In order to use FaceTIme, you will need to purchase a device that has FaceTime enabled. In otherwords, not one from Saudi Arabia or any other country in which it is prohibited. Your phone will never be cable of FaceTime. You may be able to use something like Skype, though.

There is no FaceTime app. To initiate FaceTime go the contact page of the person you want to FaceTime in your Contacts app and select FaceTime at the bottom of the screen.

Lion comes with FaceTime. Look in your dock or in the Applications folder.

That's correct, none of the iPhones, sold in the UAE have FaceTime. FaceTime is banned by the government there & there is no way to add it to your phone. If you wanted FaceTime, you shouldn't have purchased your phone there.

Where did you get the old one? If it came from the Middle East, FaceTime was removed from those due to government regulations. It can NOT be added back to them.

Had the same problem, the only fault and the reason why it happend is a bad wifi connection!

first off where are you located? many middle east countries have facetime blocked, nothing to do with your equipment. there is no icon for facetime on the iphone, it is just a button on each individual contact that you can facetime with. you have to add facetime contact info for each person. you can only facetime using wifi with another person that has facetime and is on wifi as well.

Go to Settings/Phone and make sure FaceTime is turned on. The iPhone doesn't have a FaceTime app, but rather you access FaceTime through Contacts. There is an icon for FaceTime in a contact record. If it was showing the connect to iTunes screen it is in recovery mode and must be connect to a computer with iTunes. Recovery mode erases all content and settings so there is nothing wrong with using another computer. If you have a backup in iCloud use that to restore, or download the apps and songs you had on it.

I have an Iphone 4.3.3 and do not have the face time application help. I read that it is supposed to be there. I try clicking on contacts that do have face time but i end up getting the email composition mode help.

After I posed the question I ended up solving the issue and sent a message to disregard but I appreciate your prompt reaction it is great.
I solved it by going to settings phone facetime on but had to turn off cellular data as well. Now I turned cel data back on and the feature still shows so that is great.
The second option does not seem to work for me because facetime does not light up on the keypad so I cannot activate it. I will try again or Do you know what i need to do there?

is face time App working currently in Saudi Arabia?? yesterday I bought IPhone 5s without face time app but the store told me there is two version of it , one with face time app and the other with out it, I heard it is banned in Saudi Arabia, if yes why they sell the face time app version!!!

FaceTime is banned, by law, on all iPhones "officially" sold in Saudi Arabia. If a retailer is selling iPhones with FaceTime, that means the retailer is not an official source for iPhones, & the phones that have FaceTime are grey market imports. They could have been sourced from who knows where, and may have been hacked to unlock them. Since iPhone warranty/support, except for the EU, is only valid in country of original purchase, these phones won't have any warranty/support in Saudi Arabia.
