Have you set one of your IMAP based email accounts to have its notes displayed in the Notes app ? Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , tap on your email account on the right-hand side and set Notes to 'On' - you will then be able to set that email account to be the default account for new notes.

Yes.
You need to,turn on Home Sharing in iTunes on the computer. The computer and the iPad will need to be on the same wireless network. You will also need to make sure the same AppleID accosiared with your iTunes is also added to the Music app in Settings.

Don't have a movies option tab on iPad

I am trying to download / buy movies using iTunes on my iPad and when I open my ituens app the only three tabs available are: podcasts, iTunes U and Downloads. I was expecting a Movies tab but can't see any other option beside the 3 mentioned above. I also went into the Download section and it is blank..
What am I missing??

You don't say where you are, but it would seem that you are in a country for which Apple has not been able to obtain the rights to sell music, movies and videos. If that is indeed the case, then there is nothing you can do unless and until such time as Apple is available to obtain the rights.

You can find the settings for the Passcode Lock in Settings > General > Passcode Lock. If you are looking for Auto-Lock, then go to Settings > General > Auto-Lock. If you are not seeing these options then you may need to do a reset settings on your iPhone, which is located at General > Settings >Reset > Reset All Settings.

Why cant I turn the passcode lock option off?

The "turn off" passscode lock option isn't lit when I touch it. In other words, I cant deactivate the passcode lock option.
Help?

If your phone was provisioned by your employer or by your Exchange account, that option may be deleted. You'll have to contact your IT dept.

Passcode Lock Options

Only option under "Require Passcode" is "Immediately". So now i have to enter my passcode each time the screen goes blank (instead of the 4 hour option i had before.) This is a showstopper!

Convert pdf to word doc-but don't have the export option.

I want to convert a pdf (that I got from an email) into a Word doc so I can edit it the way I want to. However, for some reason now I don't have the 'Export' option in my File drop down list.
Funny thing is, I've converted the document once already and have entirely forgotten how I did it obviously!
I've made so many changes in my first conversion I want to start over.
why don't I have the 'Export' option? Or ... when I do a 'save as' and chose 'word doc' it only does a copy - paste type save - where I can't make any changes. It's like it puts it into a text box or something.

This usually happens when you're dealing with a very poor quality scanned document that doesn't have enough data for the Acrobat OCR engine to actually process.

i am troubleshooting iTunes match because it has been days since i uploaded music to mac iTunes and it still has the iCloud status icon for 'waiting'.

I just installed Dreamweaver CC 2014 for Mac it and I don't have the "Extract" option anywhere. It doesn't appear in the Window menu, and pressing cmd+K doesn't do anything.
Any ideas??

I Don't Have Number Lock

I tried to turn off Secure Boot. The i saved and went out of BIOS. Then it gave me this security thing. It told me to do this: Alt + 08705 (or some number like that, not sure exactly). The problem is I don't have number lock. Is there a way to bypass this security thing or do i need to do something about the number lock thing. Please help me, I want to dualboot kali and windows 8

The history option is the little clock icon at the bottom of the Bookmarks menu - the icon in the center between the open book and the eye glasses icons. You don't have that? Try closing Safari and see if the history option comes back

The Settings > General > Software Update option only appears when you have iOS 5+ installed, if you have iOS 4 or earlier on it then you will need to do the update via your computer's iTunes.
Connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases if you are on iTunes 11). You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case.
