When I update to ios 8 I don't have raise to speak siri I have iphone 5. anybody can help me?

Raise to speak Siri function stopped working

The raise to speak Siri function on my new 4s stopped working., I have tried turning it off and on several times and it is still not working, Siri still works when I press the home button. Anyone else hae this problem and how did they fix it?

Activating Siri with raise to speak is tricky, and not at all intuitive.
You have to start with the phone in front of you, held parallel to the floor (ie. held flat horizontally), then bring it up to your ear so it's vertical with a normal, smooth motion. Your hand must rotate from the horizontal to vertical position of the phone.
If you start with the phone vertically in front of your face, then move it over to your ear Siri will NOT activate.
They key is starting with the phone held horizontally. The motion from horizontal to vertical is necessary. It uses the motion sensor as well as the proximity sensor.
This is illustrated on page 39 of the iPhone User Manual. I recommend you download the manual and look at the illustration and it will be crystal clear:

Try updating it via iTunes on a computer.
Also, to find out what is taking up so much storage go to Settings>General>Usage>Manage Storage. It will list what is taking up your storage starting with the one that is taking up the largest amount.

You can't use iCloud like that. It isn't a general file storage service; it's designed to sync data across your devices.
Some options are to sync all your music or other media off your device, then sync it back on after you update. Another is to import your photos to your computer (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083), then sync them back to your phone after you update by putting them in a folder, then selecting the folder on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing.

They are free if you have activated a new iOS 7 compatible device since 1st September 2013. When did you buy and activate your iPad and/or iPhone ? If on or after that date then try logging out of your account on that device by tapping on your id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app and then log back in and see if it then shows as free on it
