I don't have Mini Bridge in my Photoshop

So I was making a GIF project and found out that I needed to use Mini Bridge but I don't have it in the tabs on the right side of Photoshop.
I tried going to Windows to open it through Extentions but it was greyed out. And I also went to Edit>Preferences to go open up startup scripts but the only things there was Interface, File Handling, Performance, Cursors, Transparency & Gamut, Units & Rulers, Guides Grid & Slices, Plug-in, and Type.
Can anyone please help me? It would be much appreciated

When I use Browse in Bridge it says
Error 2: Photoshop is Undefined

The Creative Cloud has three versions of Photoshop version 13, 14 and 15. You can install the ones you want I have them and CS2 installed.

I am trying to use the Mini Bridge in Adobe Photoshop CS6 (desktop) and all I get is "Waiting for Bridge CS6 ..." in the panel at the bottom of the screen.

I am running on a Core i7 iMac with 20GB or RAM and have already done the two applicable steps in the main Adobe help area relating to Switchboard (Error: Waiting for Bridge | Mini Bridge panel) to no avail. Any ideas?

Have you tried to start the bridge CS6 then open Photoshop CS6 try to use the mini bridge.
I have a problem on windows too. Sometimes when I open CS6 version 13.1.2 and try to use the mini bridge Its panels has a message Bridge must be running and there is a launch bridge button. When I use that button Bridge gets launched but may hangs before displaying its application window or anything in the mini bridge panel. I can terminate the bridge when this happens with windows task manager and start the bridge. After doing that the mini bridge launch button became a reconnect button using it mini bridge then work.
I can also start Bridge CS6 before Photoshop CS6 and mini bridge works as soon as Photoshop is up and running.

Minimizing Mini-Bridge & Timeline in Photoshop CS6

Quick question that I can't figure out. How do I minimize the Mini-Bridge and Timeline in Photoshop CS6? I have draged the window section as far down as possible. But, I have seen some PS6 screenshots were the timeline and mini-bridge lay flush with the bottom of the screen. And, once I do minimize them, how do I bring them back up again?

Hello again!
Have you tried double-clicking on the panel tabs? Tha tabs display the names of the panels (Timeline and Mini-Bridge)
This should minimize the panels - to open them, you can just double click the tabs again.

How do I add Mini-Bridge to my Photoshop CC 2014?

I was watching the l;earning video and saw the instructor had the Mini-Bridge in place in Photoshop, I wanted to know how to add that in mine?

Opening files through mini bridge, from within photoshop.

When opening files/images from within photoshop use adobe mini bridge, the files open slowly with a long delay?
Can't figure out why, but when files are open directly from photoshop it is lightning fast.
Running on a iMac OS X Yosemite
Version 10.10.2

Okay.. Yeah, that's why I'm running Windows 7 still
This may have to do with some of the bugs Apple introduced into Yosemite. They are working on a fix. Can't really think of much else, other than make sure everything is up to date. Maybe someone with more knowledge of Mini Bridge will find this post.

That bar is gone. You can open with Window/Extension/mini-bridge

Why don't Browse in Bridge command in photoshop cc 2014 work?

Okay here's excactly what I did. I opened a picture (JPG) and made a new layer from the background (Layer 0).
Next, I selected an area in the picture using the magnetic lasso tool.
Then, I clicked effects (FX) in the Layers window and made sure the correct layer was selected. I proceeded to add an Outer Glow. I increased the opacity to 100% for good measure.
When I clicked Ok to close the the layer styles window, the Layers window in the bottom right said that I have "Effects > Outer Glow" under "Layer 0" but the picture remained totally unchanged.
Photoshop tells me that a layer style should be there but nothing is there. Also, I used to do this exact method and it used to work fine; now, for some reason it's giving me a hard time.

How do I toggle Mini Bridge in my Photoshop?

I am a student and in my video lectures it shows instructions using the bottom Mini Bridge menu and I cannot get this feature to show in my Photoshop. Any help at all is greatly appreciated.

Mini bridge in CS6 Photoshop displaying grey thumbnails

I"m on a MAC platform and working with CS6 Photoshop with minibridge (thumbnails preview at the bottom). When I preview the images, the thumbnails are all grey.
Does anyone has an answer to switch back to normal view.

Thank you for replying to this discussion. The grey thumbnail preview occurs only in minibridge when I launched Photoshop CS6, not the case with the regular bridge. I can preview thumbnails with images in the regular bridge. Nonetheless, I've tried purging cache but to no avail, grey thumbnails still displaying in the mini bridge.

If you have mini-bridge disexpanded in photoshop then expand it, then they should load.

I have Photoshop CC 2014 on my Mac and cannot find Mini-bridge under file, window or in the online add-ons.

Was Mini-Bridge discontinued in Photoshop CC2014? It is not under the file or Window menus. I cannot find it under add-ons on line. I have a Mac, is that why I'm not seeing it? Any help would be very useful.

CS6 Mini Bridge - Thumbnail size and preview

I've just upgraded to CS6 (design & web premium) and was setting up my workspace in InDesign, and after adding (docking) Mini Bridge there seems to be no preview or anyway to change the size of the thumbnails I can view.
I use Mini Bridge a lot as we have folders that include 100+ assets in, and it's good to see a small thumbnail to quick scan, then to click on it to see more detail. Now all I can see is a maximum of 6 thumbnails, which means I will need to scroll a lot to find anything.
I've read the following topic from the PS CS6 Beta forum (http://forums.adobe.com/message/4286375#4286375#4286375), and was wondering if this "as designed" thinking has been rolled over to InDesign, meaning that in order to change the thumbnail size (with no preview), I have to have Mini Bridge undocked and if I want to see more detail, I have to enlarge the thumbnail, then reduce again to carry on searching?
If so, it seems like a massive oversight, as InDesign is a layout tool and having easy access to multiple documents to include (and to see what they are) is vital, which isn't helped by the seemingly arcane way to access folders.
Hopefully this is me just being a bit dim and missing something obvious, otherwise it's going to cause a lot of hassle in my day to day work.
If anyone has a definitive answer, that would be great.

Adobe needs to realize that if "as designed" results in users thinking it's a bug or otherwise not useful — then it's a bad design choice and should be revised. They need to leave options in place for people that don't agree with some of their "new" aka bad ideas.
Assuming users don't want to use Mini Bridge vertically is just ridiculous — especially since you can't dock it to the bottom in InDesign like you can in Photoshop.
And not showing folders in the thumbnail view is most unintuative thing to do here. If it's a Mini Bridge, why doesn't it behave like bridge and at least have a check box for filtering out folders or something.
Mini Bridge is kind of useless now.

CS5.5 - Where is Mini Bridge?

InDesign CS5.5, running in WinXP. I don't see Mini Bridge on the Window menu, and when I shift-click on the Bridge icon, it opens regular Bridge. When I click the link near the bottom which says "Reveal in Mini Bridge", I get an error message: "Unable to reveal this document". Yes, I have Bridge open already in the background. Same error no matter what document I have open.

Eugene, of course I've thought of that. But the evidence points to something more inbetween: an incompatility between my systems (plural) and Adobe products only, with perhaps both at fault. The CS4 updating problem occurred on my previous system. For various reasons I trashed that computer and got a new one. The very first non-Microsoft programs I installed were the CS4 suite. Well, guess what? First AIR updates failed one after the other, then anything that needed AIR, such as Media Encoder, failed to update and then stopped working entirely. Photoshop CS4 failed to update yet again. I lived with it. I also wasn't alone. I checked the forums and saw louder moans than mine on this same issue.
If I was the only single user experiencing the issues of nonconnectivity of CSLive, and malfunction of MiniBridge, in every application, I'd believe it's my system's fault only. But I've found enough evidence on these forums and elsewhere that the problem I'm having, though not rampant, is not unique to me. That means there is still hope for a possible workaround.
If anyone has a suggestion for any kind of workaround specifically to install MiniBridge in its latest form for CS5.5 applications--other than reformatting my computer and hoping it maybe works this time around--I will be delighted to try it!
And by the way, Eugene, I genuinely appreciate your taking the trouble to post your various suggestions. Everyone else, too.
