I Don't Have Privileges?

Question

Whenever I try to sync up my iPhone using iTunes, I get an error message saying:
"iPhone cannot by synced. You do not have the privileges to make changes"
Once I click OK, I can sync up just fine but the error notice keeps appearing every time I want to sync up.
Why is it appearing and how do I get rid of it? I tried repairing the Disk Permissions but it didn't have any affect.

Do this:
Close itunes.
1.Log in using an administrator account.
2.From the Go menu, choose Go to Folder.
3.Type: "/Users" and click Go.
4.If there is not a Shared folder in the Users folder, from the File menu, choose New Folder.
5.Name the folder "Shared".
6.Select the new folder and from the File menu, choose Get Info.
7.Click the disclosure triangle to open the "Ownership and Permissions" section.
Set the permissions as follows (you may be prompted to enter an administrator account password):
Owner: access Read & Write
Group: access Read & Write (Note: For Mac OS X v10.6 or later, this permission should be Wheel: access Read & Write).
Others: access Read & Write
8.Close the Get Info window.
Restart your computer.
Launch itunes & sync.
