I don't have Lightroom in my App manager?
can anyone help. I want to download LR4 but when I select download from the Apps and Services page it does not appear on the list in my cloud App manager. I have a Macbook Pro i5 running 10.7
Further to this I have now downloaded a trial version of LR4 from the Adobe site which will work for 30 days, I did read if I logged into my cloud account it would pick it up? No luck so far as it just asks for a serial number or offers a link to buy one! Can anyone help.
First you will need to remove the trial and reinstall through the Adobe Application Manager. Looking at your original post it does appear that you meet the minimum system requirements so it should be made available through AAM.
Please try reinstalling the Adobe Application Manager from https://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774. This may allow Photoshop Lightroom to become visible within AAM.
If you still continue to face difficulties can you please open Photoshop and go to Help>Deactivate. It should like similar to the screen shot posted below.

Working on that now. I'm just getting frustrated that everytime I run updates for the phone I end up with tech problems that I have to spend time solving as opposed to updates that actually improve my usage. Now I will once again get to spend hours reloading my phone all for updates that didn't affect my usage in the first place.

I was given an App Store gift card (I don't have any devices for apps; I'm just an iTunes/music gal) what to do?
No gift receipt given with card; don’t feel right telling the person “thanks but this is wrong.” Especially since the nature of the thank you gift is from an emotional event for the gift giver.
My assumption is that if I attempt to redeem the App Store gift card that iTunes will apply it to a separate "ledger" for apps only and I will NOT be able to purchase music with the gift money.
I did not do what I did for this person with the thought of "oooh what I can I get in return?" I did it because I felt like it.Yep, exactly. In order to use FaceTIme, you will need to purchase a device that has FaceTime enabled. In otherwords, not one from Saudi Arabia or any other country in which it is prohibited. Your phone will never be cable of FaceTime. You may be able to use something like Skype, though. -

Yes. You will lose everything on the device. However. If you have been syncing your son's iPad with iTunes, all of his content should be in the iTunes library on your computer, and you can just sync the content back to the iPad. All of the app data will be gone, but you will get all of his apps, music, books, etc back onto the iPad.
If you don't sync with iTunes, you can still download all of the apps again as long as you use the same Apple ID hat you bough them with.
In either case, you will lose all app data - game saves, levels, achievements... And any other data or files that he has in other apps. -

Ipod touch is very slow, but I don't have a lot of apps?
I have a 4th gen Ipod touch, and lately it's been extremely laggy. I do not have many apps, and there is still around 45-50GB free on it. I use it primarily for music and it takes up 60-70% of what's on the Ipod. Whenever I try to play a song, I have to press the music app(oh whatever you call it the place where the songs go) at least 3 times before it actually displays a list of my songs. The attempts prior to that show the layout, but everything is completeky blank. And once I manage to play a song, it plays only the song I selected and then stops, making me repeat the whole ritual again. I've read other discussions on this topic, but the solutions seem to be restore it and don't overload it with apps... So I'm wondering why it's being like this. I've had it since June 2011 and is this a normal Ipod's lifespan (if it is that is extremely disappointing considering the amount of money paid)?
turn off the ipod and turn it back on after 5mins

How to stop irritating auto-reloading of the tabs (pages) [i don't have any extensions or apps]
Seems like this problem appeared quite often, nevertheless i spent an hour in search of an answer surfing the net, alas, nothing..
Problem: since today Safari started to reload almost every single page whenever i switch between tabs or sometimes even while im stil on the page. Fot example - i'm watching a movie, stoped it - switched to facebook tab to reply to my friend, then back to the tab with the video & no sooner i get back as the page with video auto-refreshes itself & i have to load movie again & look for the place i stoped watching the video to continue!
Device & program version: Macbook Pro, bought in july, Safari Version 5.1 (6534.50), No extensions or apps installed, & pls dont' say that it happens on particular pages, i visited the same ones yesterday & everything was ok, since today it's working all weird, and happens within all pages. But in the same time no system - once it reloads the page, other time im switching between the same very tabs it doesn't.
This is unacceptable & completely useless. Why there are no comments from Apple or Safari team, as if the problem doesnt exist? Not speaking of the problem solving process or tips.
Please, if someone knows how to stop this nightmare - tell me!!
Apple-team, I would love to hear your comments & in fact receive some help and get this problem fixed.. :\

So, when the site says to connect and follow the instructions, I can't because I've got no store application.
