!

You have Settings > Sounds > New Mail set to a sound, and you don't have notifications muted : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4085

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. My iPhone 5 won't use 3G when 4G isn't available. I live in the middle of nowhere, but with my iPhone 4 I could use the Internet on 3G just fine without needing wifi. Now I don't get anything unless I'm on wifi. My phone says '4G' but then says 'could not activate cellular data' or gives me the gray google failed because you dont have internet page. I have AT&T if that matters. I just want to get Internet and my email like I used to be able to. Slow 3G is fine with me, but I need it to work on my iPhone 5. Can anyone help me?

2009 24-inch iMac 3.06GHz (EMC no. 2267). I don't get any audio when connecting my Sony HD TV to my iMac via mini DisplayPort. Is there a fix or hardware upgrade? I'm using a Kanex Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable w/ audio support.
You can connect the audio from your iMac to your TV using a mini jack (like headphones plug) to rca (regular red and white audio connectors used on every TV,DVD, etc) cable.
On your TV, you need to be able to set the audio for the HDMI input you will use to "analog" and connect the rca end of the cable to the analog inputs on your TV. -
Why can't I update my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1? Every time I try it gets all the way done downloading it; however when it's processing the file the page tells me "There is a problem downloading the software for the iPhone. Network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active. or try again later." and next to the file it has err = -3259. I have tried this 17 times and it won't work. My iTunes is completely up to date. I have made sure that my connection is fine and I have tried turning my firewall off with no avail. This has happened to me before but usually the update will go through after 2-3 tries, never to this extent. I don't know what to do. Help!

I have a iPhone 3GS and my husband has an iPhone 4, both phones are updated. We added iMessage the them both and at first it was great, the messages appear in the text messages under the phone contacts and when I send a text message it will either be a green message or a blue one for (iMessage) depending on the signal. Now when my husband sends a text message to me I don't get them all or some days none. When I send him a text message he gets them from my email address. I cannot send him a standard text anymore my phone only wants to iMessage, so if the signal is not right it just sits there undelivered???

And I have tried countless times, now iv given up trying and I don't use texting to either, but everyone else no problem.You and your husband can share a store account and still have seperate iCloud accounts for your contacts, bookmarks and stuff like that. Click here for instructions to make an apple account without entering a credit card. Make sure you use a different email address for each apple account.
Set up your iPhone/iPad whatever using the new account for iCloud. Then go into settings/store and sign in with your purchasing account, you may need to sign out of the other account. To the best of my knowledge, your household is allowed to share purchased legally, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Once you each have your own devices set to your own accounts you can set them to backup to that account and it will keep all your contacts seperate. -
I don't get why my Apple ID keeps saying this device is already associated with an Apple ID and something about 90 days but also it doesn't let me download any of my pre orders when available it has happened to me twice and my past purchases can someone contact me and give me some help sorting this out

I'm getting a similar problem with my Macbook Pro. itunes match was working fine until two days ago when i created another 'user id' for the laptop and then an itunes account for that user under their profile. Now i cant turn on itunes match on my itunes under my user account. Contacted Apple today who said to use the Express Lane and email the problem and they might be able to make an 'exception' on the account. Otherwise I'll have to wait 88 days to access a lot of my music on the macbook pro. itunes match is still working on the iphone 4S and ipad2.
Can anyone help? The only thought was too re-stream the laptop. Ive already tried deauthorising the other user but it made no difference.

I have imported a new CD into my iTunes library on my PC. When I sync my iPhone with iTunes (on my pc), I don't get the new songs (or new CD). I have them on my PC but not on my iPhone. This just started to act this way. It was working in January 2013.

I have an issue with my MacBook pro (MAC OS X 10.8.3) when trying to access Internet. I am behind an ADSL box (Orange). I have a PC on the same LAN which accesses Internet perfectly via the same Box.
On the MAC, I have tried WIFI and Ethernet. And have same issue on both. I have checked the IP address (the ADSL box is a DHCP server) but the MAC doesn't get a proper IP and network mask I tried a manual IP address setup and it doesn't get better. I have setup the DNS servers for my Internet provider, but I get DNS error. I have tried 2 Internet browsers (Chrome and Safari), both have the same issue.
I tried to put my MAC on a different ADSL box (I have 2 acccesses with 2 providers at home) and get the same issue.
I also noticed a havy CPU load on the mDNSResponder process (at least 30%). I have restarted it, but no improvement.
Last, I have repared the permissions.
From those trials, it seems that the problem is on the Mac side. But I am completelly without any new idea, so I need help

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.
