I don´t have a mighty mouse but my mac thinks there is one.
Hi,
I don´t have a mighty mouse, I only got a normal Microsoft mouse.
It works totally fine but every few minutes my computer sais that I my mighty mouse is connected and then another few minutes later it sais its disconected. My Macbook thinks there is a mighty mouse allthough its not. Is there anything I can do?
(I tried everything, also another mouse didn´t solve the problem.)

My keyboard will connect wirelessly but my mouse will not. I have tried many times, put new batteries in etc. The Bluetooth appears to be on (as the wireless keyboard is working). I don't have a 'wired' mouse so I can't get into preferences etc. Is the mouse dead perhaps? The green light is flickering so it should be ok???

Sully (frustrated Irishman)From what you say I would suggest the batteries are not connecting properly.
First, thoroughly clean all contacts, both inside the mouse and the contact points of the batteries. Use an alcohol based cleaner (whisky will do, hic!) dampen (not wet) cotton buds for cleaning.
Then check to see if they fit firmly. If you can shake your mouse and hear things are loose, that will be the batteries. Check the make. Apple and Duracell, in that order, are the best batteries. Where slight undersizing has been reported they are with other than the foregoing.
You can resolve the size problem with appropriate packing but that will always be a makeshift solution. After, reassemble, turn on the mouse and with luck, away you go.
Hopefully this will solve your problem but in any case let us know how you get on.

I can't access my itunes store, it says I don't have an internet connection but I do. I tried updating to the newest version of itunes, turned off my firewall, checked to make sure itunes was allowed in my internet options. what else can i do?

My web site is hosted in office live small business. Recently something changed and now I get a message when I try to log in that I must have Explorer or firefox to use the site. I have both but they are not being recognized by office live. I have contacted Microsoft and they say my account is working properly on their end. What to do??
If you already created an Apple ID, you have to enter a credit card in order to use that ID now. If you don't have a credit card at all, you will have to create a new Apple ID to use without a credit card and you will need to have another email address in order to do this.
First you will have to sign out of your current ID in Settings> iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. You can tap the ID and tap Sign Out. Now you can proceed with creating a new Apple ID according to the instructions in here.

You are saying that you don't have a credit card, but if you had one, you could enter the credit card in order to use the ID that you already created, but you never have to use it. You can use gift cards or just download free content. But unless you create the ID as outlined above, you must enter payment details. -

A Verizon corporate store can provide you with a nano SIM and activate it for you. Corporate stores do not charge for SIMS. I don't know what a reseller might or might not do. -

I tried to download the new Lion software, but was blocked. Apparently I don't have the Leopard version on my Mac. I have attempted to download THAT version but it doesn't appear to be available as a download. Is that correct?

I have an iPad and iPhone but am stuck with Tiger and Leopard on my old powerbook G4. Will I still be able to get my email on my PowerBook after I upgrade to iCloud? I don't have the cash to upgrade the mac right now. Just wondering what my email options are. Thank You.
You will be able to get your mail on the PowerBook. The calendars (iCal) will not sync; any events added to iPad and/or iPhone will not sync with the Mac but will sync with each other (that is: the mobile devices which are on iCloud). My MacBook Pro (Lion) and iPad2 (iOS5) sync fine; I still get my Mail on iBook G4, MacBook Pro (Snow Leopard) and iMac (Snow Leopard).

I installed the latest version of iTunes on my Windows XP. I can launch it but it won't connect to the store because it says I don't have a network connection but I do because I'm on the internet right now! Help!

I have a ipad air and i don´t have the icon of the airplay. I don´t have an apple tv but i want use an app to play the screen of the ipan on pc. I already try but definitely i only have the airdrop icon.
The AirPlay feature is only available whe you have an Apple Tv. You can mirror the display form your iPad if the iPad and Apple Tv are both connected to the same WPA (or the same Wi-Fi). Air Drop is a way of sharing files, such as pictures, PDFs, and text documents. Hope this helps.

OK since your security is set to WPA why do you want to go to WEP? DS? If everything is configured correctly you should not have to change anything. If you are connecting another device and forgot what your WPA setting were just go into the router and take a look see.

I have the clips in Imovie, but I can't play them as "the source clips are missing". I searched a little bit and saw that some people have had the same problem, but the difference is that I actually don't have the source clips on my mac anymore. Is there any way to fix this, or can't you play the movies without them?

As Karsten writes - NO
This is due to that You are using a NON-destructive Video editor. Meaning the raw-material goes into one bin (folder) and then it's not touched any more.
Your Project is a text document referring to the raw material and what of it and how it's to be played - This is Your movie. So there are no Movie Project - until it is rendered and saved as such.
This is also why - the Event's folder is enormous and Project folder very tiny - there is no movie here - just a conductor sheet on howto play Your Event folder as a Movie.
Parallel - there are no Symphony in a note-book either - just how it's supposed to be played.

A bit later I discovered that Photo Stream was not working on my Windows 7 PC either. If I opened the iCloud control panel and put a check in the box to turn on Photo Stream, and then closed and reopened the control panel, the check mark was gone again. Also, nothing happened when I clicked on the options button beside the Photo Stream check box. I already had version 2 of the iCloud control panel so I could not upgrade further.
I ended up uninstalling the iCloud control panel, rebooting, downloading a fresh copy from Apple, and reinstalling it. This worked and I now have photo stream working on my Windows 7 system as well. -
