I don't know how to downgrade keynote to 5.05 version.
Keynote doesn't work in OS Lion and I have read that it is better to downgrade the latest version to 5.05, but I don't know how to do it.
I tried from preferences without success.

Can I open .pmd files in indesign? And how? Since indesign is a "substitute" for PageMaker it should/must be possible, but I don't know how to do it
CS6 was the last version capable of opening Pagemaker files. It's included with Cloud subscriptions, so if you don't have it installed (or an earlier version) you can download it from your cloud subscription.
To open them you use File > Open..., but the quality of conversion can range between nearly perfect and total garbage, depending on the PM file and the status of links (unembed images before trying to convert). -
in Iphoto i dragged a group of photos into a folder on the desktop, they went in as thumbnails and i don't know how i did that. can anyone help me do that again
Don't you mean Photos or are you still using iPhoto with 10.10.3?
Normally one gets the preview version of a photo or the edited version if it's been edited when dragging from a thumbnail to the Desktop. Don't know how you would have gotten small thumbnail versions. -

my 2009 macbookpro has begun running very slowly, apps freeze and pages hang ... i've run EtreCheck and there are problems but don't know how to sort ... ran CleanMyMac and freed up about 30GB of space but didn't help ... ran AdwareMedic so that's been sorted but the other issues that came up on the EtreCheck I need help with however i can't figure out how to paste the results on this page

i just had my old operating system reinstalled after a breakdown, and now i can't save pages documents. i don't know how to install word.

I don't know if you can see what's on my screen, but I definitely can't see what's on yours.

Help needed I updated my ipad2 with iOS5 but few of my dashbaords (HTML5) are not working now ,can any one let me know how to downgrade the OS as we have a meeting coming up .. its urgent
Downgrading the iOS is not supported. If you are using Safari this try clearing its cache via Settings > Safari.
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
Sigh.....really late and I want to go to sleep, but I just purchased some Itunes online for the first time, and I don't know how to download them to my ipod. I've never done it before, and it shouldn't be rocket science, but I can't find anything that tells me where to go to download my songs. It said something about check purchases, but I can't even find that screen. I connected my ipod to the computer, and now it says CONNECTED...EJECT BEFORE DISCONNECTING. My BF set up the acct when he bought my ipod as a gift, and as I bought these songs for a special weekend I have planned I can't ask him how to do it. HELP! For some reason the password I always use is not recognized for my account... and since I can't get anyone from itunes without a proper log-in I'm at the mercy of all of you more versed in tech and itunes than I. Is anyone still up that can help me out?
It should keep asking for the password, because it's trying to check for purchases... As soon as you login, it will see you have pending downloads and create the downloads section on the left below Purchases under the Store section. Then it will start the music downloads there, as they will be listed one below the other.
You could just try to check your account balance or view your account and that will trigger a password request too. You can just click on that and say that now iTunes keeps asking for the password and ask him to help you with that. Trick would be to interrupt him so that he carries on with another task after, so he doesn't notice the download. Or you carry on with email or browsing which you were "busy" with when iTunes interrupted you for the password (stupid iTunes) -
Under Settings>Wi-Fi it is showing that my Wifi is off. When i open that to turn it on, it won't allow me to slide it to the on position. It's lighter grey instead of bold, which tells me that action is not available. Under Settings>General>About it says that my Wi-Fi Address is N/A. I have figured out that it should be the very same as my Bluetooth, which also will not work, but I don't know how to program that into my iPhone

Can anyone help me with a problem i am having with my music on my iPhone 4S. I have put alot of Compilation CDs in my library on iTunes. I download these tracks onto my phone, everything is ok so far. Now, this is what is niggling me and I don.t know how to resolve it. This is my problem:
Have downloaded for example: Queen – Bohemium Rhapsody from a compilation album as well as a few complete Queen Album CDs into the iTunes library and then put them into playlists,
When I go onto my phone and select Queen on the MUSIC app using Songs tab at the bottom of the screen it will display all Queen songs and their resective Alum pics, that is all those not in a complilation album, .
If I know the song title I can select the songs tab and find the song that way,
I’ve tried fiddling with the settings in the iTunes app by going to ‘get info’ tab and trying to sort the problem out that way but am not having much luck.What I want the phone to do is show, for example all Queens songs including those in compilation albums. Can this be done, would be grateful for any ideas on how it can be done, that is if ic can be done, any ideas

My ipad 3 is frozen on the plug into itunes page - it won't turn off or on - just stuck. I have tried to follow advice I have found on these pages but I don't know how to connect the ipad to my mac (the advice is to connect ipad to mac and there is no usb port on an ipad). I have problem with Itunes losing where podcasts and some purchased music is located. Don't know how Itunes losing the locations of the files and I can't find the files on my hard drive. What can I do to stop Itunes losing location and restore my files?

What's with Safari 6? Extremely unstable, scrolling lags, typing lags...
I upgraded to Safari 6 just before (using Software update, I'm using 10.7) and... it's completely unusable. I tried to post this question using Safari but it crashed 4 times, so I'm in Chrome now. (No crash report dialog appeared to report to Apple.)
